her missing to police. but investigators say packer had moved her family to this home in quakertown a short time after she vanished. she failed to give them pictures of grace so they could begin searching for their daughter. >> four months after grace packer was reported missing by her mother, two hunters found her dismembered remains in bear creek township. >> reporter: it took weeks to identify the remains of grace. with grace's mother in jail on endangerment charges, she is named as a person of interest but they're not saying what all they're looking at. prosecutors from all three counties want you to take a good look at grace, her mother sarah and call them if you ever saw the two together, if you ever saw any activity around the ing

tonight, it is pretty clear, temperatures dropping into the 30s, which is not bad for this time of the year, of course the wind will make it feel a little cooler, close to 28 degrees at the lehigh valley tomorrow morning, which is well above average for this time of year, and it doesn't even get down to freezing for most of the night at the jersey shore. we'll talk more about some pretty significant rain that's going to be imagining at least a part of the holiday weekend. as we mentioned, the eagles gearing up for a thursday night showdown and it's a big one in south philly. >> and nbc10 is the only place you'll be able to watch the game against the giants, keith jones live ahead of all the action tonight. >> reporter: glenn wasn't kidding, the wind is whipping around here, and we're feeling it, as the clouds -- there's no clouds, actually, but as the sun begins to set, it's getting a little colder out here.

area, 20-mile-per-hour winds in philadelphia, 21 in delaware despite the temperature here 50 degrees. fox chase, port richmond, society hill, also 48 degrees. and even that is above the average high for this time of the year. as we go through the night tonight, pretty good night for football, temperatures dropping into the 30s, the wind is the main issue, as keith was showing you earlier, 10 to 20-mile-per-hour winds, that will make it feel a little bit cooler, as it swirls around those stadiums. we have some clouds coming in from the northwest, but it's got nothing to do with any kind of storm that's going to be affecting us. this is the one, middle of the country out in the rockies, and that's going to take a while to

get here. tomorrow 50 degrees out in fairmount, 55 in chesnutt hill. lows in the 20s in some places, the high will be 47 degrees in allentown. all of these numbers are above average for this time of the year. newark, delaware getting up to 52 degrees, vorhees township, 49. as you can see on the future cast, late friday the clouds start to increase, friday night, it increases more and by saturday morning, we have got some rain moving in, and in this case, it looks like it's a fairly steady rain, especially during the morning hours, promise into the early afternoon, some computer models show that, but they also show clearing, later in the day, and there will be no precipitation christmas eve itself. as temperatures drop through the 40s and into the 30s, it's not

studios, nbc10 meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz, it seems to have dropped in temperatures and the wind is picking up. >> the temperature is going to keep going down and the wind is going to be up there, 16 miles an hour sustained now, but other parts of the area are even windier, and we're seeing gusts of 28 miles an hour in philadelphia. we may see gusting 30 in parts of the area as we go through the game. the temperature actually not all that low for this time of the year, of course that ten to 20-mile-per-hour wind making it feel a little colder, in late december games, especially night games. but i think you can handle it, keith. >> reporter: i think you consider both these teams used to cold weather, the first time of the year perhaps, but nbc10 is the only place you can watch out. we want to tell you all about what we have in store grow.

wind. bridgeville s georgetown, 54, rehoboth beach at 55 degrees. those are well above average temperatures. look at these wind gusts, 35 degrees in philadelphia, 30 in mt. holly and the wind isn't going to diminish that much this evening, so the temperature going from around freezing, pottstown, allentown, 23 degrees by 11:00 tonight. so you need to bundle up for that, because you're not getting any help from any summer. but we're not going down into the single digits like we did a week ago or so. we have clouds that are coming in, but no precipitation, there is a good bit coming out of the rockies, into the plains states, and that's a system that's going to be coming through on saturday. as we go through friday, you can see the temperatures going well into the 40s, to near 50 degrees, again, lots of surge,

then tsurge, -- lots of sunshine. then the clouds start to come in saturday night, the temperatures well above freezing, and at 9:00 a.m., it's raining just about everywhere. but it's 50 degrees in atlantic city and cape may, so warmer air is going to be coming in. then by noontime, it's already started to end by about 2:00, 3:00, it's offshore, setting us up for some dry weather on christmas eve. as you saw, the rain is long gone by 6:00, 45 in philadelphia, dropping to 58 by 10:00, and christmas day itself, we're talking about lots of sunshine, temperatures not all that cold to start off, not a lot of wind either, and getting into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees, for new year's, it's a different story, looks like it's going to turn colder, upper 20s, but it looks dry.

season. >> so she contacted nbc 10 responds and we put reporter harry hairston on the case. how did you do, harry? >> we got involved, and here's the deal. this was supposed to be a quick trip to celebrate the holidays and a special birthday, but it almost didn't happen. >> reporter: lonnie jaffey purchased airline tickets through expedia online. celebrate her mother's birthday, then fly back to philly the same day. >> i planned ahead for these tickets, that's why i paid for them in may so we could all be together. >> reporter: but she says a few months later, she got disturbing news. >> in september, i got an e-mail from expedia that had said that my husband was bumped off the flight. >> reporter: she tells us that's when she called expedia to find out why and the company told her the flight was overbooked and
