attacks. she was on her way to new jersey to attend her sister's bridal shower this weekend. >> i didn't expect this because we are about to celebrate. somebody called and said we saw it. everybody is in shock. >> one of her daughters and her husband were hurt in the explosion. new from overnight philadelphia police are looking for a suspect to used an assault rifle to shoot a man several timet at point blank range in philadelphia's east germantown neighborhood. they found him near locust avenue. he's now in critical condition. police surveillance cameras in the area spotted the shooters getting away in a blue hyundai. we have new information this moving on a hit and run that took a man's life in new castle county. delaware state police have released these surveillance pifrs. they're looking for a dark gray

suv that may have damage to its right front side. police believe it may be the car that hit and killed jeremy mccar thichl he was crossing on february 28th when police say a car hit him and took off. the impact through mccarthy more than 100 feet. now from our south jersey bureau, a south camden woman who lost her son to an overdose is raising awareness to help other parents. patty's son saul od'd. she believed somebody was with him and never called for help. it is similar to a good samaritan law that says if a person calls 911 to get someone overdosing help, they won't be arrest

are on the move. they're moving through trenton, they're not producing any showers. any showers will wait until tomorrow. just like yesterday even though we have clouds this morning, they're not going to last for this afternoon. 58 degrees for mt. pocono. 70 in reading. upper 60s for allentown and quakertown. sunny skies. not as strong for doylestown and moun mt. holly. dover, look at 75 degrees this afternoon and plenty of sunshine after a few morning clouds. they're all into the 70s. that's just two degrees away for the record for this date. so we could get very close to that. probably even tie it this afternoon. the clouds clear out a little faster. i'll look at the futurecast in a few minutes. >> thank you very much.

their sanctuary went up in flames. they wondered where they would worship this easter. synagogues and churches all over the town offered their churches. it looks like a fire in the ceiling and electrical wire could be the cause. pennsylvania has a budget after a historic nine-month stalemate. tom wolf will not sign it but conceded to the $6 billion republican plan to go into effect. it increases public school funding by $200 million, state subsidies by 5%. it pales in comparison to wolf's aggressive proposal that began losing support. >> it's like thank god it's done. now what? >> nonprofits had to temporarily

furlough employees because of state budget woes. 're urging better cooperation as lawmakers negotiate for the next physicality year that sa begins in july. happening today, construction workers will raise a tugboat involved in a crash with a barge. at least two persons have died. one person is still missing. crews brought in a crane to raise the tugboat from the riverbed which is scheduled to happen around 7:00 this morning. >> it's 4:16. investigators say two recently discovered pieces of debris are highly likely to have come from missing malaysian airlines flight 370. both panels are cob sis tent with what the rest of the aircraft. they say the debris is almost certainly from flight mh-370.

it disappeared on march 8th, 2014, with 230 people on board. investigators believe it stretched in the most northern stretch of the indian ocean. a flight attendant will be arrested for bringing cocaine. marsha reynolds tried to get the drugs through checkpoint by flashing her badge but when she was randomly selected for screening she dropped her bag and shoes and got a flight to the east coast. if convicted, she could face life in prison. new jersey governor chris christie is calling out president obama for his trip to cuba. in the op-ed piece in the bergen record he said he should demand the communist return fugitives of justice. one was granted asylum by fidel castro in 1984.

night. well, denver's airport is back open after a snowstorm shut it down yesterday. take a look at this. the airport was closed for more than seven hours. wind blown snow made it unsafe and officials were told to track it in its place. people were trapped in their cars in frigid temperatures. . passengers had a bumpy ride trying to land the oklahoma city. they got caught in crosswinds as it came in for a landing. you can see it pushed the plane off its landing course before the pilot made it ride and made a safe landing echlt i would not wanted to have ben that pilot. >> he landed it just right. i've had a landing that looks announcement just a little bit,

just not in a jet. we're going to see a lot of sunshine, a beautiful day ahead, pretty nice for flying. later this afternoon we'll see gusty winds. 51 degrees. that is unusually warm. we should be in the 30s at this time of the hour. coming up just before 7:00 this morning. so the temperatures at this hour are still falling. 46 in doylestown and wilmington. really no cold air to be found. in chester county, coatesville is reporting 38 degrees and west town is 37. clear of any wet weather for us. that's staying to the north, but the snowstorm that was in denver, that's part of the system that's coming our way for tomorrow. the snow is now in nebraska, into minnesota and wisconsin. we'll be dealing with rain and possibly some thunderstorms. that's what st. louis is dealing with this morning into the chicago area, into michigan, it will steer clear of us at noontime. look at that.

good morning, cape may. you can call penndot's hotline to report pothole problems, 1-800-fix-road. they say be specific about the problem on state roads. in the philadelphia region along they have put down 3,000 tons of patching material since september 1st. meantime new jersey has been busy fixing potholes as well. transportation officials say they need to fix about a quarter million potholes. drivers may notice lane or road closures as they make the repairs. we have more on our nbc 10 app. a nonprofit is opening a new location to help men in need find work and dress for success. men's fit has unveiled its latest office space on walnut
