that's nice and low as well. 68 degrees right now in philadelphia. just a little bit of a breeze at 3 miles an hour. just like yesterday, we'll see an easterly breeze. not terribly strong. we will see temperatures climbing from the middle 60s at 10:00, low 80s at lunchtime. we'll be in the 80s this afternoon, mostly to partly sunny skies today. no sign of any showers today. that's philadelphia. the suburbs, a beautiful day yesterday, just a few scattered clouds. we'll see some of those, after clear skies, 53 degrees right now, the wind is calm, a light wind blowing out of the east at 10 miles an hour. at 10:00, 73 degrees. upper 70s, and near 80 degrees, a really comfortable day with the humidity staying low for the suburbs. and the lehigh valley, last few morning we started with fog, that's not happening this morning. clear, cooling down.

the man called 911 saying that a black bear that he sees every day ran to him and scratched him on the arm and ran into the woods. the bear is thought to be between 300 and 400 pounds. >> been seeing more recently. oh, man, a couple weeks ago, we saw one, they've been coming around. a lot more daring and bold, too. >> the man who said he was attacked by the bear was treated for minor injuries. go, go, go. >> that is just part of the video of what happened inside a burning jet in dubai as passengers scrambled to escape. this is the breaking news we brought you yesterday morning. the emirates plane landed and one firefighter on the ground died. all 82 passengers plus the crew on board escaped.

wind shear may have caused the accident. if more news from overseas, police in london say a man went on a rampage with a knife killing a woman and injuring another. police are calling it a possible terrorist attack. authorities have not identified him. authorities describe the police response. >> our officers arrived within the scene in five minutes. >> authorities suggested the suspect's mental health could be an issue. police said londoners will notice more armed officers on the street today for safety and peace of mind. more questions are popping up over a deal that the federal government made with iran. critics are accusing ransom to win the release of prisoners. according to "the wall street journal" the u.s. released $400 million in cash to iran the same

clothes on because i've been wearing two shirts for the past days. >> it's just not safe yet. hopefully, we'll be able to go back in later. >> torrential rain caused the flood that killed two people. parts of new mexico are under flash flood watches after severe weather hit that state yesterday. you can see the water rushing through the burn scar of a wildfire from earlier this summer. more heavy rain is expected tomorrow in the northwestern part of the state. and hurricane earl is now over belize and southeastern mexico. the category 1 storm made landfall overnight with sustained winds of 80 miles an hour. heavy rain is flooding communities along the caribbean coast. the national weather service forecast that the storm will lose strength as it moves into the interior of mexico. 16 minutes after 4:00.

a nice start this morning it will be comfortable. cape may completely dry right now. the short temperature, 65 degrees. cooling down lower, 60s in the suburbs. will likely drop to the 50s in the suburbs, possibly in the lehigh valley. philadelphia, delaware, south jersey really comfortable with low humidity during the day. yesterday, we were in the 70s. it will be in the 70s again. and satellite and radar, nothing to show you here again for a second day. the showers and thunderstorms completely out of the picture for our area. nearest storms are in -- well, just a few showers in virginia. the storms are much farther to the south. but, take a look at this. take a look at the storms that are raging through minnesota this morning and into canada. this is a line of storms that will bring us a possibility of wet weather as we head into the weekend. late friday night and especially

boyington where we're monitoring weather, where the construction will end, what time it will end, jessica has that. >> yes, we're still in the process of construction, tracy. we're looking at our cameras right around broad street. you see what's happening here, flashing lights up ahead and that's from that side. in between broad street and the schuylkill expressway right now, east and westbound. so, typically see it clear around the 5:00 hour. yesterday, we were way ahead of schedule and it cleared a little bit early. so, i'll update you on that in the next coming minutes or so. for now, let's watch construction. 95 to the ramp closed to broad street. delays on to 95 because of that. also the bridges, we have a scheduled opening on the burlington bristol, that was scheduled for 3:45 this morning. we're still in the process of that. watch for residual delay that should be on its way back down. other than that, the ben franklin bridge and the walt.
