i am denise nakano. this will have a major impact on travel in philadelphia. only septa's regional trail is not affected. drew smith was there for today's union vote to strike and has our story. >> reporter: passengers are already talking about this potential strike, saying over the next couple of weeks, they're going to be hoping for new negotiations. they're already thinking about how they're going to get around if the strike goes forward. >> there's going to be a lot of people that won't be able to get to school or work. >> reporter: there is some nervousness at the bus stop. mark smallwood thinks he may need new sneakers come november 1st for his commute to work. >> five, six miles a day. >> reporter: members of the transport members union arrived for a voigte, unanimously deciig to walk off the busses and transs. >> we carry the majority of the city around. >> reporter: they're fight over schedule and health care while the biggest issue is pension

guard was hit by a stray bullet on the main campus in chester county. it happened around 3:30 this morning during the weekend's homecoming festivities. the university says the guard was sitting in a van when she was struck. no word on her condition and no students were hurt. turning to decision 2016. with just over three weeks until election day, hillary clinton is leading donald trump by double digits. that's according to the latest n nbc news/wall street journal poll. in a four-way race, clinton came in with 48%. trump is 11 points behind at 37%. today, trump doubled down on his claims that the election is rigged. he took to twitter this morning, writing, quote, the election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing crooked hillary but also at many polling places. sad. but his running mate, mike pence, had a different take on nbc's "meet the press."

against russia and syria. the announcement was made during a ten nation meeting in london today. secretary of state john kerry says the economic penalties would increase pressure on russia and syria to halt air strikes in aleppo. he said crimes against humanity are happening on a daily basis in syria. it wasn't the finish they had hoped for. eagles fans are dealing with disappointment tonight after the birds fell to the redskins, 27-20. let's go to csn's john clark, live at fedex field, where it all went down this afternoon. john, what's the reaction from the team tonight after their second straight loss? >> i'll tell you what, the team didn't look good at all. they're trending in the wrong direction. the offense had a tough time. they only managed six points. it was the defense who scored a touchdown and special teams who scored a touchdown. the defense gave up to 500 yards of offense against the redskins. eagles had a chance. down a touchdown. under four minutes to go.

carson wentz made nice throws in the fourth quarter. he's going to find nelson agholor coming up. they're in redskins territory, in business. it was the offensive line that really hurt the birds. they give up five sacks. it was a really tough debut for the right tackle, big v, who was replacing the suspended lane johnson. that pretty much seals it. eagles lose to the redskins, 27-20. here are the coach and carson wentz talking about the loss. >> we're going to get back to the drawing board. season isn't over. it is a long season. we're not losing hope. we're not losing any of the edge we bring on sundays. i still like this team. we'll get back to the drawing board. >> last week, this week, these are going to be great learning lessons for carson. listen, he is a competitor. these things bother him. these type of things bother him. he's going to clean it up and be ready to go next week. >> now, the eagles, they're in third place because the cowboys

rescue crew returned home today after more than a week helping the areas hardest hit by hurricane matthew. fema's pennsylvania task force one was welcomed back at the fire department special operations center in philadelphia this afternoon. the crew spent the past nine days rescuing people from the deadly flooding in north carolina. during their time, they helped evacuate hundreds of people and animals. >> there was very, very significant devastation throughout north carolina and south carolina. it was rewarding, to be able to go down and assist and help folks when they needed to be helped. >> the storm has damaged hundreds of homes across north carolina. the hurricane claimed at least 26 lives in the state. er erika? we have a warm trend in the works. i'll get this into tuesday. we're going to see low to mid 80s by tuesday.

this afternoon, thousands took to the streets of north philadelphia to mark the anniversary of the million man march and to spread a new messa message. the million moms march took place on broad street. organizers say the goal of the event was to show a united stance against racial injustice, along with police in inner city violence. many want to encourage peace in the community. >> that's what this is about. we want to stand and try to affect change and let people know we are unified and we do want difference and we're willing to put in the work to do that. >> organizers called on change in the community through

activism, education and economic empowerment. today, a three-day journey to help end breast cancer finished in philadelphia. 750 walkers completed the susan g. komen three-day at the navy yard this afternoon. hundreds of people were there to greet them during an emotional closing ceremony. the walk began 16 miles away on friday. many taking part survived breast cancer themselves. >> it is an expeerience for men and women who want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. >> at the end, the crowd raised shoes in the air to honor survivors. the walk raised more than $2.1 million for breast cancer research and educational programs. thousands were also out walking to raise money for aids awareness and prevention. the walk began and ended at the base of the art museum this morning. there is an estimated 30,000 people living with hiv in the

tomorrow, the story is this, lots of 80s and upper 70s. bethlehem, 78 is your expected high temperature. reading, 79. wait until you see these impressive numbers. 80 for newtown. couple clouds developing but everything improving. haddenfield, 71 for you. the trend is 70s to 80s. couple clouds. fantastic day with temperatures certainly above normal. this is why we're seeing clouds moving on. notice the frontal boundary. it'll be dry at best, pushing in one or two spot showers if anything. hour by hour picking up on not much going on with a few clouds moving across the southeast. that's all we're going to see for tomorrow. otherwise, pretty much high and dry. future temperatures, i'll show you through tuesday. notice how much warmer it gets. it'll get here. by 4:00 on tuesday, 84 for trenton. 81 is the expected high temperature. long range forecast, we could

bird's eye view in d.c. john? >> danny, i'll tell you what, it was sloppy by the eagles. 14 penalties. it's back to back weeks with 13 or more penalties for the first time in 56 years. since they started keeping track of the penalty stats. the defense giving up close to 500 yards to this redskins offense, missing their best player. here are key players on the birds d talking about what went wrong. >> pretty much the same as last week. a lot of things, self-inflicted penalties. gave up a few big plays. a lot of big runs in which guys are cut out of gaps or missing tackles. >> it starts with me. like i said earlier, it's my second week in a row, getting two [ bleep ] penalties, two personal fouls, and those cost us seven points. >> yeah, fletcher cox is pointing the finger at himself. it'll be tougher now.
