begin. moore walking past the mother and her two children, a toddler and infant in the stroller. amore notices, pauses and appears to start chatting with the family. just minutes later she's lunching with the woman and her children at the food court soon even rocking the infant in her arms. at one point, amore clears the table walking over to the trash can. this time she returns to the table but just moments later, she, again, steps just behind the mother's back and this time she bolts. rushing away with the baby in her arms. the mother on the phone back still turned. cameras captured amore rrkr rac through the mall past the escalators then up the stairs. within minutes cameras captured her walking out of the mall. this still frame shared thousands of times that day on social media. amore walked to her car and simply drove away with someone else's child. that infant was found with amore

that night in chester county. the child's mother says the day of that kidnapping was her family's very first visit to the mall. keith? >> george spencer reporting. watch that entire video on the nbc 10 app. as for the suspect, she has her next court date later this month. she's charged with the kidn kidnapping. amore already pleaded not guilty. nbc 10 will continue to cover this case and bring you any updates. now to the phillies. ryan howard was the face of a franchise. let's not forget. he wasn't just the phillies' mvp but the league mvp. also gave philadelphia a championship back in 2008. but how things have changed. the slugger is no longer playing every day. and over the weekend, a fan threw a beer bottle at him. now philadelphia police are investigating. nbc 10's tim furlong joins us live from citizens bank park where ryan howard had a message to all fans this afternoon. tim, you know what, i'd be upset, too. >> reporter: yeah, come on, of

course. i've worn this guy's jersey for years. if it was me, you, anybody, we wouldn't be happy about it. i know he hasn't given us much to talk about on the field the last few years, numbers are way down but most of the fans coming to the game against the cubs tonight, they know about the fan who threw the beer bottle at ryan howard. most say despite his numbers on the field, they got ryan's back on this. >> i don't care how bad somebody thinks i'm playing, that's just -- it's uncalled for. >> shouldn't do it, shouldn't do it, period. >> reporter: that's ryan howard talking about the phillies fan that shoe a beer bottle after him after the game saturday. >> it's the bad apples that kind of give the town a bad rap. the philly security director tells me the fan was able to sneak out of the park. police are getting the philly surveillance video to find the guy and charge him with disorderly conduct. howard's productivity on the field has gone way down in recent years. everyone seems to agree throwing a bottle is a major fan violation. >> if they find him, ban him from the game.

>> reporter: forever? >> forever. >> reporter: basically say take away his fan card? >> get rid of him. >> at this point it's in the hands of the philadelphia police. we don't have a history of banning people from the ballpark because they've been ejected or arrested. >> my name has been thrown and it's been thrown all around and it's not right. >> reporter: this story has even spilled over on to this guy, joe kind of looks like the guy in twitter picture some believe threw the beer. joe says he was nowhere near the philliess game saturday and is tired of the social media beat-down he's taken over this. >> i'd never do anything like that. it's embarrassing. >> reporter: i caught up with third baseman maikel franco, believes throwing a beer bottle at a player is something that shouldn't happen. ryan howard said he's given the city his all and appreciates fans who pull for him but said it's hard not to take the ordeal personally. >> whether you change oil, work at a grocery store, whatever, if somebody threw a beer bottle at you, you'd be upset. >> reporter: darn right i would. phils playing the cubbies in an hour. police are going to run the video through their facial

recognition software. of course, they hope guy comes forward on his home. get this, i hear charles barkley is around senior the summer and in the building right now and went to the clubhouse, chatted with ryan howard. sort of gave reporters a little taste of how he might have hand ld things if a beer bottle were thrown at him. i assure you it's worth sticking around. charles is always entertaining. live outside the ballpark, tim furlong, nbc 10 news. >> you're 100% right about that, tim. turning to this, every vote counts. new jersey voters hit the polls tomorrow. unlike presidential primaries of the past, this year's election is significant. nbc 10's lauren mayk looks at the push for high turnout and talked to both democratic camps today. she joins us live from voorhees. laura? >> reporter: keith, it was about a week ago i talked to bernie sanders, he told me if turnout is high in new jersey, he would do well. today i talked to a hillary clinton supporter who says if turnout is high here, she will do well. well, regardless, both campaigns are trying to get out the vote today and through tomorrow.

>> reporter: at the bernie sanders office in collingswood, volunteers are making calls and making sure supporters know where to go on election day. and vladimir wanted to be sure to be part of it. arranging his work schedule to be here. >> i am working from about 5:00 p.m. until midnight tonight but i'm taking off midnight to 7:00 a.m. which i was also offered because i want to be here all day tomorrow. >> reporter: he came from philly. john thnathan taylor from bolin, kentucky. >> we set our own goals, more than the day previous. >> reporter: they've been achieving that. >> i really believe strongly in hillary clinton. >> reporter: hillary clinton volunteers are working to get her supporters to the polls. >> it's all hands on deck. >> reporter: the work here is taking on special meaning. knowing new jersey could push clinton over the edge to secure the nomination. >> will be our state, you know, won't matter what happens, you know, in california. although we want to owin. we're competitive. it will be new jersey.

>> reporter: on the republican side, though, the party already has a presumptive nominee and in camden county the republican party chair says that and other uncontested primary race are allowing them to save resources. >> hopefully we can conserve some energy both in terms of finances that otherwise would have to go into a primary fight and also the human capital. >> reporter: now, if you are registered to vote here in new jersey, but you are not affiliated with a party, you can actually still vote in the primary tomorrow. i checked with the state on this and here's what you have to do. you can go to the polls and then declare your affiliation there. become a republican, you can become a democrat. and then you can vote. live in voorhees, laura mayk, nbc 10 news. >> thank you. the white house says president obama's presidential endorsement could come this week. right now hillary clinton is very close to becoming the democratic party nominee, but she still says, quote, it's not over until it's over. she's holing a rally that's expected to start any minute in

south los angeles. on the other hand, bernie sanders held a news conference in northern california this afternoon. sanders repeatedly said these committed to grabbing as many delegates tomorrow and then he'll reassess his campaign strategy. california and new jersey are two of the six states where voters will head to the polls tomorrow. in new jersey, polls open at 6:00 a.m. to look up your polling place, check your registration status, go to nbc 10 app i should say and look for decision 2016. we'll be with both parties tomorrow night on nbc 10 news at 11 as the results come rolling in. talk about the weather now. it's a nice warm night to eat dinner outside. there are showers in parts of the area that we're keeping an eye on. this is a live look from our kimmel center campus camera on broad street. beautiful day out there. nbc 10 chief meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz joins us with this first alert forecast. hey, glenn. >> hey, keith. yeah, most of us are not going to get rained on tonight. or tomorrow.

but there are some showers that will be in the area. a lot of sunshine in philadelphia now at 85 degrees. and we're seeing a little bit more cloud cover overall in the lehigh valley this afternoon. but temperatures in the 80s just about everywhere. hardly any showers. we got one heavier shower, but it's west of harrisburg. the question is whether it's going to hold together. this one shower that was headed toward allentown has pretty much fallen apart so that's kind of thing that we're expecting. generally dry conditions. we go through the evening, fair amount of clouds overnight tonight and not all that cool, but we're not going to be seeing much in the way of any kind of showers even in new jersey we're seeing 68 degree business tomorrow morning. it's going to be a warm start to a warm day, but we have much cooler air on the way and i'll let you know about that with the rest of the forecast in a few minutes. >> looking forward to that, glenn. an fbi sting landed two local men behind bars in a child porn bust. prosecutors charged two from

pennsylvania with possessing and distributing child pornography. one is from philadelphia and jacob torres lives in allentown. fbi agents searched both their homes last week and found computer files with suspected child porn. the attorney general's child predator section has arrested 43 suspected child predators this year. to this now. the hunt is on for a south philadelphia man wanted for the murder of a 78-year-old last week. an arrest warrant issued for quintis clark. he broke into the victim's home before killing him. police say clark was seen getting out of joseph daly's missing blue van. he was killed last week inside his theodore street home. investigators found daly strangled and beaten to death in the living room. there's a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. we have new information about the unsolved murder of a truck driver in delaware county. there's an arrest warrant out for a north carolina man wanted in the death of thomas child,

almost a year ago in yeadon. police say rodney shelton all e allegedalleg allegedly shot and killed child for less than there a$30 and a phone. police discovered the evidence in nearby fernwood cemetery. could it be deja vu in pennsylvania? tom wolf can't predict whether they'll have a new budget in place. negotiators are trying to make sure it's not a long stalemate last year when pennsylvania went more than eight months without a bumgts. school leaders warn they may need to raise taxes, eliminate programs and cut jobs zblmp job coming up next on "nbc 10 news at 6" the showboat back in business and back to work in a.c. we have new information about a job fair tomorrow. plus what it's like to walk to school in one of the nation's roughest neighborhoods. school leaders wanted to find out firsthand. that's next.

the superintendent says the state models for school transit funding is not one size fits all. new jersey doesn't subsidize transportation costs for students who live within 2 1/2 miles to school or k-8 students who live within two miles admitting those kids have to walk. >> people start fighting and stuff when you walk, you never know what's going to happen. they start shooting, more people start fighting. if i was in a car or on a bus, i wouldn't have to two through this. it's unfair to people that just want to get to school and get home. >> the home fpe for those takin part in today's walk is for state funding so more kids in camden can take the bus to and from school. get your resumes ready. showboat is re-opening and hiring asap. there's a job fair actually happening tomorrow. the atlantic city casino -- hotel and casino closed august of 2014. more than 2,000 employees lost their swrjobs.

the showboat is only opening as a hotel and not a casino now. ted greenberg explains what's happening tomorrow. >> reporter: progress outside atlantic city's closed showboat casino. inside, joel ogilvy says there are finally good vibes. >> coming back, everybody's getting excited again. >> reporter: the fire safety officer is one of just a handful of showboat workers who remained employed after its shutdown nearly two years ago and stockton university's failed effort to use the property as its island campus. >> it's been a lot of up and downs. >> reporter: new owner, bart bla blatsein and new company are set to re-open showboat next month with hotel rooms but not a casino. a job fair held tomorrow to fill close to 200 positions. >> we watched a lot of people leave. it was heartbreaking and it see, maybe hopefully see some people

lehigh valley. bethlehem at 84. easton 84. nazareth 83 degrees right now. and really not much on the radar. we had a couple little showers headed in the general election of lehigh valley. they've pretty much fallen apart. we have a little more activity around the great lakes, upper air system with some very cold air aloft. that could help trigger some showers, especially on wednesday. but a few showers around tuesday and into wednesday as we take a look at the futurecast. we're dry by tomorrow morning. and then with the heating of the day, just some isolated showers popping up across the area. your chance of getting rained on is pretty small. but there will be some around. then it all weakens tomorrow night as the sun goes town and then wednesday, we start to see a little bit more activity, maybe even some in the morning as that upper air system comes through. trigger a few showers. and maybe even a thunderstorm. but we're also not seeing a

whole lot of activity with that, at least according to our computer models. we are seeing temperatures drop, though. we got up to 86 today. 87 tomorrow. then look at that. 71 on wednesday. 76 on thursday. the average high is now up to 80 degrees. in philadelphia. we have our third tropical storm of the season already. and it's just the beginning of june. this is colin. and we've never gotten up to the "c" storm this early before. see the rain coming all way up to north carolina. we've got 50 mile an hour maximum winds here. moving pretty fast and that's good because it's got a lot of rain and it's going it be moving right out to sea and that, of course, is good news for most of us. now tomorrow, just a chance of some showers. the best chance in the p.a. suburbs, lehigh valley, reading, allentown with more like a 30% chance of anybody getting rained

on. jersey shore, it's going to be warm again with the land breeze. strong west wind. look at the temperature drop as we go from tomorrow to wednesday. lehigh valley goes from 84 to 68 for high temperatures. jersey shore drops l 86 to 72. delaware 86 to 73. and the ten-day forecast shows that temperature drop in philadelphia, beautiful but cool day thursday. then we start warming up as we head through the weekend. chance of some showers saturday night. but not a bad weekend at all. then back into the 80s early next week. all right, "hurricane." thanks. did fletcher cox and darren sproles show up for minicamp? and charles barkley on what he would have done to a fan throwing a beer bottle at him. that is next.
