good evening, i'm jacqueline london. >> and i'm jim rosenfield. americans will themake their decision 2016 in just 19 days. but donald trump says he might challenge that decision if he's the loser. >> of course i would accept a clear election result. but i would also reserve my right to contest or file a legal challenge in the case of a questionable result. >> today's comments come after trump made the same suggestion at last night's debate. we sent nbc 10's tim furlong to ask voters who they make of trump castle doubt on the election result. >> from this florida diner, to wdel talk radio in wilmington, everyone is talking about the debate. >> we have some bad hombres here

and we're going to take them out. >> reporter: rick jackson's phone lines were popping today, the callers hitting all aspects of the debate. but one issue seems to get the most attention. >> the pride of this country is the peaceful transition of power. >> when trump says the election is rigged against him, he saidly tell you at the time. >> this is how donald thinks, it's funny but it's also really troublesome. >> jackson thinks the question itself was unfair. >> reporter: others think that trump is just setting himself up if he loses. now to be clear, there are death some differences between this election and the 2000 election, but lots of people today have asked why shouldn't donald trump request the election results if he loses, they say he should get

now to a mother-daughter cosmetic crime spree, where police say the duo got away with six figures worth of beauty products and turned them into cash. >> the mother-daughter duo was indicted today in trenton. take a look. this is a mother, 47-year-old carol britt, she's from north jersey and is currently in prison. this is her 23-year-old daughter, brianna britt, there is a warrant issued for her arrest. here's how police say the crime spree work. the two would steal expensive perfumes and face creams and other products from -- police say they got away with about $100,000 worth. and we have confirmed that one location was at the cherry hill mall. again, that mother is behind bars already, the daughter is now wanted.

if convicted, they could spend five to ten years behind bars. and breaking news right now, police are investigating an accident involving a school bus. sky force 10, we have the image for you there right now is live in the hunting park section of philadelphia. you can see the car, it looks like a portion of it slid underneath back of that school bus. we can tell you right now there are no reports of any injuries. and turning to our weather, the sun will set in just a new minutes on yet another record day of warmth. >> today we hit a high temperature of 80 degrees, so we actually matched the old record high temperature. if you look at the skyline view behind you guys, we actually had a little bit of cloud cover there, and we could even see some patchy early morning fog. temperatures right now, still

unseasonably warm. 73 degrees in philadelphia, 74 in wilmington, we did get as warm as 80 today in philadelphia. again to match that record high. and tomorrow we will still be above normal in the afternoon. for today, clouds are going to hang around, a mild evening mostly in the 60s. by tomorrow evening, the rain that you see off to our west, we're going to watch that really closely, most of that should move in for your friday evening, most of that will linger to start the week. coming up i'll show you the timing of this rain, and a big cooldown for this week. and again it looks like football weather. the crash landing many called a miracle. tonight the meticulous task of removing the wreckage of that plane. the faa inspected the wings and

propell propeller. the plane narrowly missed homes yesterday when it crashed in lindenwold. both pilots remain in the hospital. >> god bless them. god bless them, that's all i can say, i mean it's a total miracle. a total miracle, a small plane like that? wow. >> the faa will inspect the wreckage at a hangar in delaware. it could take more than a week for investigators with the ntsb to narrow down a cause. today councilman derick green introduced legendation today to keep marijuana dispensaries at least 500 feet away from schools and churches. pennsylvania legalized medical marijuana earlier this year, but

the dispensary system will take up to two years to begin operations. temple and jefferson universities introduced a plan to investigate safe usage of medical marijuana. a judge made a ruling based on post trial motions. the dropped charges include bank and mail fraud counts, fattah was investigated in june for his furnd raising for his campaign. today a show of support for young people dealing with homelessness in philadelphia. today the covenant -- all of the kids and teenager who is don't have a home. the organization runs the largest 24-hour emergency housing program for homeless youth in the area. they say they want them to know there is a safe place to go.

republican party bosses looked to find brian fitzpatrick. they "hand-picked" him to run for his brother's seat. but all mike and brian fitzpatrick share is a name. brian fitzpatrick supports a radical republican agenda, including defunding planned parenthood, just like donald trump. a hundred and sixty miles down the road in dc, brian fitzpatrick will put his party first, not pennsylvania families. house majority pac is responsible for the content of this advertising.

and so when i saw that, that was completely disqualifying. i'm a republican, but this election is so much bigger than party. my son max can't live in trump world. so i'm crossing party lines and voting for hillary. i don't always agree with her, but she's reasonable. and she's smart. she can work with people to solve problems. i want to be able to tell my kids that i did the right thing when it really mattered. i'm hillary clinton and i approve this message.

more than 100,000 college students cannot go to school today because their professors are still on strike. in west chester, professors are walking the picket line.

randy gyllenhaal spoke to governor wolf today about the negotiations. randy? >> reporter: we chatted with the governor here in center city, he says both sides are talking, and he's expecting some sort of deal. but on college campuses across pennsylvania, growing concern that this strike could last even longer. day two of the faculty strike and no end in sight. at west chester, a chorus of students joining professors on the picket line. >> it's frustrating to be taken out of class, but it's also frustrating to driven to the point where we have to strike. >> reporter: back channel negotiations are under way, governor tom wolf says he globes both sides will make a decision soon. >> i don't know if they're talking in person or on the phone, but they're trying to get this done. >> reporter: but somebody will have to budge, one of the

biggibig sticking point is health care. state administrators say state administrators are getting a pay raise amid a tight budget crunch. >> i think we're closer to the average that pennsylvania -- >> will no deal soon, the entire semester could take a hit, with seniors expecting to graduate. >> by them going on strike, it could mean me pushing my graduation date. >> reporter: most students out enjoying the time off, waiting for word of a compromise. >> i think as it goes on, it's going to get a little bit more serious. because then students will know it has to do with their graduation, their financial aid. >> reporter: both west chester and cooks town have their homecoming football game this is weekend. i'm told both will go on as

planned. but in west chester, they had to bring in backup coaches because theirs are on strike. >> this strike applies only to state owned universities in the state. universities like temple don't fall into that category even though they do receive some state tax dollars. take a look at the first ever popup weed garden. more than 100 people show up to celebrate the city's move to decriminalize marijuana. on this day two years ago, the city passed an ordinance making possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana a civil offense. since then marijuana arrests are down and the city has saved millions of dollars. philadelphia police do not have the authority to ticket you on state highways in the city, but a new class-action lawsuit argues officers do it anyway. the suit says that city police illegally cite drivers on 95, 76

and 676. philadelphia officers lost their power to cite drivers on state highways in a state decision in 2012, they can pull you over, but they have to contact state police for any enforcement action. the state police department did not comment on pending litigation. in just 19 days, all americans will pick a new name for president. >> but some jersey shore voters might also be choosing a new name for their town. the debate is intensifying in north wildwood over changing the resort's name into angelsea. ted greenberg has the buzz over what's in a name. >> i'm going to vote yes. >> reporter: on jim shaffer's lawn and a growing number of others in north wildwood, signs of a push to return this seaside resort to its roots. >> it's part of the history of this whole area. >> reporter: rediscover anglesea

is the ballot question november 8. it asks societiy voters if the should be known by it's olds name, anglesea. in some spots it's still in use. >> it's a great resort. i think it will add value to us. >> reporter: supporters say the name change would give the city it's own identity apart from its neighbors, wildwood, west wildwood and wildwood crest. >> we will no longer be living in the shadows so to speak as north wildwood, with a separate town name. >> reporter: the vote could lead to a separate referendum. >> it would be a lot of extra costs for the regular business person. >> reporter: alex is among local business people that stay a new

name will confuse tourists. >> north wildwood's mayor won't share his opinion publicly, but thinks it's key that the initial vote is nonbinding to avoid dividing the community. >> this is probably the most talked about issue in my years as mayor of north wildwoods. >> reporter: the mayor tells me the cost to the city would be about $25,000. well, another unseasonably warm day today, we matched a record high in philadelphia of 80 degrees, right now we're at 73, so still warmer than we should be for this time of the year, 70 in many of our pennsylvania suburbs. 73 through much of south jersey, in delaware, we'll take a look at our neighborhood temperatures here, we're still mostly in the mid 70s, wilmington coming in at

78 degrees, harmony hills 75, dover 72, allendale 76 degrees. in sussex county and right along the beaches we're seeing temperatures around 76. rehoboth beach coming in at 69 degrees. coming up tonight, we will stay mild, but some of the clouds are already getting a little lower now and by tomorrow morning some areas could see visibility lower than a mild. by about 7:30, there could be less than a mile visibility. so again, tomorrow morning, areas of fog, just be aware of that as you are heading out for the morning commute. areas of chain through saturday morning, so rain will be in the forecast for at least part of your weekend. cool and windy as we go into the weekend, we're talking about some big changes. take a look at what's going to happen to our temperatures, we

have been above normal, we'll stay that way tomorrow, normal high 65, saturday we drop to 58, and it's going to be pretty windy. winds are going to gust to 30 miles an hour by sunday. currently we have the clouds around, but we don't have the rain, the rain is still back off to our west, and that will start to move in late in the day tomorrow. future weather here showing us mostly staying dry as we go through your friday morning, friday evening, we'll see that rain getting closer and that's going to last into early saturday, clearing getting cooler and windy as we go through the afternoon on saturday as well. stay tuned, we'll be right back. planned parenthood.

i would support legislation in pennsylvania that would ban abortion and i would suggest we have penalties for doctors who perform them. would you put people in jail for performing abortions? at some point doctors performing abortions i think would be subject to that sort of penalty. dscc is responsible for the content of this advertising.

we turn to the eagles now where they're still licking their wounds after their second straight loss, and they're taking it to the division foe in washington as they welcome in the unbeaten minnesota vikings. >> the birds are happy to be back home, they are 2-0 at the link, they're the nfl's best team at home. they have given up the fewest points at home. 63-13. so they're looking for that home field advantage again. the defense needs to turn it around, they gave up 230 yards on the ground in washington, brandon graham says they were embarrassed. the vikings are the worst rushing team in the nfl, averaging just 2 1/2 yards a carry. >> we just got to play better. we need to get back to playing the ball that we played the first three weeks, disciplined football and that's everybody just playing together. >> we're all getting back to basics and just do our job and get back to how we were playing
