how the presidential candidate is defending himself. and act of political vandalism. why one local woman says her political views made her a target, and she's not the only one. >> announcer: nbc10 news starts now. right now at 11:00, a city in mourning, shaken by the loss of two teenagers killed in a crash on one of the deadliest roads in our area. we're talking about roosevelt boulevard. thanks for joining us. i'm jim rosenfield. >> and i'm jacqueline london. tonight there is disbelief among the victims' closest friends and anger at how this all started with a violent crime targeting the driver's father. >> nbc10's drew smith is live in ulny where that crash happened. >> reporter: dozens of people have come out tonight to pay their respects. you can see there are still people here right now adding to a memorial for these victims, who died on the way to help another victim of a beating attack earlier that night. >> friends gathered in the

neighborhood with usman zel november lived. >> he was a kind hearted kid, big heart. he was like family to us. >> the 19-year-old mechanic, known as a helper in this neighborhood, was always running to aid in emergencies. >> he had a really nice character to him. he was one of a kind. >> reporter: it's what he was doing overnight with 16-year-old maggie golaf, who also died. investigators say the driver of the car they were all in ran a red light on roosevelt boulevard in a rush to the hospital. just 45 minutes before the wreck, police pulled up on armed men attacking sheheen's father while he was delivering pizza at this nicetown intersection. >> it's sad. we need to make a change in philadelphia. >> reporter: dozens of teenagers spent the night leaving flowers and messages for their friends, who they had planned to be at a party with. >> we were supposed to hang out tonight. >> reporter: but instead they're gone. a new reality so tough to accept. >> it's sad that we lost them.

>> reporter: i also spoke to some delivery drivers in that same area where that driver's father was attacked. they told me that the deadly crash that -- i should say the robbery that led to this deadly crash happened all the time in that area. live in ulny, drew smith, nbc10 news. skyforce10 up over a traffic mess on i-95 in philadelphia. that continues tonight. state police say two crashes happened in the southbound lanes between woodhaven and academy roads. two lanes remain closed right now, and several minor injuries have been reported. breaking news out of north philadelphia. skyforce10 over the scene of a heavy police presence this is at front street and erie avenue. there were reports of a police-involved accident. we can see a man being loaded into an ambulance. traffic is shut down in that area. turning now to decision 2016. political proof? tonight we have the so-called evidence the trump campaign had

been promising all day. it offered "the new york post" an exclusive interview with a british man claiming to have been on a flight with one of the women who accused trump of sexual misconduct. he told the paper that assault never happened but offered no proof besides his memory. this all comes as two more women came forward, accusing trump of sexually harassing them. tonight the republican presidential nominee fought back, calling himself the victim. >> trump train! trump train! >> reporter: the north carolina crowd warmed untonight by several women supporting trump, including former apprentice contestant only rosa. >> it's not hard to find a small handful of people willing to make false smears. >> reporter: then the republican nominee told the gathering in charlotte he's the victim of character assassination. >> as you have seen, i am a victim of one of the great political smear campaigns in the history of our country. >> insisting the growing number of women now accusing him of

inappropriate behavior are making it all up. >> these allegations are 100% false, as everybody -- i think you know. >> he then grabbed my shoulder and began kissing me again very aggressively and placed his hand on my breast. >> this woman became the latest trump accuser today, describing a 2007 meeting with trump when she was looking for a job after expeditie competing of season 5 of the apprentice. >> i said get real. he repeated the words back to me as he began thrusting his genitals. >> the former contestant said she felt she had to come forward after hearing trump on that hot mike. which is also why kristin anderson says she told "the washington post" her story. anderson says she was groped by trump in the early '90s in a new york city club. trump didn't arrest either claim specifically tonight, claims nbc news has not been able to independently verify.

but trump told supporters the behavior being described is not in his character. >> not me, believe me. not me. >> as for hillary clinton, she attacked donald trump in particular his language aimed at women while appearing at a fund-raiser in seattle, washington, today. >> it's a shocker to me when i hear some of our fellow citizens led by my opponent degrade and demean so many other americans. >> this comes as wikileaks released more e-mails from the clinton campaign today. they reveal that her aides asked former president bill clinton to cancel a planned speech to a wall street investment firm. they were concerned the clintons would appear to cozy with wall street ahead of her announcing her run for president. and nbc news has learned the cia is preparing for an unprecedented cyber attack on russia. intelligence officials say it's in retaliation for russia's alleged interference in the presidential election in this country.

the kremlin has been blamed for several hacking incidents, including the dnc e-mails. the exact measures the cia could take are not known, but the president is said to be looking at all options. back here at home, time is running out for you to register to vote. pennsylvania's deadline has already come and gone. but if you live in delaware, you still have one more day. the deadline to register in the first state is tomorrow. you have a bit more time if you live in new jersey. that deadline is tuesday. new at 11:00, nbc10 has learned the kimmel center is in talks to purchase the iconic merriam theater in center city. an official for the kimmel center says the deal for the land mark theater on south broad street is worth $11 million. it's expected to be finalized next week. turning now to the weather. temperatures are dropping quickly as we take a live look at boat house row. you do need a jacket out there tonight. and some parts of our area could even wake up to some frost. >> for more on what to expect, let's check with glenn

"hurricane" schwartz. it's getting chilly out there. >> especially in some neighborhoods, the neighborhoods right in the city of philadelphia are not getting too cool. it's 56 degrees in philly now and in the 40s across much of the rest of the area. we are seeing temperatures getting close to the 40-degree mark already in some places. unionville at 43 degrees. 46 in phoenixville. 42 in collegeville. 41 in north wales. and in fort washington, 41 in bed minister. those are places are really going to be going down tonight. we've got a frost advisory across much of the area. but a huge warm-up on the way. more on that coming up. tonight we are learning more about the altercation that led to a teenage student's death. investigators say it all started with the 17-year-old was found with a stolen ipod last night at wordsworth academy. it's a school for students with behavioral issues. staffers say they were forced to restrain the teenager after he started fighting with them.

he died shortly thereafter. police are now waiting on autopsy results to determine what caused his death. new jersey drivers will soon have to pay more at the pump. it's official, and they're going to be paying a lot more. late this afternoon, governor chris christie signed a bill hiking the gas task 23 cents a gallon. it takes new jersey's gas tax from the 49th highest in the nation to the 6th. the new tax goes into effect november 1st. it will help pay for transportation projects. just days septa workers will decide whether or not to go on strike. it could impact trips to the polls on election day. the union representing bus drivers along with subway and trolley operators will hold a vote sunday. the strike would begin november 1st. the union says if there is a long strike, members will not return to work november 8th, which is election day. the union is demanding an increase in the amount where pensions are capped. completely off limits. the faa bans samsung galaxy note 7 phones from all u.s. flights.

we're following more breaking news tonight. skyforce10 is over a business in bucks county that's being evacuated because of a hazmat situation. this is pulse technologies on am drive in quakertown. the building is used to manufacture medical devices. everyone made it out safely. we'll bring you more information as soon as it becomes available. starting tomorrow, you will no longer be allowed to bring samsung galaxy note 7 phones on flights. the faa has issued an emergency ban on the phones that can catch fire. it goes into effect at noon tomorrow. samsung already recalled more than 2 million of these phones and discontinued the product earlier this week. those who defy that ban could face fines. we continue our decision

2016 coverage with an act of political vandalism. a delaware county woman says her political views made her a target. she woke up to find her lawn sign across the street and her car vandalized. >> but as nbc10's aundrea cline-thomas reports, in this divisive lxelection, she's not alone. >> we saw the eggshells. we saw the eggs all over it. we also saw that not only did they -- they did not stop there. >> desiree walker woke up to find her car egged, the front light damaged, and her brand-new hillary clinton lawn sign was uprooted and tossed across the street into a neighbor's yard. >> i'll still shell shocked. i'm shaken so my core. >> walker is a clinton campaign volunteer. she says her political sign made her a target. her neighbors' properties were not touched, but they don't have lawn signs out either. >> i just hope that people aren't getting the wrong kind of passion about their -- about the person that they want to support and take things to another

news. donald trump and hillary clinton will face off once more this coming week, the third and final presidential debate is next wednesday at the university of nevada, las vegas. nbc10's lauren make will be there to bring us live reports. i was honored to help host the naacp gala awards in philadelphia tonight. the annual event took place at the first district plaza on market street. it recognized people from the community who help continue the mission of the civil rights organization. philadelphia mayor jim kenney also spoke at the event, and the theme for this year's gala was a new society which addressed community renewal. >> needed a coat out there tonight to make it back to work? >> it was a little chilly out there. >> it's going to be chilly in the morning too, right, glenn? >> oh, yeah, the temperatures going to be down close to 10 degrees below what it is right now. that means 40s in the city of philadelphia and 30s in many of the outlying areas. but not all of philadelphia is in the 50s right now. it's 56 at the airport, 56 at

pens port. look at this. chestnut hill, only 45 degrees. park wood, 48. we have neighborhood forecasts because it varies right across the city, for example. we've got patchy frost overnight. we've got a beautiful weekend coming, and then we've got quite a warm-up. temperatures going into the 80s. in the meantime, we've got frost advisory for much of new jersey and pennsylvania away from the i-95 corridor. we have just a few high clouds to the south. there's no rain anywhere nearby. there really isn't any threat of any over the weekend although there could be some fog and some low clouds sunday morning. sunday afternoon for the eagles, it's going to be sunny, and it's going to be a little on the warm side for football. but great for the fans. temperatures getting into the 70s. and look what happens after that. 74 on sunday in philadelphia, but then 80. 83 tuesday. 84 wednesday. that would be a record.

the record is 80, and we could bust that record by a good bit. look how cold it is in the morning. temperatures in the 30s. redding at 37. easton at 35. everybody with sunshine tomorrow. everybody warms well up into the 60s. even some 30s, mount airy at 37 degrees. you saw how much cooler parts of the city of philadelphia are right now. 38 degrees in hadden field. some parts of new jersey having some frost as well. 39 at gallaway, and in delaware, not nearly as cool as the other areas. the weekend is looking great. nothing but sunshine on saturday, and then on sunday after the early clouds break up, temperatures go into the 70s except for the jersey shore with a sea breeze it may be a little bit cooler. there's that big warm-up starting on sunday. no precipitation now expected all the way through the middle of the week. look at those record temperatures. but it doesn't last all week. we got chance of showers
