west. in southern delaware, we're also getting more significant rain, but at least it's a warmer rain with temperatures in the low 60s, everything moving from west to east, it will gradually be drying out, but it's going to take a few hours for that to happen. as we go hour by hour, you can see the clock, and the rain ending from west to east. we even get clearing by midnight, we'll see if it stays that way through the weekend with the rest of the forecast in a few minutes. imagine you're just shopping in the jewelry department, when burglars use hammers to steal jewelry right out of the cases, deanna durante headed right to the mall when we got word of that particularry. >> it's not often that you see this happen in and around a mall.

>> reporter: witnesses say they first say it was a gunshot they when they heard a loud noise and glass breaking over and over. turns out it was thieves smashing their way to what they wanted. between a narrow walkway of two jewelry cases, glass is on the floor. customers were not here at the time of the robbery. >> everybody started panicking and everybody started running to where i was saying they were shooting, but nobody really knew what was going on. >> reporter: police say it was around 2:30, when three men armed with hammers targeted this jewelry case inside the macy's it the mall on roosevelt boulevard. >> you heard one bang, and then you heard smashing windows. that's when everybody realized something was going on and

and on the other side of our area, we go from smyrna at 58, dover at 59, and over by the beaches, 63 at beverly beach. 33 to 63. here's the radar showing the heaviest rain moving through the area. looks like the northeast extension is the dividing line, everything east of the northeast extension is a whole lot wetter. and then the heavier and steadier rain has moved past philadelphia now, but there are more showers coming in within the next couple of hours, getting the heaviest rain at the jersey shore and that too will be correspondentinuing for a wh. here's the future cast, it's going to take until about 11:00 tonight for everything to get out of here and then we wait for another system on sunday, which

will be a weak one. as you go through the night, if anything, the temperature is going up for a while, going into the 60s. but by morning we dry out, it's kind of chilly north and west, but then we get nothing but sunshine and wind, it's going to be a windy day and a warm wind coming in on saturday. 62 degrees, 66 lehigh valley. could get a few showers, but it's not going to be anything like today, and no rain for trick-or-treaters, the sunset is at exactly 6:00, so it will be totally dark by 6:30. temperatures dropping into the 50s by 8:00 at night. and the ten-day forecast, we see those 70 plus temperatures over the weekend a little bit cooler on halloween, and then watch those temperatures go back up next wednesday and thursday?
