muhammad ali. the actor sits down with us for a one-on-one interview on the fight he and ali squared off in often. possibly severe storms tomorrow. we're tracking chances for damaging wind and heavy rain as you look at the first alert radar. it's dry now in center city as we take a live look. that will change overnight before the worst of the storms arrive tomorrow afternoon. good evening. i'm george spencer. we declared a first alert for tomorrow. right now our nbc 10 first alert neighborhood forecast. >> that's right. we have a stormy day in the forecast to wrap up the weekend. if you have outdoor plans you'll want to plan accordingly. for the entire area for the potential for strong to severe storms later unthe afternoon and into the evening hours. so again, this is going to

affect us let's say after the noon time frame. this could be particularly problematic through the course of the afternoon and into the evening. i'm going to take a closer look at what we've got going through the afternoon. through the afternoon time frame is when it's going to occur sunday afternoon and evening. severe thunderstorms capable of damaging winds, hail, and even heavy rain is what we expect as we head into tomorrow. again, storms expected on radar we got showers moving through, parts of monroe county, a shower through berks county. this is not what we're looking at into tomorrow. we've got a lot of stormy weather to the west, and again that's what's going to move in into tomorrow. so during the early morning hours perhaps we'll see thunderstorms but later in the day let's say after the noon time frame when those thunderstorms can become strong to severe coming up we'll look at the timing and see exactly what we can expect for your neighborhood through the course of the afternoon.

parkinson's. he was 74. his body will be returned to his hometown of louisville, kentucky in the next days where a funeral is planned for friday. former president bill clinton will deliver a eulogy. the greatest of his fights, back in 1984 he was diagnosed with parkinson's disease, while the illness depleted his abilities it did not stop him from advocating and he found a partner in actor michael j. fox. aundrea cline-thomas sat down with fox, she joins us live from the digital operations center with more. >> george, michael j. fox was diagnosed in 1991, but he did not make it public for another seven years. he said one call from muhammad ali changed the way he looked at his diagnosis. like many gyms you don't have to

in decision 2016 we are now 51 days away from the democratic national convention here in philadelphia. and today bernie sanders says he is sure that convention will be contested. speaking in california today, sanders says it is extremely unlikely that hillary clinton will clinch the nomination on tuesday. that's when six states including california and new jersey will vote. >> in my view if the voter turnout is high, we will win

new at 11, an explosion leveled a home in new jersey. that home is in phillipsberg in warren county across the river from allentown. two people were hurt, one seriously. that explosion happened around 5:00 tonight. investigators are still trying to figure out what caused it. in south jersey today camden police officers are spreading a little bit of good will one jump at a time. the department hosted a block party today to allow the community to meet the officers who protect their streets. among the festivities a chance for the kids to challenge those officers in basketball. it was a surprise dream come true today for a world war ii veteran. charles noonan in dover received his diploma from roman catholic high school, a wish granted thanks to the twilight wish foundation. noonan who will turn 90 next

month, left school to join the navy during the war. tonight the roots are hosting their biggest picnic to kick off the summer music season. ♪ >> kalani took the stage. she is one of more than a dozen performers and tonight usher also performed with the roots as his backup. speaking of big musical names, tomorrow beyonce will perform in front of a sold out crowd at lincoln financial field. looking at a live picture from the linc where everything is now set up for her formation tour tomorrow night. i love beyonce but of course fans are going to have to keep an eye on the weather. we have thunderstorms in the forecast for tomorrow but let's look at what we have going on

now. skies right now generally clear across our p.a. suburbs, philadelphia into south jersey. cooler across southern new jersey. society hill at 73 in pensport, same for those in west mount airy, park side at 72. as we've seen the last couple days it's cooler toward the shore, 66 now in upper township, ocean city 67 f we go further inland we're in the mid-60s that includes those in mays landing and for tomorrow we're looking at much more active day. we can have spotty storms in the morning hours but between 6 and 9:00 in the morning that would be areas south and east. i'm not thinking those will be severe. as the day goes on the heating of the day, the sun's going to come out. that helps destabilize the atmosphere. later in the day the thunderstorms can develop. looking generally isolated but it's really from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. we're going to see our cold front move through.

that's going to ignite strong to severe storms that contain damaging wind, hail, heavy downpours and we can't rule out an isolated tornado. it's going to be a little bit before we get the less humid air mass. a lot of stormy weather across the eastern u.s. and that extends from the northeast down toward the mid-atlantic. even down in through the southeast as well. at the moment we're only seeing showers moving in to some of our western areas, lancaster and berks county, corbin county as well. tomorrow we find ourselves in this enhanced risk area for thunderstorms. we don't see this too often. this means conditions are very favorable for the thunderstorms to intensify so again, if you have outdoor plans in the afternoon and into the evening you'll want to make sure you are sticking with us for changing conditions. overnight again i mentioned we can see spotty stuff move through early in the morning, late in the day still looking spotty although these can be locally heavy. it's later in the day we'll see our line organize across western

areas, here 5:30, that's heavy rain that shifts east across the i-95 corridor. here is 8:00. that will be shifting toward our shore points, perhaps 9:00 at night before eventually moving on through and we'll start to see clearing late sunday night into monday morning. again, we're talking about the potential for heavy rain with this, along with the damaging winds. perhaps 3/4 inch of rain in philadelphia could be even heavier north and west toward the lehigh valley. you'll want to make sure you are keeping an eye to the sky tomorrow in the afternoon and into the evening hours, the storms can be nasty. we clear out nicely on monday, the sun returns, the temperature doesn't drop down a lot but less humid. tuesday the chance for showers does return, it's not looking severe. tomorrow if you have outdoor plans you'll want to be careful.

hello. we continue to look back at the life of muhammad ali who died last night at the age of 74. one of his greatest fights was the rumble in the jungle against george foreman in 1974. foreman was the reigning champion and came out strong. after taking the best foreman had to offer ali knocked foreman down and the referee stopped the fight. >> the rumble in the jungle i called it the mugging in the jungle. i went there with two heavyweight title belts, came out with none. the thing, we would meet all the time and discuss bible scriptures and religion. we'd argue, get thirsty and hope to meet again so we could do more and get thirsty. but we always ended with a big embrace. he loved me.
