alert neighborhood weather. this rain is going to last for days? it's not going to end any time soon. the driest day over the next several days will be saturday, but until then we have more rain in the forecast for tomorrow and more rain as we go into sunday. some of which could be pretty heavy. so with our new neighborhood forecast we're able to show you live cameras. it's dark outside, but we have still some light rain trying to move through part of the area and don't forget your seven day forecast always skrolg at the bottom of the screen. philadelphia right now 45 degrees, cloudy and chilly. 41 degrees. in the pennsylvania suburbs 46 degrees. we go into the morning hours tomorrow staying in about the mid to low 40s. there's a chance we could see a couple of morning showers, 42 degrees for new jersey tomorrow morning and 43 for the lee high valley. the best chance of rain tomorrow will be mostly in the afternoon.

here is the wet pattern. locally the thunderstorms are staying to our south and we're seeing mostly cloudy skies and maybe more showers overnight tonight. we'll look at the timing of the rain tomorrow and heavy rain for part of your weekend. that's coming up. a man beaten and robbed in the streets. police say his attackers were teenagers seen on video laughing as they made their getaway. >> we're live tonight with the late est on this. that video has clear images of the guys the police are looking for. >> reporter: crystal clear im e images. police hope you see the video and recognize the attackers. they beat up a 43-year-old man and robbed him at this intersection here by the fence. the students we spoke to say this is scarry because this is a place where students walk to and from school buildings and popular hangouts on campus.

pushed, punched, kicked and caught on surveillance camera. police released this video of a man being assaulted during a robbery. an intersection we found gets a lot of foot traffic between school buildings and food trucks. >> weird something like that would happen especially in this part of campus. >> reporter: we showed this surveillance video to people on campus. when you see something like this, what goes through your mind? >> it's really unfortunate. >> i'm surprised it happens anywhere on campus. >> reporter: police say an off-duty police officer chased the suspects away. another surveillance camera captured their faces as they walked east on north street. students say despite this incident this campus does a good job protecting them. >> i feel like the campus is safe, but it makes you double

think everything. >> reporter: the victim has minor injuries. the suspects are between the ages of 16 and 19 years old. you can look at those suspects on our website or the nbc 10 app. an 11-year-old girl escaped what police are calling a suspicious incident. here is a sketch of the man they're looking for. the girl was walking on the big chief trail. that's when the man walked up to her and started making conversation. she ran away when he tried to grab her arm. the man looks like he's in his mid 40s with a white stripe in his slick backed air. he broke into his girlfriend's home and stole something and chased her outside. that's what police are saying one of their own did last month. the police commissioner

suspended the officer after he removed a screen from the window and breaking the window to get inside. he's suspended for 30 days with the intent to dismiss him from the church. a church community is heart broken tonight. >> a member could spend two decades in jail. he's charged with voluntary misaftmi man slaughter. >> drew is live at the courthouse for us. >> reporter: this shooting victim had many friends and family who say they're going through a tremendous loss and they've been waiting days now for news of an arrest and tonight they feel there was some justice. mark storms walked with his hands cuffed this afternoon. he made no comment as the judge set bail at $250,000. no one in this home answered the door tonight. >> all units active shooter.

>> reporter: police swarmed the church sunday. here's what prosecutors now say happened. robert braxton was angry about a seating situation at the service. ushers tried to calm him and storms came up and showed a conceal carry badge. braxton punched and storms fired two shots which hit and killed the 27-year-old. >> a gun is introduced into a fistfight. the victim has no weapon. >> reporter: family members shared these photos of him on a memorial page. they were too upset to speak on kma you. >> churches of places of peace. guns are about fear and violence. they don't fit together. >> reporter: it is legal to carry a gun with a permit in pennsylvania churches and pro-gun groups have said they're needed for self defense since churches have become targets, but advocates have encouraged

pastors to make churches gun-free zone. >> if there had been two guys fighting they would have forgotten about it, but with a shooting it will stick with everybody for the rest of their lives. >> reporter: mark storms is due back here in court in may. robert braxton's funeral is set for saturday in the same church where he was shot. live at the courthouse i'm drew kmith. police are investigating a pop legend prince died from a drug overdose. this comes after they found painkillers at his home. investigators want to know if a doctor was prescribing him drugs leading up to his death. prince was treated for a potential overdose a week before his death after his plane made an emergency medical landing in illinois. autopsy results aren't expected for another two to three weeks. tonight philadelphia's school reform commission voted to turn three public schools into charter schools. the schools are in west

allegedly threatened to blow up a tv station and then was shot by ploigs. the suspect was wearing a hedge hog oncie when he walked into the fox station. he demanded to air what he said was information about a government conspiracy. the station's security guard said the man claimed he had a bomb. >> he kept on saying i don't want to hurt anyone i don't want to hurt you, but i really want my message to be heard. >> officers were waiting for him outside the station when he refused to put his hands up police shot him. and then they used a bomb sniffing robot to make sure he had no explosives. investigators say he was strapped with a vest that contained candy bars wired together. pot is hitting south jersey. it's called wax or shatter. police say dozens of teenagers have been arrested. they are training officers and canine units on what to look for because waxing can be more
