nbc 10 news starts now. you hear three different gunshots right after everybody went hiding. >> hundreds of worshippers take cover as a sunday church service in montgomery county is shattered by gun fire. when it was over one man was dead. authorities say it was a fellow

church member who pulled the trigger. >> good evening. i'm denise nakano. what led to the violence and whether charges will be fileda, genst the gunman. the shooting happened during services at keystone fellowship church in north wales montgomery county. nbc 10's lauren mig has been gathering information. you spoke to a woman who was inside the church at the time of the shooting. >> reporter: that's right, denise. she tells me this is a non-denominational church and everyone is welcome and they were worshipping inside here when it happened. >> inside the keystone fellowship church in north wales, was there music laying. >> it was like champagne bottles. >> she and others got on the ground. everybody was trying to make themselves as small as possible. you could hear some screaming and crying, but it was pretty silent.

>> montgomery township, active shooter. >> reporter: inside police found 27-year-old robert braxton shot in the chest. investigators are piecing together what happened. montgomery county's district attorney says a disturbances escalated to an altercation. >> the individual involved in the shooting is cooperating with police at this point. joel summers wasn't inside when it happened and it's still reeling knowing his daughter and granddaughter was there glad to be reunited. >> i can't describe it because i don't think i've ever been that afraid of anything in my life. >> his thoughts went to the church shooting in charleston. >> to hear my daughter say she was hunkered down and crawling under the seats of the church and not knowing if this person was going to come up and down the rows shooting and it's, you know, i'm glad that that didn't happen and there weren't more lives that were lost. >> police have been interviewing witnesses all day. as you can imagine there are quite a few of them and trying

both candidates have double digit leads among likely pennsylvania voters. trump with an 18% point lead over ted cruz and john kasich. as for the democrats, clinton holds a 15% edge over senator bernie sanders. tomorrow four presidential candidates will be back in our area. clinton will stump in wilmington and philadelphia. sanders and john kasich will also be in philly and donald trump will hold a rally in westchest westchester. >> as we mentioned, pennsylvania and delaware voters also head to the polls tuesday. new jersey's primary's june 7th. we'll be tracking the candidates' visits to the area with the nbc 10 app. plus you can see the delegate count ask check the dates for the upcoming caucuses and primaries. and the washington capitals will move on to the second round! >> the quest for the cup is over.

philadelphia. police have identified the suspect. police say the man pointed a gun at the victim and forced her into a car near 49th and lancaster avenue around 4:00 yesterday morning. nearly 12 hours later she was able to escape a black four-door car with a garbage bag over a rear window. police took her to temple university hospital where she was treated and released late last night. police say the victim knew the suspect who was still on the loose. >> philadelphia police are looking for the person who shot and killed a 17-year-old boy in feltonville overnight. it happened after 3:00 this morning outside the cafe lounge in feltonville. police say the victim had an argument with another group of kids before that shooting broke out. still ahead, back to school, why pennsylvania's new medical marijuana law had people in our area returning to the classroom today. glenn? >> now we're in for warmer weather tomorrow and then wet weather is on the way.

great weather coming tonight. we're going to be seeing temperatures drop though fairly quickly into the mid-50s. this is lehigh valley and eastonand seeing high, thin clouds in the morning and that is the only issue. as we look into the neighborhoods and it is generally in the 60s and a little cooler and significantly cooler at the jersey shore as it's been in the 50s and in philadelphia itself we're seeing temperatures generally between 66 and 69 degrees and 68 at the airport and 67 degrees in chestnut hill and with his neighborhood weather we can pinpoint the slightest differentes that we're going to be seeing as we go through the spring and into the summer and some amazing differences in the wintertime. it's been 70 degrees both days into the weekend officially. 76 degrees tomorrow and 82 degrees on tuesday, election

day. however, it's not exactly going to be bright and sunny on election day. here comes this area of rain. it's pretty far away right now, but it is going to be affecting at least parts of the area by election day. some showers and thunderstorms and we're dry during the day on monday and there's no doubt about that and we are dry on monday night, as well and then watch the showers come down as we go into tuesday. not much in the way of showers tuesday morning. the best chance of the showers or even thunderstorms comes in the afternoon and there's 11:00 a.m. and we have a couple of showers around and a little bit more as you can see developing in the afternoon and then it moves through tuesday night and we're setting up for a fairly wet weather pattern as we go toward the end of the week. it's going to be dry tomorrow in all of the neighborhoods, just
