>> we begin with breaking news overnight. a chartered plane carrying 81 people including a professional brazilian soccer team has crashed into a mountainous region of colombia. the plane declared an emergency around 10:00 p.m. eastern time on its way to the city of med l medellin. there have been conflicting reports but so far the airport is confirming six people were pulled from the wreckage. airport authorities say rescuers could only access the crash site by land due to bad weather conditions. overnight thousands in t tennessee are under mandatory evacuation orders, multiple wildfires are burning in the blue ridge mountains. drivers captured these images while fleeing from the resort towns of gatlinburg. fire reached the edges of the country music legend star dolly parton's theme park dollywood but it has not been damaged so far. according to authorities, all the active fires remain within the great smoky national park. the original wildfire which grew

rapidly throughout monday appeared to be human cause. fortunately some rain rolling in from the east should help firefighters. this morning new details on the horrific attack at ohio state university that it left 11 people injured after the suspect, 18-year-old osu freshman abdul raz ak ali artan ran into them with a car and ran after them with a butcher knife. >> i'm at ohio state and there was a guy who crashed his car and ran out with a knife. >> he was eventually shot and killed by an officer on the scene. this morning that officer, 28-year-old alan horujko is being hailed a hero as investigators look into what motivated artan, a somali refugee. two attacks, was it terrorism and was it home grown? investigators are searching through the suspect's home for clues while senior law enforcement officials tell pete

neighborhood forecast. conditions right where you live, right? >> and the first alert is for all the neighborhoods in our area. we'll see round one of rain during the day today and another round coming through tomorrow. and there will be periods of heavy rain. this time of year that can lead to slippery roads, if there are still leaves on the roads and the drains. be on the lookout for that. an extra element to deal with this morning. doppler radar shows the system slowly moving into the area. that's light rain that's just starting to move into southern chester county. a few very light rain showers in the upper lehigh valley. this first round of rain will be fairly light. scattered showers to start with you but we'll get some steadier rain during the day. and look at these temperatures, much warmer than yesterday. a couple neighborhoods in new jersey are 32 degrees warmer than yesterday at this time. it's 47 right now for new jersey, the lehigh valley, the suburbs are right at 50 degrees
