clinton's email scandal. nbc news has learned the justice department urged the fbi not to make this new email development public. but yesterday fbi director james comey decided to notify congress about the discovery of the new emails anyway. tonight four democratic senators including thomas carper of delaware are calling on the d.o.j. and the fbi to release more information on those emails. donald trump is seizing on the scandal tonight while clinton called comey's letter unprecedented and deeply troubling. >> this is the biggest political scandal since water gate. >> no matter how low our opponents go, we go high. >> and that was trump speaking in arizona and clinton at a concert in miami. and this email controversy comes as both campaigns have just 10

the driver was arrested at the scene for suspicion of dui. the victim's name has not been released. tonight three teenagers are facing homicide charges in the shooting death of a former high school football player. the suspects have all been charged as adults but police have not identified them. officers found 19-year-old's body at memorial park overnight. he was a wide receiver and graduated last year. an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. ♪ and now to the latest on the septa strike threat. just 48 hours left until workers could walk off the job and today talks between sept and the transport workers union hit a sour note. the employees who work on the buses, trains and trolleys were told to prepare to strike tuesday morning.

andrea joins us live from university of pennsylvania hospital. i understand the hospital's making plans for their staff. >> the hospital and other employers are hoping to prepare for the worst. again, university of pennsylvania, including its hospital behind me they're all coming together to provide expanded shuttle surfaces to employees, students and staff. and they are not alone. the city of philadelphia is also providing bus service only to its employees and those serving jury duty along the broad street and frankfort street line. for everyone else, indigo will increase and uber and lyft are working to provide discounted rates. but how about the thousands of students that rely on septa to get to school. we visited the charter school to find out how they're helping

a south jersey man shot a cop after a struggle. he stopped the car near alabama road this morning. moments later the driver took off and slammed into a parked car. the officer then got into a strugual the driver and the suspect was shot once. the suspect was treated and released from the hospital and is now facing charges.
