going back inside the mall. police say they're looking for three men, all who had hooded sweatshirts on, and took off in a stolen silver mercedes. three men, they took off in a stolen car. we are told that there are no injuries here. shoppers say they were evacuated from the mall for about 30 minutes but now business is resuming inside the store as police look for these suspects. now to our weather, take a look at the driving rain in delaware. we're taking you along for the ride in news force 10. those wipers getting a workout this afternoon. some heavy lines of rain rolling across the region this afternoon. >> it has been sprinkling off and on all day.

a live look at the scene in the poconos. the rain that's coming over here in camelback mountain is quite a bit cooler, in fact they actually saw a few snowflakes this morning. >> glenn is this the worst of it or is there more to come? >> for a while, that's the worst of it at least for most of the area. philadelphia, the p.a. suburbs, parts of new jersey, parts of delaware and big temperature -- 60 in a good bit of delaware at the same time. tremendous temperature contrast, and a lot of places you're going to see temperatures go up during the evening. here's some heavier rain coming through chester county, that's headed right through the philadelphia area, we continue to see bands of rain and showers moving through the area, so far

no reports of thunderstorms or any flooding threats, here's southern delaware and south jersey getting socked as the heaviest rain of the day coming down there. and there's showers just south of pottstown now. as we go through the evening hours, you can see this general zone moving to the east, by 7:00, the heaviest rain at the shore and then we start to see the clearing from west to east, later on during the night. we'll continue to see more rain as we head into the weekend and more rain for halloween. >> it was just important for me to wear my shirt, that was just important to me. >> the singer says the sixers slam dunked her national anthem performance and all because of the shift she was wearing. philadelphia did find itself at the center of a debate over the national anthem that's been raging for months now. the singer was wearing a jersey

trolly and subway operators. rail safety is a concern in new jersey, that's why new jersey transit is bringing in big guns to help meet federal safety requirements. the agency hired a president of metro north to help install a positive train -- new jersey transit has until 2018 to install the safety braking system. both presidential candidates are in swing states today as they get ready for the final push of the campaign. now 12 days to go until election day which is november 8. and hillary clinton and first lady michelle obama appeared together at a rally and they draw one of the democratic nominee's largest crowd of this

store and stealing several cell phones. and police may the man who damaged the staircase in center city is in custody. police reck -- investigators say he wrenched a brass railing of the of the steps on tuesday morning leaving behind a lot of crumbled masonry. a surveillance video showed him carrying the six-foot railing dun center street. the building has about $100,000 in damage. a fight involving more than 50 high school students in allentown. police say two 16-year-old boys got concussions, and bruises. they were kicked, punched and pistol whipped. seven students were arrested two of them face weapons charges, the fight started in the school lunch room. they agreed to meet after school and fight.

bethany beach at 63 degrees. but it's not warm everywhere. and we set meteorologist erika martin out into the cool air to see how much of a difference we have got. >> reporter: hi, glenn, currently i'm in downtown bethlehem on main street and as you mentioned, temperatures up here are much cooler, in fact all day long, they have been about 10 to 20 degrees cooler than we have been seeing farther south. and as you know glenn, this morning it made all the difference. in fact we had several reports of freezing rain for north hampton county and farther south we saw mainly rain. temperatures right now are mainly in the 40s for north hampton county. right now we are seeing light rain, but everything will stay in the form of light rain, the good news is that it will start to warm up by the weekend, so no freezing rain for right now, and glenn has more on the upcoming

rain this weekend. >> bethlehem, it's only 45 degrees, places are in the 60s, and in many of these places, temperatures are going to be going up during the evening hours, it's only 41 degrees in walnut port, and 42 degrees in bath, and 45 in fleetwood. and we have a pretty large area of rain coming in, just as we have been telling you, the afternoon rush today is going to be -- erika is just about to get hit with that within the next hour. we have rain moving through the phil area, and the heavy stuff coming through the west, in chester county, right near coatesville, near west chester, kenneth square, rest grove, east nottingham, all those places getting moderate to heavy rain

that's moved through southern delaware into cape may county, so lots of different places are getting it. but not many places are going to be getting it later tonight. there's 8:00, we're already seeing parts of the area drying out by 10:00. the temperature is going up and the rain moves out and the clearing comes in as we go past the midnight hour. later on, we're going to be seeing the temperatures go up tonight and then tomorrow, we're dry. we're windy, we're cool, saturday we warm up, but then here comes the next weather system down here, this is a weak one coming, approaching the area on sunday with the possibility of a few showers as you can see here, we're not talking about a big storm or anything, so most of the day at least is going to be dry.

windy. we have got a chilly rain in our suburbs and a milder rain in other parts of the area, we have got wind coming off the ocean, relatively warm for this time of year. and cape may point, while we're just barely above the freezing mark in the poconos. quite a contrast today, and quite an area of rain moving through, most places are seeing it right now we have seen some heavier rain at times in redding now moving into the lehigh valley. another batch of heavier rain in chester county, that's moved pretty much toward northern delaware and chester itself and pollsboro is starting to get it. another good batch coming through dover, so it's not all that well organized. so we don't have anything that's

especially heavy, but watch as we go through the night, the general trend is moving toward the ocean, the temperature may actually be going up as we go through the evening hours. and then the winds start coming in, clearing things out, drying things out, and it's going to be a windy day tomorrow, but a dry day, a lot of sunshine. then saturday, that may be a pretty nice day, up over 70 degrees. and then we have got a front coming down on sunday, it's possible there could be a few showers during the day, it's got it into some parts of the area, especially from phil northward, but it's not going to be anything like today. as we go through the night tonight, you can see just about everybody seeing rain, you can also see some of these temperatures going up, 60 in wilmington, 61 in trenton, philadelphia 62. then by tomorrow, we're into the upper 30s in allentown and

quakertown. a lot of wind during the day tomorrow, as temperatures hold in the 50s. now for the weekend itself, we' we're seeing the warm weather on saturday, 72 in delaware, sunday the chance of some showers, but not anything like what we saw today. and for the trick or treat forecast, it's looking really good. it will be of course on the cooler side as we head towards 7:00, 8:00, sunset is exactly at 6:00 so it will get totally dark by 6:30. so if you want to be in the daylight, you got to get done by 6:30. there's the forecast for the weekend, mild weather, and then a cooler day for trick-or-treat day, but at least it's dry and sunny, then the temperatures go back up, by wednesday, we're up to 74 again and we don't cool down until the end of next week. >> all right, glenn.
