searching for a second suspect. the suspect in custody is a student at the school. >> austin edye sexually assaulted a fellow student on april 1st. the victim told police it happened inside the new street parking garage on campus. the next day, a woman reported she was assaulted in her residence hall. that suspect is not a student. a push to end sexual violence took center stage on another local college campus tonight. delaware valley university in doylestown hosted take back the night as part of sexual assault awareness month. some people share their stories by decorating t-shirts with art and clothes. >> we teach people not to get raped we're just now starting to teach people not to rape. that's an uncomfortable part of the conversation we have to have. >> events like this are held in hundreds of communities around the country and the world to help put an end to all forms of

clinton, and today it was bernie sanders chance to speak at the afl-cio convention in philadelphia. the race is heating up between them. the most recent spark was due to sanders comment about whether clinton is qualified to be president. >> if secretary clinton thinks i just come from the small state of vermont, we will not be lied about. we will be fight back. >> hillary clinton is trying to downplay the war of words. new york holds the next primary on the 19th. clinton and sanders can agree on at least one thing, both candidates took the time today to congratulate the philadelphia gay news on 40 years in service. the publication celebrated the anniversary in style at the pennsylvania academy of fine arts. hundreds of supporters attended tonight's event. including mayor kenny. since their first issue in 1973, the philadelphia gay news has turned up more than 1800

a federal agency is ordering amtrak to retrain its workers on safety. just days after a train crash left two rail workers dead in delaware county. the mandate indicates that basic safety rules were not followed this weekend. drew smith is digging into those

new guidelines. >> he looks into how the government and amtrak see this as a step to prevent future deaths on the railroad. >> it took only seconds for amtrak train 89 to crash and kill two workers on the tracks in chester sunday. their heavy duty backhoe blown apart. investigators said it would take weeks maybe months to sort out. >> it was totally unfortunate, it's a human error. >> already, the federal railroad administration is demanding that amtrak workers review safety rules and study communication protocols with dispatchers. >> it does appear that this is becoming a common theme. hopefully it can be remedied. >> part of the directive obtained by nbc10 is in bold print reminding amtrak that it must notify workers if there are changes to the job. tracks should not reopen to leave workers to the area.

on. they led police from the l.a. suburb of ceritos through hollywood, you see them doing doughnuts in the middle of the pursuit. police eventually caught up to the suspects and took them into custody without incident. a kentucky man picked the wrong place to rob. surveillance video shows the men snatch money out of the cash register at a butcher shop. he runs out the door with workers right on his heals. you is can see them getting ahold of the suspect and together they held him down until police got there. princeton university's men's lacrosse coach is out of a job tonight. he was fired after elbowing an opposing player during a game. the university said the move to terminate chris bates came after the review of the incident which happened during the game at brown university saturday. bates had been put on leave earlier this week. a $2000 fine and a 90-day trip to the slammer, that's what a new jersey man could be

facing, his crime? flying a trump campaign flag outside of his home. these flags have been flying outside the home of john hornic since february. recently he was cite d for flyig flags more than 30 days before the election. michelle obama brought her healthy eating to a new jersey school today. al roker was along for that visit. they toured the school's vegetable garden and sat down and sampled some of the school's fare. a north carolina fan isn't taking the loss to villanova very well. he says the national championship game officials decided the game, not the players on the court. he wants the ncaa to launch a

in for the weekend. i'll show you the timing in a minute. monday, phillies home opener, we have a lot of things happening here. cooler air on our doorstep. 30s to our north and west. still at 51 in philadelphia. the rain has cleared out, this cooler air is going to move in, already in the mid-40s through the lehigh valley, tomorrow morning it will be a cooler start 20 to your day. locally we're dried out from the heavier rain and thunderstorms we had earlier. could see a couple light snow showers blow in tomorrow morning, i wouldn't be surprised but i think we're mostly going to stay dry. philadelphia area seeing light rain now, and that extends into parts of montgomery county. this is really the last round of it. future weather showing us clearing out overnight. trying to pick up early tomorrow morning lake effect snow showers blowing in, wouldn't be a big deal. just don't be surprised if you do see it if you're west of philadelphia. nice and dry across the area. highs in the low 50s. for the villanova parade, it looks pretty good.
