temperatures will continue to stay all week long. right now in philadelphia 84 degrees is the temperature, south wind at 13 miles an hour so that warm wind direction is going to keep up warm as we go through the rest of the evening. the rest of the area sitting in the 80s, 78 degrees in delaware, mid 80s on the map. we do have rain in the forecast as we go into tomorrow. not tonight, though, we will stay nice and dry. the rain is farther back off to our west right around areas like chicago, st. louis down to atlanta and some could move in as early as tomorrow evening. we will take a look at that forecast and th the way to your 4th of july week and some showers in that weekend we will show you that, too, coming up. the excitement and anticipation is building for the biggest 4th of july celebration in town. here is a live look at the benjamin franklin park way where you will be able to watch the wawa welcome america july 4th concert and fireworks

concert the singer mistakenly said dorman had died from his injuries ♪ >> and there was a big push on social media to get chesney to give a shout out to the officer who was supposed to attend his show. chesney tweeted about the call saying he's doing great, told him we'd watch an eagles game and have beers one day. here is to a speedy recovery. officer dorman was shot seven times while responding to a drug call friday morning. he's expected to make a full recovery. the suspected shooter, donte island, remains behind bars charged with attempted murder. court records show he served years in prison on federal gun charges. we have new information about the deadly floods in west virginia. authorities say the missing have been accounted for in all but one county. officials say they will now turn their attention to recovery efforts. at least 24 people are dead and

many more are left homeless. the deluge tore through roads and bridges and nookd out utilities that shil haven't been restored in some communities. making matters worse more heavy rain is expected in some of those same areas. a woman is recovering after she nearly drowned off the coast in atlantic city.hgzn it happened around 7:30 last night near the jet gee off the 500 block of thetgql boardwalk. authorities say she was struggling to stay afloat after getting caught in a rip current. an atlantic city firefighter and a police officer were able to pull kahn to safety. a philadelphia man is in critical condition after he was shot six times. that shooting happened on bell field avenue in the city's logan section around 10:00 this morning. xñ taken einstein medical center. no arrests have been made.

police in north jersey are still searching for the person responsible for running down and killing the cousin of the 76ers first overall pick ben simmons. 21-year-old zackhary simmons was struck and killed saturday morning in hoboken. police say the suv that hit him left the scene. the victim's mother says the police told her the suv was traveling at least 70 miles an hour at that time. the speed limit, 25 miles an hour. and simmons tweeted this picture with his cousin who was with him at thursday's nba draft with the #rip zackhary simmons. in university city today a celebration of life and family, the 20th annual fetal surgery family reunion was held at children's hospital of philadelphia. 1700 people were there and this year's reunion was carnival themed complete with a carousel and games to play. nearly all of the 350 kids were
