11 spot how tight that made it. all the way down to aj allmendinger in 20th, only out by 16 points. >> the small things make a big difference. ryan newman, even though his car was wrecked was able to get a decent finish keeping him in the top 15. he was one of the many cars involved there in that wreck. >> brad keselowksi just bringing the 2 into victory lane. hallowed ground at this racetrack if you can get into victory lane here. that is a huge accomplishment. brad keselowksi, you can tell in his voice, he is a sprint cup champion. winning the highest possible thing you can win in racing, stock car racing. he felt great about the fact that he won at daytona. >> he is just unbuckling now getting ready to get out of the race car.

confetti flies as he is getting showered by his sponsor. the winner for the first time at daytona, brad keselowksi. he has had so much success at restrictor plate racing all at talladega and finally now his first daytona victory. he is being celebrated now by his team, the 100th win for team penske. brad is enjoying it. how did you hold off the busch brothers and your teammates? >> those guys were doing a heck of a job, kyle and kurt worked together really well. my teammates were a huge part of this. we worked together really well. joey won here. he is really a pro, especially on the restart. he gave me the push i needed to get to the front. i don't care. it is daytona. this is huge. i love this place. here we are in victory lane with the detroit ford. god, it is crazy.

>> what has it been like being so successful at talladega but up until now not being able to get here? >> it has been a kick in the you know what. i doubted myself here. we came here for the 500 and we ran like dog crap. my team worked on it. i did not give up on them. i believed in them. they believed in me. it really showed today with a great effort. i am really proud. >> we saw it in the closing laps, you had a decision to make which line to pick. we know how critical the restart was. what was going through your mind? >> my teammates, joey logano. i knew he worked with me. i knew he was really good with this. having a great teammate is an awesome thing. >> congratulations. >> thank you guys. happy independence day everybody. >> brad keselowksi celebrating the fourth of july in a big way, his 20th win of his career and the 100th for team penske. >> all smiles for brad keselowksi and team. 27 different lead changes

biggest birthday blast. as we move closer to the fourth of july. thanks for joining us. tonight the u.s. army banned concert at a waterwork fireworks show entertained crowds. for this celebration of freedom and of service. andrea. >> reporter: that's really what made tonight so special. and people started showing up hours before the concert and the fireworks to make sure they claim a good spot. the delaware river served as a scenic back drop as a united states army band took the stage. >> you can't beat this night. >> reporter: cool temperatures just accented the ambience and anticipation. >> lived here eight years and never missed out on a concert. >> gives a laut more to do and more of the city to feel out. >> reporter: patriotic songs were a fitting tribute at today's independence day concert that honored the troops. even the 76ers mascot got in on the action, taking over as the conductor. >> sitting here listening to music and have a good time. >> reporter: but the fireworks set off from a barge in the river marked a crescendo of the evening. it sets the independence day celebrations apart from others, fitting since this is where it all started. all right. as you can see, a lot of people are out here having a great time. >> mom, i'm on tv. >> reporter: that's the great part about this july fourth celebration. it brings everybody out. and the best part is that so many of these events are taking place and where people don't have to spend very much money at all. nbc 10 news. >> all right. thanks. well, tonight's water front fireworks show gives us a taste of the fun to come. the july 4th fireworks. live 10:00, right here on nbc 10. that is after the july 4th concert which will feature five hours of live music. here on nbc 10 and on telemundo 62. here's a live look at the concert stage on the ben escape the flames. the couple was using a meat smoker on the back deck to cook food for a party when a propain tank exploded. they were well known in the community and a popular hoeingy shack. the cause of the fire has been ruled accidental. up next, hillary clinton getting questioned about her email scandal. hey, i'm danny. we'll explain why and after four consecutive rocky starts, signs of progress. we'll see if it was einfnough.

tonight isis is claiming responsibility for a deadly attack in bangladesh's capital city. a u.s. citizen was among 20 hostages killed when a group of heavily armed terrorists stormed an upscale restaurant. recite verses from the quran or face consequences. six of the attackers were killed when government forces stormed the restaurant. another was arrested. the recent terror attacks in bangladesh, istanbul and orlando have people on high alert. america's largest cities and busiest airports will be heavily armed with officers and they're worried about the busy highways because it's one of the deadliest of the year for

by fbi agents behind closed doors as they investigate her use of email while secretary of state. the interview was voluntary. they questioned her for three and half hours in washington d.c. today, clinton spoke exclusively to nbc. >> i will continue to be as forthcoming as i can and my answers that i first gave more than a year ago i stand by. >> reporter: donald trump boldly predicting criminal charges for clinton. donald trump is not trying yet to win the white house. newt gingrich is being formally vetted as the running mate. >> they have first rate people to look at and in the end it's up to mr. trump. >> he's set to officially become the nominee at the republican convention on july 18th.

78 in the lee high valley, as well as delaware. and the winds will be dimini diminishing as we move through the overnight. high pressure to our west. we're dry for now and fairly clear. but we pull wide and you can see severe weather happening in the central part of the country and the low pressure systems are going to be running along the warm front that's going to lift to the mid-atlantic and the north. that's where we run into the chance of shower activity late monday into tuesday morning. the long-range models showing us -- this particular model anyway, monday morning at 10:00 a.m., could have light shower activity squeaking in south of philadelphia mid-day. high pressure will push off the coast allowing that to come in. but after 3:00/4:00 p.m., there is a slight chance that fill

after swimming to 200 yesterday, he was fourth at the turn. have a look. nothing like a strong finish. he winds it with a time of 51 seconds flat. 1/10 of a second better than tom shields who also qualifies.
