those police officers will soon be protecting the city without pay. >> we want to make sure that our members aren't taken off guard. >> reporter: be prepared, the unofficial warning atlantic city's police union president and the supervisor delivered to officers at a weekend roll call, if they stop getting paid. >> we do have to go couple weeks or months without getting paid, that could be devastating to some of our members and their families. >> reporter: the city deep in debt is in danger of going broke next month, late this afternoon the mayor announced city hall will close starting april 8 at 4:30 p.m. and remain closed until at least may 2 unless other solutions are found. during the closure period, no city employees will be paid. >> it's sad that we can't come to some sort of compromise. >> reporter: drawn out disagreements in trenton kept a

house party saturday night. neighbors complained about the noise and kids being outside. officers arrested the father on sunday. his wife went to bail out her husband this morning and officers arrested her too. the officers say teens were smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol. have you seen this? septa police want to find anyone involved in this fight at 30th street station. two men argue, one punched the other guy not once in the face but look at this. twice. it's about to happen there. the guy was knocked out cold. the video posted online. it's not known exactly when the fight happened. a scare at a community center. a car plowed into the wayne bryant center this afternoon. amazingly no one was seriously hurt. sky force 10 captured the scene. >> president obama said no topic

was left off the table with talks with raul castro. he pressed the cuban leader on human rights issues and castro called on him to lift more restrictions from cuba. president obama's first full day began with a wreath laying at one of the most important monuments. following that he walked to the revolutionary palace where he was officially welcomed by president raul cass stroxt following a brief review of the troops the leaders moved behind closed doors for talks described as productive by president obama. >> our growing engagement with cuba is guided by one goal, advancing the mutual interests of our two countries including improving the lives of our people, both cubans. >> tomorrow president obama will address the cuban people during a speech on state-run television. >> we tracked down a student who

>> pretty chilly for this time of the year. we've had wind on top of that during the day today. had sunshine at times but not enough to put the temperature even above 51 degrees. that was our high for the day. we're in the 40s across much of the area. 34 degrees in mount pocono. and we still have some gusty winds, still gusting to 30 miles an hour in philadelphia but 38 in mount pocono. 35 in reading and pottstown. 36-mile-an-hour wind gusts in wilmington. it's going to take a while for the wind to die down. the wind chill. it's back. in the 30s. they 7 in reading and 35 is the way it feels. we go through the night and the temperature dropping.

but it's going to feel like its in the 20s. there will be at least a little bit of wind. i'll let you know when it's going to be a lot different than this in the 70s. >> we were all looking forward to that. tonight court records reveal a possible motive behind the murders of two pennsylvania turnpike workers at a robbery at the booth. a retired trooper filed last year. he hads more than $300,000 in debt. he robbed an armored car at a toll plaza west of harrisburg, then killed two workers before he was shot and killed himself. >> a 6-month-old shepherd pit bull mix was found with a severely cut neck. the spca is calling her clover, she was left tied to the bannister by a cable wire for nearly a month before she chewed herself free.

she underwent emergency surgery. more surgeries are needed. but she's doing fine. the investigation who left the dog is ongoing. so far no charges. speaking of animals, animal control officers got a call even surprised them. a venomous rattlesnake bit a man in mayfair. pamela talked to the officers about the dangerous encounter. >> reporter: each year the animal team comes to the aid of thousands of cats and dogsment sunday it was philadelphia police calling them for help after a man was bitten by his pet rattlesnake. >> it was a little concerning that somebody own add venomous snake. >> reporter: when they got to the home on the 3500 block of wellington avenue they found the make in its enclosure. >> it was in a tank, it had clamps on it.

there was no way to escape. >> a neighbor describe what had she saw from her window. >> cops here and like going through the back, walking all around. we were scared. until i found out it was a rattlesnake. >> knowing what caused the scene. >> it was a young snake. >> reporter: rattlesnakes are illegal in the city and the director of field services for animal care and control says any one who has or handles one needs a special listen. >> we've seen them. the own esh was rushed to a hospital for treatment. while transfer better able to care for it. this case serving as a reminder why people shouldn't make venomous snakes a personal pet. >> they are not a game. sometimes you can't come back from things like this.

rebuilding relations with republicans. donald trump met privately with republican insiders near the u.s. capitol. none of the current gop attended. earlier today he had this to say about the so-called movement. >> people want to be smart they should embrace this movement. if they don't want to be smart, they should do what they are doing now and the republicans are going to go down to a massive loss. >> any minute now trump plans to reveal his plans for a peace are deal in the middle east. ted cruz picked up an endorsement. utah governor gary herber is throwing his support behind the senator. cruz is expected to be the front run tear beat donald trump. in the last hour ohio governor john kasich spoke at the american conference.

he told the crowd that his extensive political resume gives him the upper hand when it comes to foreign relations and he fully reports the jewish state and partnership with the u.s. donald trump cannot be trusted, clinton targeted his claims he would be a neutral bargainer between israel and palestinian authorities. >> yes, we need steady hands, not a president who says he's neutral on monday, pro israel on tuesday and who knows what on wednesday because everything is negotiable. >> clinton also said that trump is unqualified to handle heated international conflicts as commander in chief. the primaries tomorrow instead of a speech, this is a live picture, bernie sanders just took the podium there. in front of all of those signs.

tip jars stolen from two restaurants. you can imagine employees in the store owner are not pleased. franco's restaurant posted this video last night. the video show as woman taking the tip jar and walking off. workers at another restaurant in medford said someone stole theirs as well. a few hours ago police

blowing out there, the wind still gusting to 30 miles an hour. it's 49 degrees right now, the winds sustained at 21 miles an hour. we're in the mid-40s, to near 50. only 34 in mount pocono. you can see everyone where else in the 40s across the area except for dover which is at 50 degrees. not going to be that cold as we go through tomorrow. tonight, the temperature going down. here is the freezing mark in philadelphia and into the upper 20s in some of the suburbs, a little bit of wind making you feel colder. it was 64 on friday, but pretty cold over the weekend, today barely up to 51. tomorrow 55. then it starts to go back up. the sustained wind 20s to 30, still in a lot of the area, so it's taking its time for the wind to die down now that the sun sets later, the wind will die down later. not much in the way of precipitation on radar.

so we're dry for the first half of the week. as we go through the night tonight, don't see any clouds around to speak of. tomorrow, the temperatures getting into the mid-50s as you see and then tomorrow night it doesn't cool down very much. and watch what happens during the day wednesday. 70 there in philadelphia, you see 70s in reading and it's not going to be 70 at the shore. but it will be close to 70 in a lot of other places. mostly clear and cold with the wind diminishing. 26 north and west. then during the day tomorrow a mix of sun and clouds, not as cold, not as windy. temperatures into the mid-50s. which is pretty close to average for this time of the year. then wednesday we're way above it. 70 degrees for the high with sunshine. 73 on thursday. thursday night into friday morning we get the showers,
