we're talking about temperatures into the 60s. there's still a good bit of snow on the ground. looks pretty from high above and of course it's cleared out from the streets. it's even cleared out from the sand at the shore. this is cape may. they had some of the most snow, six to eight inches on saturday, parts of southern delaware had even more but a lot of that is already started to melt despite the temperatures staying in the 20s. in delaware, itself, the northern portion of the state only had an inch or two. the southern portion some places had over a foot. right now it's 24 in wilmington and in glasgow, 23 in newark and middletown, 23. farther to the south you can see the southerly winds trying to warm things up a little bit so it's not as cold as it was this morning obviously. and tomorrow morning will not be as cold as this morning either.
4:19 pm
but we still have a little bit of wind making it feel like it's in the single digits that is early this evening and later on it doesn't really change that much. by 6:00 a.m. most places are feeling like they're in the teens, which is considerable improvement from what we saw yesterday when we saw below zero. feels like temperatures then. tomorrow afternoon in the 20s to near 30 degrees. again that's still cold for this time of the year, but it's not as cold as the last couple days. average high is 40, about 23 for the high today, 39 tomorrow, 52 wednesday, 65 degrees on thursday. now we have a fair amount of clouds here. the area we're watching for precipitation is near chicago and if that comes in fast enough before we warmup enough then we
