presidency. this march appears to be going all the way down to 30th street station, down jfk. but philadelphia police department is closing the streets as they pass each block. at this point, this march again started at the municipal services building. we have been hear for about 20 or so minutes before this started that they were about to take to the streets, it started as a vigil, it involved speakers and now has involved a full march. we'll keep an eye on it from sky force 10. >> reporter: back here in washington, as for the meeting today at the white house, donald trump saying his top three priorities are jobs, immigration and health care, he met with president obama in the oval office. after the meeting, the two said they an excellent conversation. the transition to trump started

we're going to lower taxes as you know fix health care and make it more affordable. and we're going to -- >> and then mr. trump met with senate majority leader mitch mcconnell, a critical meeting to determine how they will work together to move the president's agenda forward. a totaling of three meetings of three men who all spoke out against the president-elect at some point during the campaign. >> reporter: mitch mcconnell said that the meeting was first class and that the two are excited to get started on the work ahead of them. the donald trump transition team will move its offices from new york to washington later this month. but there is office space already allotted and of that transition work has already started. the transition team also has launched a new website and a twitter account as well on greatagain.gov, you can read up

on the president-elect's policies and his buy up. first lady michelle obama also met today with melania trump at the white house privately. but in the past hour, the official white house photographer released a picture of the two of them meeting this morning. white house press secretary said the two mothers had tea, they took a tour of the white house property and they spoke raiabou raising children in the white house. because the president-elect and first lady will raise baron donald trump in the white house. this will be the first male raise here since john f. kennedy jr. let's take a look at the numbers today. today the dow closed at a new record, a record high finishing 218 points, the dow gained nearly 500 points in the past two days since mr. trump won the election. as for the u.s. senate race in

pro donald trump messages an messages of hate including swastikas littered a bathroom inside council rock north. randy joins us live from that high school in new town. >> reporter: and that student tells me she walked into the bathroom this morning and found the threatening messages. it was a combination of praise for donald trump along with swastikas, as well as threatening messages to both gay and minority students. students at council rock north furious and afraid after finding threatening graffiti, a senior found the scribbled hate on the poster bathroom. >> on the hoster it said i hart trump and then there were like two or three swastikas drawn and then it said the f-word and then gays. so homophobic stuff right there.

>> reporter: the school says a latino student found a note in her backpack warning her to go back to mexico. >> it doesn't really matter which side of the political spectrum you are on, or what candidate you supported, it's just not right at all. >> reporter: the school says the culprits are likely a small number of the student body. parents worry this is all the writing on the wall that trump's campaign rhetoric is trickling down. >> political discourse in this country has trickled down. >> now students are rallying around their gay and minority friends. >> i just think that it's something that do need to address so that it doesn't happen again. >> and in the past hour, students here from the gay-straight alliance told me they will be holding meetings tonight to discuss this issue. meantime the school district says all tustudents are accepte

here and that behavior will not be tolerated. the new jersey man accused of setting off bombs in jersey and new york faced terrorism charges in court today. ahmad khan rahimi's lawyer said he faces severe surgeries. rahimi is accused of detonating a pipe bomb minutes before a marine corps charity race. police say he also planted two pressure cooker bombs in new york city. one went off and injured dozens of people. rahimi acknowledged the charges against him. a woman faces trafficking charges for allegedly recruiting a teenaged girl into prostitution. cants is accused of soliciting clients on the internet so the two could make money. there was a home invasion

opponent and their family. >> reporter: the tradition began in the 1800s, two days after the election, candidates would gather here at the courthouse and listen to the winners names announced. they have always done that town crier thing. at some point they added this hatchet to the mix. they bury a hatchet in a box and it officially ends the election season in delaware. >> it's a whole season of burying the hatchet and looking forward. we're not republicans, independents and democrats, we're americans. >> reporter: if only everyone can get down to southern delaware to get a little bit of what's in the water here. >> president obama said it well, the elect is over. now we have to govern. that's really what it's all about.

>> the question is can others do the same across this nation after the bitter election. jacqueline, back to you. now to this, there's and an anti donald trump protest happening near the municipal services building. >> reporter: you can see that crowd, a large crowd, this might be bigger than what we saw last night, marching down broad street at this point. this is a group called women in formation, they are a group of women of color and sexual assault survivors, according to their literature and website. they started with a vigil outside the municipal services

building, lighting candles, having speeches and rallies all up and down broad street. we'll keep an eye on it. last night when we saw protesters out, they were dealing with some wet weather, not the case tonight. >> it was pouring rain this time yesterday in parts of the area, quite a change in 24 hours, we have dried out, there's a live picture in i-95 in south philly. the traffic is not that bad, and part of the reason is that the weather is good. the temperatures have started to drop in parts of the area, parts of the south jersey already down into the 40s, and that includes upper township, ocean city at 49 degrees, egg harbour township at 44. but we had a lot of sunshine

today, we got a lot of sunshine friday, saturday and sunday, the coldest day is going to be saturday. there is a chance of a nor'easter developing on tuesday bringing some rain to a good part of the area as you'll see in the 10-day. nothing more than some high thin clouds around here. we have got a lot of dry air over a couple of thousand miles between here and denver. and so it's going to stay dry for a while. the temperatures not really dropping as much as they were last night. so by 10:00, mostly in the 40s, atlantic city in the 50s. in fact tomorrow morning, nowhere near the 30s that we saw this morning. so it's not going to start off cold tomorrow, it's going to warm up quickly by 1:00, 60 degrees, other places way up in the 50s. watch what happens here between 1:00 and 5:00.

the temperature drops 10 degrees in philadelphia. 12 degrees in allentown as a cold front comes through, so be prepared for that, if you're going to be out after 5:00 tomorrow, it's going to start getting chilly. because the wind is going to be picking up as well, it will be kind of gusty later on in the afternoon. but the wind will die down by the time the eagles are playing, we have got some great weather that's going to be coming in and there may be a little bit of sun glare. the temperatures saturday chilly, sunday is a good bit warmer, lehigh valley goes from 48 to 58 degrees, and the lehigh valley will be seeing sunshine over the weekend, but there's a chance this storm comes up the coast as we head into tuesday. >> i'm danny pommells, the eagles get set for the birds of different feather. we got the answer next.
