carolina tonight, as the republican presidential candidate was speaking, an altercation broke out in the stands. security guards were trying to es koert protesters out of the arena when a man confronted the group. you can see him grab one of the protesters around his neck. security let him stay, and trump seemed unaware of the incident. instead he attacked hillary clinton for calling half his supporters, quote, a basket of deplorables. meantime, hillary clinton says tonight she's feeling better one day after revealing that she has pneumonia, but controversy continues to swirl over why it took so long for her campaign to reveal her diagnosis. the democratic presidential candidate spoke with cnn's anderson cooper tonight, telling him she didn't think her diagnosis was going to be that big of a deal. video showed her nearly collapsing, leaning on secret service agents here after abruptly leaving an 9/11 memorial service in manhattan yesterday. clinton denies fainting. >> i felt dizzy, and i did lose my balance for a minute. but once i got in, once i could

sit down, once i could cool off, once i had some water, i immediately started feeling better. >> clinton aides admit they did not give the public enough information right away about her condition and are promising to release more of her medical records. clinton says she'll be back on the campaign trail in the next couple of days. in just under eight hours, voters will begin heading to the polls for the primary election day in delaware. democrats and republicans will select their candidates for some of the state's most high-profile offices. that includes delaware's seat in congress, governor, and lieutenant governor, and mayor of wilmington. the polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 tomorrow night. if you're casting a ballot this election season, you might be tempted to document the moment with a selfie. but voter beware, it is illegal in some states. tomorrow an appeals court in boston will consider the issue for the first time. the case centers on a 2014 new hampshire law that makes it a crime for voters to take

pictures of their ballots and share them on social media. new hampshire is not the only state with a ban on voter selfies. there are a total of 26 states that do so, including pennsylvania. but they are allowed in delaware. the law is unclear in new jersey. skyforce10 over the scene of an accident, a car accident in merszer county. police say four people were hurt in this crash, one of whom is listed in critical condition at this hour. perhaps you can see there at least two cars up on the sidewalk. this happened within the last hour near broad street park avenue in hamilton township, and we're working to confirm what might have caused that crash. tax trouble on the main line. some neighbors say the lower merion school district is hiking their taxes when it already has millions in extra money. nbc 10's den niece na cano is live in ardmore. denise, questions about the board's fiscal transparency here too. >> reporter: that's right. one taxpayer saying tonight that this is a walkup call.

residents expressing concern about an increase in taxes when the lower merion school district is operating with a multimillion dollar budget surplus. lower merion taxpayers fired off criticism during tonight's school board meeting over increases in their taxes. >> it's a disgrace. >> you've lied to us for 10 full years. shame on you. >> reporter: in the past ten years, they've seen taxes go up, believing the school district budget was facing a deficit. now many are learning from a recent lawsuit the school district has a surplus. a $57 million budget surplus. >> then give us back our money. >> reporter: the author filed a lawsuit against the merion school district which wanted a 4% increase in school taxes. >> they deliberately overstated their expenses and deliberately understated their revenues so they could justify these tax increases. >> reporter: last month, the court ruled in his favor. the judge ordered the school district to rework its spending plan and said the schools couldn't hike taxes more than

2.4%. tonight others in the room voiced support for the lower merion school board and the superintendent, saying they're willing to pay the price for a good education no matter what the cost. >> i personally would rather those dollars go here than to the federal government. >> cutting is not going to do it. >> i believe the taxes i pay for education -- and i am retired -- will benefit not only the students' future, but my future with educated leaders. >> reporter: school district officials say the sur plus is needed to fund an uncertain future, including enrolement growth and pension costs. the school district is appealing the court's decision. now, wolk says that he's not in this for the money. if he gets any money from this lawsuit, he plans to donate 100% of it. denise na cano, nbc 10 news. speaking of schools, your kids could need a jacket at the bus stop tomorrow. sheena parveen. >> yeah, jim. just a light jacket for parts of

locally the diocese of camden is warning its students not to follow kaepernick's lead. superintendent mary boyle sent a moment mow reading, our schools are founded on the teaching of respect and honor. respect and honor for god, country, and duly appointed authority. the memo continues, we are not public institutions, and free speech and all of its demonstrations, including protests, is not a guaranteed right. failure to demonstrate appropriate respect will result in suspension from play. two games or dismissal from the team for subsequent offenses. camden public schools say they will not take action against students and coaches who protested during the anthem this weekend. all but two members of the woodrow high school team knelt. t the school district says it supports the team's freedom to express its first amendment right. new details.

police say bubble wrap and not gunfire was the source of a scare at valley forge military academy earlier this evening. officers gave the all-clear after students spent about an hour on lockdown. officials say a student at nearby eastern university reported hearing what she thought was the sound of gunshots. police later determined the cause was most likely that bubble wrap. >> while we can, you know, laugh about it now, it's a good thing that we're able to laugh about it and that there was no situation or no imminent threat taking place on either campus. >> all students have since resumed their normal routines. frightening flowers. new details about the threatening note police say a man delivered inside a bouquet. >> plus a local student learns a hard lesson. why he's banned from the same school that initially gave him acceptance. he's an eagle. he's a magician, and he's hoping to win "america's got talent." i'm jacqueline london live in los angeles. the story of jon dorenbos and how he made it to hollywood

tonight we have some new information in the case of a man who delivered flowers to a woman with a threatening message. police say this is surveillance video of the suspect, who made the delivery to a business on south 23rd street last month. new tonight, sources telling nbc 10 the flowers had a note with a biblical passage warning the victim to quit her job. the victim says she did not recognize the suspect. south jersey high school students being denied access to school after officials found out the student was transgender. 14-year-old mason catrambone originally applied to and was accepted into camden catholic high school as madeline. catrambone's parents asked the school to register their child as a male student, but the school declined, citing a contradiction with catholic teaching on gender identity. mason says he has no regrets about his decision. >> you can be so accepting of
