lansdale, 90s this afternoon and 93 for easton. plenty of sunshine at new jersey, at the shore, 89 degrees, wilmington warms to 94 degrees this afternoon. i'll go through the forecast hour by hour when i'm back in a few minutes. let's see how the traffic is looking this morning. jessica boyington has your first alert traffic. >> thanks, bill. we are watching an accident scene in collegeville this morning, east main street and east 4th avenue. watch out for that. checking in with the vine street expressway, we are open, this morning, of course, no construction, westbound and eastbound. we are not going to see this construction all week long because of the dnc being around. as you can see, actually if you look over in this direction, there is police activity. that's approaching 95. that's one of the police checkpoints for the five-ton vehicle restrictions. no problems or delays because of that. 95 and the schuylkill expressway have no problems into center city right now. 13 minutes at the most, southbound from woodhaven road to the vine street expressway. no problems on the blue route either, 15 minutes there from the schuylkill to 95. tracy? ç

>> of course, this is a diversion that's being pushed by the hillary campaign. the real story is what the e-mails contain. >> on friday, wikileaks released thousands of dnc e-mailsç with some appearing to show the party trying to undermine sanders. several cyber security experts told nbc news that the e-mails were hacked by russian intelligence. and now to breaking news, nbc 10's katy zachry is following that and other stories we're following for you today. katy? >> that's right, tracy and vai. the daughter of a philadelphia police officer is the victim of a carjacking this morning. right now, officers are still looking for the two teenage suspects who rode up to her on bicycles armed with guns. police spotted the stolen vehicle and began to chase after it. the car hit eight parked cars along springfield avenue in west philadelphia. the two teenagers got out and ran away.

police say they found two guns in the car. the carjacking victim was not hurt. the search, though, continues for the two carjackers, one of them may have head injuries from the crash. this morning, the floodwaters are gone but there's still a lot of cleanup to be done. the rain came down fast and furiously all over our region. that led to flash flooding. drivers quickly became frustrated when they found their way home blocked or slow, they couldn't even get home in somications. a septa bus and car were under water in bensalem, bucks county. everyone did get out safely. trees also came down. a neighbor in philadelphia's overbrook section heard one fall. >> i heard some crinkling out here, really loud, then i heard a boom, next thing i know the tree was in the street. >> on martin luther king drive, ponding slowed down drivers going through fairmont park and

along the schuylkill expressway. your eyes are not deceiving you. that's a hail storm in july. viewers capture hail coming down fast, setting off car alarms in montgomery county. bill henley, more heat is on tap for today but what about more storms? >> storms are out of the picture, no. we see the moisture, though, coming back at us as a bit of fog in some of the areas this morning. this is easton. you can see light fog there. the temperatures have cooled into the 70s for south jersey, philadelphia and delaware but even cooler in the suburbs, in the lehigh valley and this is where we're seeing the fog as a result with those cooler temperatures. leesport is 69, white hall 66. into the 90s this afternoon and that will do away with any fog but at this hour with cooling temperatures and lots of moisture left over from yesterday's storms, the fog is down to half a mile visibility in hazleton. light fog in reading this morning.

the rest of the area is fog-free. we will see a quick warmup today, into the 90s. philadelphia, 77 degrees at 7:00. sunshine and 88 degrees at 11:00 and 93 degrees at 3:00 this afternoon. the suburbs, 85 degrees by lunch time and 90 degrees later today. and the lehigh valley, look at the sunshine, bright sunshine, middle 80s at 11:00. 90s, low 90s this afternoon. but the humidity will also be lower during the day today. drier air is coming in on winds out of the northwest that will be bringing in that drier air and you'll feel it even more so this evening. upper 80s at 11:00 for delaware, 92 degrees this afternoon for new jersey and the shore. you'll see 70s warm into the 80s and both areas will top out in the low 90s this afternoon. just a little bit warmer in interior new jersey. 89 degrees at 3:00, at the jersey shore, likely topping out at 90 degrees this afternoon. futurecast, hour by hour shows
