rainbow flag colors and that happened in toronto and in front of city hall. anyway, this is one of those things that you hear about it and shake your head and think what in the heck is going on? >> honestly, i don't know why people are surprised anymore. this is what they say they're going to do, they said where they were going to do it and they said when, in the month of ramadan. so i -- sadly it's becoming so common even though this was the biggest and the worst. it's -- you know, we have to pay attention to these signs. >> yes. we do have to pay attention. so our thoughts and prayers, as we were saying, go out to the families of those who lost. >> and people still suffering in the hospital. >> many people may not make it out of the hospital. so lord have mercy on us all. it was kind of hard to watch the tony's after that last night. but we always do pick up and continue with life and so many people's lives were de-pendent

the tony's last night. not just that james i think is a perfect host. >> he was great. >> but i loved when they would take the other cast outside on the street for just a few -- like 30 seconds. they would sing a number from somebody else's show and then tease their upcoming performance. the joy and the exuberance that -- they get to make their living doing what they love to do. >> and the fans were outside so they weren't performing -- sometimes you must be performing scared instead they were outside and you felt like they were letting it rip out there. when lin-manuel miranda. as you know "hamilton" won a ton of awards. >> they won 11 out of the 16 they were nominated for. >> he got up to accept the award i think for best score. you wondered what he was going to say. he pulled out a piece of paper and he said he didn't want to free style so take a look at his speech. >> when senseless acts of tragedy remind us that nothing here is promise, hope and love lasts longer and love is love is
