their focus is on the battleground states that could make or break their campaigns. both candidates and their surrogates are focused on pennsylvania this weekend. we'll have more on that in a moment. but first the clinton campaign is dealing with a computer theft in northern liberties. philadelphia police say three laptop computers belonging to clinton campaign workers were stolen last night. we're told the workers left backpacks holding the computers inside a parked car on brown street near i-95. now police say the computers may have contained campaign scheduling information. the secret service and homeland security have been notified, but police believe it was a crime of opportunity. well word of the theft comes as hillary clinton prepares to make the push for pennsylvania. she began her day with a rally in pembroke pines, florida, outside miami and then clinton will be in philadelphia tonight. she's getting some star power from katy perry, who is performing a special concert in

support of clinton at the mann center, where nbc 10's andrea cline-thomas joins us. it seems like a lot of excitement out there tonight. >> there's plenty of excitement from a lot of different generations. for some people katy perry is the initial draw. others want to see hillary clinton. but along with the excitement, there's also anxiety just days before the election. >> i came here at 6:00 a.m. >> mark drove from ohio to the mann center this morning to be one of the first in line. >> it's once in a lifetime kind of thing, you never get to this, this is like the first election with a female president and it's going to be awesome. i want to be in the front row. >> award-winning singer katy perry joins hillary clinton for a free get out the vote performance, part of the clinton campaign's final push to pull out all of the star power days before the election and this concert appeals to many generations. >> a lot of people are saying that you know okay, senator,

tuesday. biden joined local democrats at a rally in bristol where he laid out his support for hillary clinton. the vice president will be back in pennsylvania tomorrow attending get out the vote events in harrisburg and scranton. and then on monday night, president obama and first lady michelle obama will join hillary and bill clinton for a final rally in philadelphia. the time and location have not yet been announced. donald trump, meantime, is making stops in four states today. the republican nominee started the day in florida. before heading to north carolina, and nevada. he'll appear in colorado later tonight. trump's wife, melania introduced her husband at a rally in wilmington, north carolina. she told supporters the country needs a president who will keep the nation safe. lower taxes and bring back jobs. for his part, trump predicted he'll win big on tuesday. he says he's overpowering clinton even though she has the backing of a-list celebrities and top democratic politicians.

>> so i'm asking you to dream big, because with your vote we are just three days away from the change you've been waiting for for your entire life. >> trump will be back campaigning in pennsylvania tomorrow. some of trump's top surrogates made stops in pennsylvania today. former arkansas governor mike huckabee, former texas governor rick perry and mississippi governor phil bryant attended events in chester and lancaster counties. now perry and bryant visited cumberland and york counties. the united pakistani american christian community hosted this rally supporting donald trump today in the northeast. members of the group gathered in the parking lot at the roosevelt mall holding signs of solidarity. they say trump stands for christian values they believe in. >> we need to have a better candidate who can manage the budget better, who can bring

break in a shopping center parking lot. workers there cleared away several inches of mud and debris coating the ground. several stores at baker's center on fox street were able to reopen this morning. a 48-inch main burst yesterday, sending as much as six million gallons of water spilling into the parking lot. you see there. 75 people had to be rescued. the water department says there's no timetable on how long those repairs will take. turning now to day five of the septa strike. people are making their way around the city without buses, trolleys and subways. and now the issue is headed back to a courtroom. nbc 10's randy gyllenhaal is live at the sheraton in center city where septa and the transport workers union are in talks again today. and randy, what have you learned? >> well denise, i got an update about ten minutes ago from congressman bob brady as he he was leaving the negotiations at the hotel.

he tells me despite the threats of legal action, both sides are currently talking it out inside the sheraton in center city. but still no deal. they're trying to hammer out some economic issues and now as mentioned, this strike heading to a courtroom days before the election. >> the septa strike enters the weekend. now under the threat of legal action, septa urging a judge to end it. picketers say septa should focus on negotiating. >> i could care less about a lawsuit. we're out here because our jobs, our families, our dignity. >> yesterday septa lawyers argued the strike threatens the health and safety of citizens. >> we're not going to lie down. while we can't resolve this strike and just watch our passengers suffer. not going to do it. >> but the union's lawyer say there's no legal precedent to end the strike. >> that is not a basis under pennsylvania law to grant an injunction against striking employees. >> and with the election now just three days away -- >> i think we're going to be

new at 6:00, a philadelphia police officer was hurt after his cruiser was hit this morning in kensington. investigators say the officer was attempting to pull the car over when he was struck. the driver then took off. the car was found abandoned about a half-mile away. the officer's injuries are not serious. to camden now, camden county, a man is dead after getting shot while driving along route 42 in bellmawr. it caused major back-ups this morning. state police say another car pulled up alongside the man's vehicle and someone inside opened fire. police are still searching for the gunmen. a mild start to the weekend. taking a live look at kaep may where it's sunny and dry out there. the sunset looking good, a couple people taking advantage of having the beach all to themselves. how long will the mild weather stick around? for that let's get a check on the nbc 10 first alert
