right now at 11:00 election day 2016. whether the 45th president is the first woman or a billionaire with no political experience our country is beginning a new chapter. this is a look in spring gardens neighborhood. experts say health care healthcare needs to wrap up big vote totals in order to carry pennsylvania. let's look at camden. they are not just picking a congressman they also have ballot questions to decide today.

there are heavy turnout across our area. this is jenkin town high school. hillary clinton voted this morning near her home. she was joined by her husband as she entered the polling place she said so many people are counting on the outcome of the election. donald trump walked into a polling place and waved at the crowd a few -- >> we have reporters talking to voters and checking on any problems that may be out there. monique braxton is with us. >> look over my shoulder.

this is one of many we have seen all across the city this morning. i did digging and learned there are more than 1 million registered voters according to the pennsylvania state department. check out this video. by 8:30 this morning 225 people had voted here. one worker told us she hasn't seen a crowd this size in years. the wait was more than one hour. 360 people had voted by 9:30 this morning. i asked these voters what prompted them to stand in line? this. >> i am a naturalized american this year. it is an important vote. >> reporter: and the first time you have seen lines like this in the community? >> absolutely. >> i am here with my daughter.

in the issues that he cares about. on the ground here is a look at montgomery county. voters were lined up. this polling location was seeing plenty of action this morning, as you see there. the justice department has staffers watching the polls today. the department has more than 500 workers. they look out for any civil rights violations. some are monitoring the polls and they will be on the look lo for voter intimidation and fraud. matt, you have been talking with voters having issues this morning. tell us about it. >> reporter: right. a handful of voting issues this morning. mostly people went to the polls at the start of the morning. broken machines and in some cases the machines weren't even put together.

than that. right now 64. parkwood at 63 degrees. we still have some 50s. chestnut hill at 56. we are variations even within the city of philadelphia. this afternoon one thing everybody is going to do is warm up some more. not much wind either. five or six miles per hour. by 1:00 it is 66 degrees. also at 3:00. in between we may hit the upper 60s. remember, the sunsets right around 5:00. it will start getting dark and it is going to cool off very quickly after dark. now you can see it's clear now in the east. the clouds are advancing from west to east. the nearest rain is still pretty far away. barely a few showers getting

into ohio. there is no threat of rain for the rest of the day or even tonight. this cold front is going to bring somewhat cooler weather. we have rain ahead of it. it looks like it will effect much of ohio during the day today and western pennsylvania tonight. by tomorrow morning maybe first thing it's not raining but as we go towards the rest of the morning rush hour we do see showers. it's not necessarily going to rain everywhere. it does not look like it will be heavy. the cool air will be coming in behind it. we'll feel that difference for tomorrow. yesterday the computer models were suggesting between a half inch and four tenths of an inch. now they are pretty much all down as far as the amounts of rain. we really need rain because we are in a drought. that's not helping.

area. this is in bucks county. it doesn't appear to be a line out the door there. we have seen a steady stream of people coming out of this poll location. this has been unlike any other nation has ever seen. it has been historic and at times devicive. philadelphia played a major role. hillary clinton became the first woman to accept a major party's nomination. donald trump went to business school in philadelphia and spent a lot of time campaigning in our viewing area. the campaign caused a lot of stress among voters. many are worried about the outcome and also because political discussions can strain relationships. we turned to one expert for advice. >> i think it would be good for people to express that they honor each other's opinion. they honor each other's thinking
