i'm keith jones. let's get to our weather for a look at what's out there in your neighborhood. what's coming down now? >> we don't have much locally, keith, but west and down to the south, you can really see it on radar. we have storms to the south. scattered showers and storms to the west. this is a very unorganized weather system of the the rest of tonight and even early tomorrow, we can expect pop up showers and chance of thunderstorms, too, and also with the new neighborhood weather we are showing you, don't forget the seven day forecast always scrolling at the bottom of the screen. let's zoom in locally. if you have the plans to head out tonight, i think most of the area will be staying dry, but we'll have showers, thunderstorms moving into maryland currently, but locally, we've mainly seen the rain in parts of south jersey and delaware. cape may county, you saw the live video we had the rain move through there, and are seeing light rain moving through parts

of salem and cumberland counties. tonight, areas expecting scattered showers are mostly overnight as temperatures drop into the 60s and early tomorrow morning, mostly new jersey and delaware seeing that rain lingering. a closer look at the weekend forecasting up. >> we'll check in, thank you. meantime, decision 2016, the mad dash to primary day in pennsylvania and delaware. with the clock ticking down to tuesday, we find presidential candidates in the area today. hillary clinton rappeared, and sanders in philadelphia, and the republican side of things, ted cruz is allentown, and trump is in harrington, delaware tonight. >> we need a great president. we need a great, great president because we are really in trouble. >> voters head to the polls tuesday, the 2 vpth, just four days away. we have team coverage of the

countdown to the primaries. lauren mayk covering the democratic candidates for us tonight, but we begin with andrea live in delaware where trump spoke this afternoon. big crowd there today. >> reporter: hundreds pop hundreds of people showed up, some lining up in the middle of the night. take a look. the rally is over. people are going home right now. it was a quick stop for the presidential candidate who was just in town for an hour. [ cheers and applause ] the line snaked around the arena hours before the gates even opened. >> i got here at 3:00 a.m. >> reporter: anticipation mou mounted as supporters waited to see trump, and when he arrived, the excitement exploded. >> we have 378 entities registered in the state of delaware meaning i pay you a lot of money, folks -- >> staying on message talking about bringing jobs back to the united states, lowering taxes, and taking on hillary clinton.

>> reporter: what does "make america great again" mean to you? >> morals, people making a living in this country. >> reporter: the issue that nates most with many of the supporters here is his take on immigration. >> if he builds the wall and fixes immigration so that people are legal and fixes trade, i think he'll fix trade. a smart businessman. >> why many say trump has their volt on tuesday. there were people who were escorted out of the rally. some had signs against trump, but we saw men escorted out, and they told us that they did not say a word and they were still asked to leave even before trump arrived. now, we have asked the trump campaign, we've asked to see what the grounds were for their removal. we're waiting to hear back, but state police tell us this is a private event, and the trump campaign and fairgrounds have jurisdiction over saying who can and can't be here.

watch prince, life and death of an icon tonight at 10:00 right here on nbc 10. i want to show you now three pictures that capture the moments of sexual assault in south philadelphia. the photos are a key piece to the photos in finding the man in the crime. the man you see right here attacked a woman around 1:30 wednesday morning as the tim was walking when the man grabbed her and knocked her to the ground. she used pepper spray to fight the guy. if you recognize him, police want to hear from you. we have new information tonight as homicide detectives investigate the death of a 16-year-old girl inside a wilmington high school. police identified the victim as 16-year-old amy joiner francis. she was a sophomore at howard high school for technology. school officials say she died from injuries sustained after getting in a fight in the girl's bathroom yesterday morning, but police have not said how or if

they plan to file charges. school was dismissed early today as counselors were made available for the students. family, friends, and students packed church today to remember a school superintendent hit and killed jogging this week. it was an emotional triat that, too, for mayer who served as supersben dent, remembered as an educator, innovator, and friend, but most importantly as a family man devoted to his wife and three sons. he was struck and killed tuesday while out for a morning jog with his dog. according to investigators, a 17-year-old student from the high school hit him on the way to campus for a class trip. today is known as no-pay friday for workers in atlantic city. municipal employees got the last paycheck and not getting another until may 8.

the city hosted a free barbecue today to keep mori real high. they served up food and employees say it's been difficult to adjust to getting just one paycheck per month. >> we do things every day a certain way, and at times we think about we have to slow down because thes come in regardless, but the check comes once a month. >> and the mayor says the city's getting a break from the recent struggles with news that casinos plan to hire about 2400 workers this year. big news about this year's wawa welcome america celebration. nbc 10 and our parent company comcast nbc universal are the new home for the nation's biggest birthday party, of course, what you see here, the ben franklin parkway is playing host to the big 4th of july concert and fireworks, and now watch it all live.
