saturday. nbc 10 was there as they paid a visit to a still-growing memorial for the slain officers outside dallas police headquarters. today's heavy rains caused a traffic nightmare in lancaster county. flash flooding forced the closure of route 30. several people had to be rescued from their cars. the good news is that the water's starting to recede. we go to our first alert neighborhood weather. the big story is the heat. >> that's right. the heat starting tomorrow with the humidity continuing as we go into friday. so we have a first alert out for pennsylvania, new jersey, and delaware, basically, the entire area. this is going to be from 12:00 p.m. tomorrow to 8:00 p.m. friday. this encompasses basically the rest of your week, because temperatures with humidity will make it feel around 100 degrees as we go into the next couple of days, so it's going to be a hot one out there. excessive heat warning from

wilmington to trenton. we're looking at potentially dangerous heat in the forecast. you want to avoid being outside for a prolonged period of time. don't leave children or pets in the car, way too hot for that. we'll take a look at how this is going to play into your weekend forecast and a chance for showers. new at 11:00, a doctor arrested on the main line, accused of inappropriately touching a patient. drew smith is live outside the doctor's office. some of the details here very disturbing. >> reporter: yeah, that's right, jim. a woman claims that dr. andre posner pulled down her paptsds while she was on an exam table. then she felt his mouth on her backside. people inside the center for

preventive medicine where dr. andre posner's office is housed described him as a good guy and doctor. they didn't know enough about the case against him to comment further, but people in this community are upset. >> i'm shocked. >> reporter: today in court, a judge heard the allegations of a woman who went for an appointment in april. she was face down on a table when the doctor began rubbing her. >> i hope it's not true, because it's gross if it is. >> reporter: she claims she felt facial stubble and lips on her bottom. she ran out of the locked office where no one else was working at the time. >> i think if i walked into a doctor's office, and there was nobody else there i wouldn't go in there and let him shut the door. >> reporter: posner's pictured on the website.

penn would not comment on personnel matters. we checked, and according to the department of state, his medical license is suspended. we asked posner and his attorney for a statement, but we haven't heard back. now to decision 2016. news tonight, a new poll shows the race between hillary clinton and donald trump is getting closer here in pennsylvania. clinton leads trump 45% to 36%. in the nbc news maris poll, with 19% of voters undecided. that's a change from last month, when clinton held a 54% to 39% lead. and this comes in the aftermath of the fbi director comey not recommending charges.

trump is nearing a decision on a running mate. he will announce the vp pick friday at 11:00 a.m. in manhattan. finalists include newt gingrich and governor pence. we know some names on clinton's list. and they include senator elizabeth warren, tim kaine and sherrod brown. last call for alcohol is 2:00 a.m. in pennsylvania, but not during the democratic convention. bars can apply to stay open until 4:00 a.m. during the days the convention is in town later this month. the catch? bars will have to prove they're involved with convention events. uber has been given the green light in philadelphia. state lawmakers passed the fiscal code bill which allows ride sharing businesses to

operate through september. the governor is expected to sign that bill into law. the republican national convention is just five days away, and there are last-minute security changes in the wake of the ambush in dallas to tell you about. it's legal to openly carry, but two rounds of security will surround the convention center. the secret service will control the secure zone inside and directly around it where no guns will be allowed. outside that zone, anyone with an open carry license is free to carry. police brutality is bad. why would we stand for that? >> this tee shirt led to a controversy at a local shopping mall, it reads, this has to stop with a picture of a police beating. why the store owner was told to take it off the shelves. also crime in church. how police say this man targeted a house of god. and pokemon in philadelphia. how the craze is sweeping a

this has to stop. it's not geared to any race, no color. >> new at 11:00, this tee shirt is at the center of a controversy at cherry hill mall. the mall asked the mer chant to stop selling it. but the business owner says the shirt shows anti-police brutality, not anti-police. as brandon hudson report, the mall is doing an about face. but the merchant isn't satisfied. >> reporter: as of now, the business owner says he won't step foot into cherry hill mall. he felt disrespected when the mall told him to take down the shirts, which he feels is a positive message. nbc 10 spoke with amir miller

china's censorship rules prohibit movies that promote cults or superstition. definitely want to stay hydrated and want the water with you. we have a first alert out for pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware because of extreme heat. so the time frame for the first alert, that's 12:00 p.m. tomorrow till 8:00 p.m. friday. temperatures in the mid-90s and humidity, it's going to feel around 100 degrees and be hot. the excessive heat warping goes from lancaster county to mercer county and areas in between. surrounding that, there's a heat advisory. this basically means temperatures will be in the mid-90s, feeling anywhere from 100 to 104 degrees. radar. from the rain we saw today, that has cleared out. so we are dry on radar, a few showers well off to the west.

tomorrow we could see an afternoon shower, but basically the whole theme of tomorrow is going to be very hot and humid. if you compare that today, we got to 84 degrees, maybe felt a couple degrees warmer. friday, 94, feeling like 100. saturday, low 90s, not feeling like triple digits on saturday. humidity is going to drop a little going into the weekend. we're humid, we're warm in the afternoon. hot and humid. can't rule out a couple showers around. then we go into friday, another day where we're mostly dry, hot and humid. and there is a chance the models trying to pick up on showers mostly south of philadelphia. 92 chestnut hill. if you're in galloway, 92 degredegre degrees as well as dover and wilmington. 94 for philadelphia for friday. saturday, we're looking at temperatures still around 90

degrees, but the humidity's going to be a bit lower, by sunday, showers could be moving into parts of new jersey and delaware in the afternoon. but temperature wise, we're going to stay around 90 degrees for the most part, but less humidity saturday and sunday, that would technically be a heat wave, starting with tomorrow, going into pryour weekend. saturday, 85 and on sunday, 84 degrees. there is that chance that we could see a shower along the shore. looks to be mainly south of philadelphia. until we get to the weekend, remember the excessive heat, you want to stay hydrated. potentially dangerous. and never leave children or animals in the car. way too hot for that. the pokemon go craze is sweeping the nation, and the philadelphia art museum is jumping right on board. tonight the museum held a promotion centered around the virtual creatures. they offered people to pay what

this solar-powered plane is nearing the end of its round the world journey. the "solar impulse" two landed in cairo, egypt.
