looking. jessica boyington. one lane getting by. you can see north and southbound with no problems. also an accident at norristown on main street and franklin street if you are taking route 202, no big problems or delays. 11 minutes northbound from route 30 to the schuylkill expressway. >> jessica, thanks. let's talk about the ride to work. 402. septa's regional rail slowdowns enter their second week. there are changes that will make the morning commute better. katy zachary is live to explain at the melrose station. >> reporter: septa announced these changes last night. there is a good chance people might not realize on their local line, additional trains are going to be running. they are clearly marked here on

septa's website. they display what additional lines have these extra train cars. these will be in place for the foreseeable future. we know septa has worked out a deal with amtrak, new jersey and marriage to borrow their cars which add some additional 1700 seats for riders. this is important because they had to take a third of their trains out of service because of the structural defect. that meant trains and platforms were crowded with frustrated drivers, some that had to wait hours for a train. starting this morning, 12 septa regional rail lines will have additional cars and service. coming up, i'll check in with a representative who is working to see how this new int decks of these train cars is going at this early hour. reporting live, katy zachary,

nbc 10 news. >> you can stay up to the minute on the nbc10.com app. four minutes past 4:00. a philadelphia firefighter is in the hospital after being hurt at this house fire in the wynnefield neighborhood. this is video of the fifth straight night of protest in philadelphia against police brutality. last night's demonstrators shut down streets in center city. members of black lives matter say they won't give up until they see change. dozens of them marched from west philadelphia to the delaware river. police cleared for them. the ungoing unrest is still exposing division within the city. >> we need to keep causing a

commotion and yelling and demanding justice be done. >> you protest the police that got shot in the face, the five in dallas. respect our police. >> last night's protest was smaller and less tense than the one on saturday when demonstrators taunted police with insults. con frn tations between police and protesters continue across the country. last night in baton rouge, officers came face to face with hundreds of shouting demonstrators. hundreds rallied outside the state capitol. they protested killing of african-americans. protesters managed to block a bridge for several hours in memphis. hundreds of members of black lives matter when they veered through a bear okayed and on to a bridge. the national bar association

is offering to help people arrested during the weekend protest. they want to know why the protesters were arrested on state charges which require a bond before they can be released. the lawyers say city charges could have applied which sets bonds automatically without a judge it could have been much worse, the word from officials in dallas, who are learning more about the sniper that ambushed and killed five police officers thursday night. they said micah johnson practiced setting off explosives and talked about using roadside bombs during the standoff. the dallas police chief revealed that he scrolled the letters rb in his own blood on the walls of the parking garage where s.w.a.t. teams cornered and killed him. they are trying to figure out what rb stand for. >> this is a person who was well-prepared, thinking ahead, talking about shooting tactics. that's important.

we had on the scene information from witnesses about shooting from different places. detectives found a personal arsenal at the home he shared with his mother and practiced combat drills in his back yards. a man charged with murder in south jersey is being held on $1 million in a south jersey jail. he shot and killed a man and stole the victim's car. he shot and killed the 24-year-old man on saturday. he abandoned the car with the 1-year-old inside here at fifth and wood streets in center city. the little boy wasn't hurt. the motive for the killing is still not clear. had two children are in the hospital after being hit by a car while riding bikes. sky 4 is over the scene. you can see crews towing away an suv. the 14-year-old boys were riding

it is 4:13. if you are a senior that drives, which states are the most dangerous for you. a study shows rhode island is the most dangerous. the least is new mexico, based on the percentage of older drivers killed in car accidents every year. only illinois and new hampshire require a refresher road test at age 75. pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware were not highly ranked. pennsylvania senior drivers have an option to renew their licenses every two years instead of every four. delaware senior vs. to pass a

vision test to renew. new jersey has no specific rules for older drivers to renew their licenses. two campers from alabama face charges from this wild fire, leaving their camp pir smolder ng hot, dry and windy conditions. six buildings were destroyed and 30 more homes in danger. the fire is not contained. 2000 have been evacuated. a pilot and his small daughter will be okay after their small plane crashed into a lake. the father radioed he was having engine trouble moments after takeoff. the fisherman called 911 and rushed to help. >> she was nine years old. when we pulled her out, she was just crying uncontrollably. the faa says it is up to the owner of the plane to remove the aircraft from the lake.

the navy is revising the number of medals awarded to chris kyle, known for p writing the book "american sniper." after routine review of his discharge paperwork, he won one silver and four bronze. in his book, he wrote two silver and five bronze stars. they say mistakes in discharge paperwork are common. he was shot and killed by a former marine at a texas shooting range in 2013. police in philadelphia are looking into a series of armed robberies where the suspects targeted their victims using a new smartphone app. they tweeted a warning about the misuse of pokemon app. police have this advice, if you or your kids are playing, make sure to warn are kids about stranger danger, set limits on how far they can go while

playing and make sure they watch the road. they have seen adults and kids get so engrossed while staring at their phones to play the game, they walk right into the street. the pittsburgh symphony orchestra came to concert park to give concert-goers a pokemon experience like no other. we were there for the sin fonic evolution. they tied together music and videos. pokemon go is now the most popular app downloaded from the itunes store and the fans are in a frenzy. >> people are coming up and going, have you battled with jim or what pokemon have you got? >> it involves pokemon characters hidden in read world and players trying to find them.
