communities. >> reporter: keith and jacqueline, in the city of philadelphia this year the city has been averaging about three people shot every day just think about that, every day, three people, sometimes children, sometimes parents, brothers, sisters, shot, some of them killed. and the group that you saw walking today, they are both doing that to remember them and also to put a stop to it. one of the most recent shootings in the city happened here in north philadelphia. the victim was a 16-year-old girl. she realizes she's shot in the leg. >> reporter: it's two weeks after an 18-year-old girl was hit by a bullet and killed outside her home. the shootings among about 250 in the first 85 days of the year. >> still very emotional thing for me. >> reporter: ryan miller lost his brother, fbi agent, years ago. >> i still feel shock the fact that mike was killed and it's

just very disturbing all the time. >> reporter: he now works with the group heeding god's call to end gun violence. >> we have 238 t-shirts for gun murder victims in philadelphia, all these people had families and neighbors and friends. >> reporter: on good friday, a walk to remember them. >> our defense is our witness. >> reporter: who they were and where they died with the hope to have fewer to remember next year. some of these t-shirts are missing right now because they have gone on this walk that is several blocks around here in germantown but i can tell you as we've been standing here i watched people come, stop, read the names, take a look at these and that's what this group wants, they want you to remember them. and so, this project, these are for all of those killed by gun violence last year. this will be traveling around the city so others can see it as well. live in germantown, lauren mayk,

nbc 10 news. right now at 5, a customer waiting in line to pick up his easter order ends up in critical condition after getting stabbed in the stomach. it happened this morning outside of the colombian bakery. the man with the knife was leaving the store. police tells us men knew each other but they haven't tracked down the suspect or the weapon. police have confirmed that a body found in a canal yesterday is missing airman kiefer human. his truck was abandoned on a bridge over the canal days before he was reported missing in february. the 21-year-old was assigned to the dover air force base. an organization that helps local women achieve economic independence by giving them career clothing is having problems of its own. officials for dress for success philadelphia tell us they will close april 1 due to funding cuts from the state. clients of the program will be referred to the group career

strong. we just talked to a couple from indianapolis who made the 10-hour drive here to philly yesterday. ahead of tonight's big event. >> pretty special team. we've been season ticket holders for a long time. they played north carolina three times in philadelphia and they beat them every time in the tournament. >> you're hoping for another one. >> hoping, right. >> it's really special when your team is there, and i mean, the excitement and just being there, you feel like you're part of them when you're actually there. >> reporter: and that is the feeling that the people here showing up are looking for that they are excited about. that unc versus indiana match-up probably will not tip off until about 9:00 tonight. it is game two. but talk about powerful basketball teams. those two teams have the third and tenth most wins in history respectively. you can imagine what the fans showing up here are in store for tonight.

missionaries hurt in brussels. 19-year-old mason wells is a missionary with the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. he and two colleagues had dropped off a fellow missionary at the airport when explosions ripped through the building. he suffered second and third degree burns in the airport explosion. >> saw fire in front of my face and on the ground around me. i know that the burns came from that. my body was kind of lifted off the ground in the first blast. very loud. >> wells was in paris when that city was attacked in november. he was also in boston during the deadly marathon bombings. a victory in the fight against isis, today the pentagon announced the death of the group's number two leader. he was known as haji imam and was also the terror organization's finance chief. officials believe he was killed in a raid in syria earlier this week, meanwhile, earlier this month a strike claimed the life of the group's warminster moan

the 70s. the sixth one, one of the warmest marches ever recorded is now the 12th month in a row with above average temperatures. we're clearing tonight, starting to get a little cooler. as the northwest winds come in. going to set us up for a mild but not warm weekend. and then the rain starts to come in on monday. pretty good timing. we're starting to see some of the clouds break up but it's still mostly cloudy. but it's up to 73 degrees in philadelphia. the wind is shifted now, west-northwest winds at 16 miles an hour. watch the temperature start to go down in the next couple of hours. and there it is, 73 wednesday, we barely missed 70 yesterday. 73 today. and then we're dropping. that's a pretty nice drop there by saturday, still 5 degrees above average. and 63 degrees for sunday. so the temperatures, 70 at

wilmington, wrightstown, trenton, northeast philly at 71. 66 in chester springs. but it looks like it's cooling off north and west. quakertown 61, reading and allentown, pottstown, 62. and it's getting pretty windy there as well. and we're near 70 degrees farther to the south. 69 in woodbine and in mount hol holly. you can see the last of the showers moving off. sussex county, delaware and long beach island, just about to say good-bye. and drier air coming in, then drier all the way back past the chicago, so none of that moisture is getting here by the end of the weekend. the only way any moisture can come in is from the ocean. and we'll get a little bit of that by easter sunday. 7:00 a.m., some low clouds, maybe fog. the sun rise, 6:52 a.m. for the sun rise services. and it should be dry during the morning.

temperatures rise in through the 50s. again, not as warm as it's been, but still for this time of the year it's not bad. as we go through the day saturday, see temperatures getting up. here's 60 degrees but east wind keeps things cooler at the shore. then here comes clouds from the ocean as we go into sunday morning. so that's why i would expect it to be fairly cloudy to start off the day. then we'll get some breaks during the afternoon and that will allow the temperature to get back up into the 60s. it's not going to be a strong enough east wind to keep the temperatures down a lot. the showers ending pretty soon. you saw the last of them about to move out. clearing, low near 40. tomorrow a lot cooler than today. a lot of sunshine, and not a lot of wind. that's a pretty nice day for a lot of people. then on easter sunday, 63 degrees with especially morning

seven-day in the few minutes. to decision 2016 tonight the donald trump campaign is fulfilling his threat to spill the beans on ted cruz's wife heidi. trump gave that threat in response to an ad from an anti-trump super pac that used a nude photo of his wife. today a trump spokeswoman attacked heidi calling her a bush operative, and accusing her of helping to kill millions of jobs. the cruz campaign responded saying there is no low the trump campaign won't go to. cruz also accuses trump of spreading a lie printed in a tabloid that accuses cruz of cheating on his wife. >> i believe his conduct in this campaign is convincing millions of americans that this man would be an embarrassment as president. that we don't want a president who traffics in sleaze and slime. >> cruz strongly denies the

cheating allegation. a man accused of rushing the stage at a donald trump event this month says he's not guilty, thomas entered the plea in court in ohio today. he jumped a barricade and charged at the stage where trump was speaking. his attorney says the college student was only trying to express his political views. he faces a maximum sentence of one year in prison. three states to pick, alas characters hawaii, a total of 172 delegates are up for grabs and time is running out if you want to register to vote in the pennsylvania primary. in p.a. the deadline is monday april 2 in delaware and may 17 in new jersey. the democrats hold their national convention in philadelphia this summer. today we sat down with mayor jim kenney and asked him if the he had concerns about terrorism while the delegates are in town. >> concerns every single day.
