the delays that they're already dealing with when we smelled something burning and saw firefighters. after more than an hour of waiting on a septa train, peggy hefnur finally made it to her stop in wind wood. how does it feel to be back. >> much better. >> reporter: brush fires called big delays during rush hour this afternoon. here's a photo of flames at one septa stop. it's on top of the delays passengers were experiences for the second straight evening, after more than 100 rail cars were pulled from service. >> i think kind of like getting up early to get to work on time, and that's, that still hinders me, because i get to work late. >> reporter: nbc 10 learned the fire sparked around 4:00 this

police do say that 12 people were arrested. keith jones, nbc 10 news. a 13 year old boy is recovering tonight after he was shot during a road rage incident in hunting park. it all started when a woman in a car headed southbound and almost hit a person late last night. the woman inside the car got into a shouting match with the people on the treat before driving off. but police say that car returned and the man jumped out and fired eight shots before the car drove off. the boy's mother wanting the driver and shooter caught and punished. >> and if i catch her before the law, then i will bite her head off like i'm a pit bull. >> the boy was hit in the leg and arm and is expected to be okay. we have breaking news in philadelphia where police right now are on the scene of a shooting that injured a 14 year old girl.

skyforce 10 over the 4,000 block of o street. the teenager was hit in the leg and taken to st. christopher's hospital. no word exactly on her condition and no word on any arrests right no now. it's back to a montgomery county courtroom for bill cosby tomorrow. his lawyers will argue that andrea constand should be forced to testify in pretrial hearings. instead, her statement was read to the court. cosby is accused of drugging and sexually abusing constand in 2004. the justice department's investigation into hillary clinton's e-mail setup is officially closed tonight. u.s. attorney general loretta lynch says she accepts the fbi's recommendation not to charge clinton. she promised last week he would accept whatever findings there were in the case. just a minu james comey will testify before congress tomorrow.

places where a lot of concrete, from northern delaware through the philadelphia area, all the way up through trenton. at this hour, it's still 82 degrees in philadelphia and dover. 8 80 in allentown. when you see temperatures like this at 11:00 at night, you know you have a warm air mass. this is in western pennsylvania, and it's moving to the east. so that's why we do have the threat of showers and storms in the forecast for tomorrow. and some of you may actually be happy to see that because we've got even hotter air moving in. today we were in the mid-90s. felt like 98, 97 thursday and friday, feeling like about 104. several degrees hotter than today. 6 degrees hotter is the way it's going to feel.

it will feel more like 97. some of those cooling thunderstorms coming in in the afternoon even thursdon thursda chances of getting hit are well below 50/50. then it all dies down thursday night and builds back up on friday, as the front approaches. again, not in the morning so much as later in the day and into the evening hours. some scattered showers and thunderstorms. and going to need some of that to cool things off. look at these temperatures with the scattered showers. probably no storms on saturday in the ficphiladelphia itself. maybe not even to 90 degrees in the lehigh valley.
