mt. pocono. the wind is coming this direction. in most places it won't be as windy as it is tomorrow morning. it's going to be pretty chilly. there's going to be some wind in ph philadelphia makes it feel like it's below 30. that wind in chester bucks county makes it feel like it's in the 20s. and tomorrow we don't get out of the 40s. today it was 63 degrees. lehigh valley staying in the 40s tomorrow, near freezing in much of new jersey and even parts of delaware as temperatures barely make it to 50. that's not going to last, we'll talk about the changes coming after this with the rest of the forecast in just a few minutes.

>> tonight new jersey state police are trying to find the driver behind the deadly hit and run. it happened around 4:30 this afternoon. the visibilictim was riding a b when he was struck and killed this afternoon. the driver drove off. university of pennsylvania police are investigating after african-american students say they were targeted with rarnl messages. school officials tell us that a number of black freshman were tied to a group me account. >> we just got this video in to our newsroom of a large group of students walking into a town hall meeting there on campus. we are there and you will hear from those students coming up tonight on nbc10 news at 11:00. >> [ bleep ]. >> what you just heart was a

haddon township police officer shoot a suspect after a chase. the officer said he didn't even know he shot the suspect. the traffic stop happened in october, but the video was just now released. >> cydney long looks into the video of this police shooting. >> this was a subject that was not going to cooperate with police. >> reporter: dash cam video captured it all october 29. a stop for a handicapped southeastern blocking the way. >> he should have had the gun out. i'm guessing he had the gun out when he told him to get out of the car. >> we bleeped out the profanity. as we talked with fop president. >> he's driving down the street. now the gun should be out. >> watch and listen closely for

suffering third-burns after his phone charger exploded in his pocket. the young man was charging his phone in his pocket, when he felt a surge of heat right on his leg, that charger ignited and burned his hand as he tried to get the charger out of his pocket. the student was taken to the hospital after the smell of burning electronics filled the room. >> his hand was black because he tried pulling it out of his pocket and his pants were actually stuck to his skin. >> the university says it can't know the make and model of that charger because it is burned beyond recognition. >> stopping hate in the classroom, that was the goal of a school gathering in montgomery county. the no hate assembly took place at high school in huntington valley.

they discussed ways to get along with people who have different beliefs and culture. the assembly was part of nonviolent resolution week. starting next weeks, accept too is making it a lot easier to make seniors to get free rides. the first photo id cards will roll out this month. riders won't have to show their id anymore, they can just tap and go. 40,000 seniors applied for one. septa will send them in the mail. the adams avenue bridge is back open this afternoon, that bridge runs over the creek in the city's long crest neighborhood. it reopened today after a seven-month reconstruction project. the bridge serves about 16,000 cars every day. a look at several tributes across the delaware valley. plus the eagles hope to stay undefe

it is veterans day, time to pay respect to those in the military. >> there were several moving tributes across the delaware valley. >> on this veterans day, the main dignitary is a war veteran. >> the community celebrated those who wore the uniform. >> unlike memorial day, we remember the dead, this is more of a celebration type event as opposed to memorial day. just honors all veterans, all those who served. >> the celebration from the short of the main line in media, delaware county, the veterans day set off at 11: 11 a.m. >> reporter: and patriotism is

easy to spot in montgomery county. here students didn't bring books or pictures to school, instead they brought veterans. they told war stories and got a few gifts from the kids as well. and in delaware, those gathering to honor the veterans got a special surprise. >> it's not until you lose your son in battle, i have a deep appreciation for a sense of your loss and the obligation we owe you. and they had nice weather around the area, to have those celebrations and remember our veterans. >> beautiful tributes. if you get really close to the tv, you might see that glenn is wearing a very patriotic tie, that matches the flag behind you. >> that's one of the three flag-like bow ties that i have.

honoring the veterans and my father who wserved in world war ii. it's 47 degrees in lehigh valley. still 50s farther to the south. let's how much the temperature has dropped. a couple of hours ago, we were showing you these temperatures and they were well into the 50s, and now it's 49 in sinking spring, 49 in redding, 46 in cookstown, 44 bath, 46 in bethlehem, 45 in eastland. by morning it's going to feel like the 20s. the wind gusts are starting to diminish now, 29-mile-per-hour in allentown are the biggest gusts we have seen, it gusted up to 32 miles an hour officially in philadelphia. we have lots of sunshine both

day this weekend. but tomorrow is going to be a whole lot colder, it's going to like in the 20s if you get up at 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning. the next rain comes monday night and into tuesday. there we were, 64 degrees for the high today, the average high is 58. tomorrow's high 52, barely. then back up on sunday, before we go down as the clouds and the rain come in, we have mostly clear skies right now and not much moisture coming at us from any direction. and watch these temperatures go down during the evening. so if you're staying out later tonight, we're talking about temps in the 30s everywhere north and west of philadelphia and down close to the 30-degree mark by morning. with a little bit of wind on top of that, it's not exactly going to be dead calm.

during the day tomorrow, we're mostly just going up through the 40s. but sunday is a different story. sunday we jump back up to 60 or above, with a different kind of wi wind. it's going to be chilly first thing in the morning. and there that's jump, 52 to 62. lehigh svalley, 48 to 58 degree, and it's going to be a beauty on sunday. there's the 52 saturday, 62 on sunday. we have that supermoon you may have heard about monday night, but it's going to be supercloudy. so go out sunday night, it will be almost a perfect supermoon. and then we dry out for a while, and more rain looks like it might be coming next weekend. hey, still to come, the
