members who already lived here as they get ready to finally welcome their families home. she joins us live. >> reporter: i just got back from spending time with the members of the alsani family. it was a limb over a week ago, when their family was turned away after arrive agent the u.s. they were ready for them, even had a house for them. >> reporter: at the home in allentown, they're keeping busy preparing food for a welcome they hope will happen. did you do all of this last time? >> last time, i didn't have the chance because by 9:00 i got the call. >> reporter: after the president's executive order preventing citizens from seven countries from entering. after a friday night court ruling, they're trying again. >> you can hear it in their

died. >> reporter: family, friends, even firefighters gathered tonight for a vigil. i just want you to see that there are balloons in front of the home, and if you look up, the windows are still boarded up, the home is under construction, and while that fire may have happened a year ago, they feel like it happened just yesterday. sanfo sanford harlin, one year ago today he rushed back into his burning home to save his father. the 12-year-old didn't know his father had already jumped from a second story window to escape the flames. sanford died in the fire. the community has rallied around the family ever since, today they return to the home to mark the somber anniversary.
