right now there are some power outages in the area as well. this storm raced quickly through other parts of our area today. the lehigh valley took a pounding. it moved by so fast, it missed some places entirely. now the rain is gone from our entire area. here's a live look at the flags at the ara mark building in center city philadelphia. >> the flags have to change, right now they're blowing this way that's a southwest wind on the warmer side. once we get a northwest wind then it's getting colder. mostly dry across the area, a little bit of light rain far to the south in sussex county in delaware and cape may point. that is about it. we did have a pretty strong line of thunderstorms move through the area, it was much stronger

further to the south in delaware and south jersey. these are the storm reports wind damage reports, dozens of them in maryland, delaware and extreme south jersey. many parts of our area were fortunate it weakened. the whole line moved out so fast, it moved ahead of the upper air support for this. as we go through the evening, there may be a few showers around, the cold front will bring the colder air still hasn't come through yet. it will during the night. and then it's cold enough for snow. and there may be some parts of the area, i'll show you that coming up in a few minutes. dozens of donors have come forward to help fund repairs to the jewish cemetery targeted by vandals. donations total $155,000. hundreds of head stones in

wyssinoming were dablged over the weekend. they haven't determined who is responsible. this is a topic president trump addressed last night. >> we may be a nation divided on policies. we are a country that stands united in condemning hate and evil in all of its very ugly form forms. >> president trump began his speech last night, condemning recent threats against jewish community centers and vandalism. the comments come as philadelphia police search for suspects in a vandalism case at a jewish cemetery in wyssinoming. josh shapiro met with the president before his address last night. he came out of the meeting feeling confused. the president spoke against the acts of vandalism, but then said sometimes the threats are coming from the reverse. >> he believes these acts to be

reprehensible. what i'm concerned about is, the use of his language to say sometimes the reverse is true. and speaking without that moral clarity, and leaving open the opportunity for the wrong people to be able to misinterpret or interpret what he really meant there. >> we called the white house for clarification, we were told we do not know all of the facts rart regarding these acts of violence. as such, nothing can be disguarded in this regard. people from our area are offering to work with president trump to improve our roads and bridges. that sound signals the end of a record breaking day on wall street. stocks surged after president trump reaffirmed plans to cut taxes.

the dow closed above 21,000 points for the first time ever. the biggest jump since november. racism was involved in the conviction of two african-american workers punished for the salvation army collapse. they point to the fact that other key figures who were white were not charged. griffin campbell and shawn benshot were sentenced to long prison terms for their roles in the collapse of the building that killed several people. last month he announced he won't seek another term. 2 1/2 years after his arrest, a burlington county firefighter has been found not guilty of setting fire to a

vacant auto body shop. he was charged with arson but a jury has found him not guilty. the bucks county man accused of raping a teenager gifted to him from an amish family is allowed to sell his house. a total of 11 girls were found in lee kaplan's house last year. in bucks county, two sisters claim they were sexually abused as children by william thomas thomas used to baby-sit them when they lived in levittown. they want to encourage others who may have been abused by thomas to come forward. >> i hope that anyone else that was affected by this man, please step up, you will be heard i

some south jersey students involved in a controversy over the n word are getting men toured by a broadway star. they will perform the musical rag time this month. civil rights leaders asked to stop the play or take out the n word, students fought to keep the play as is. on friday, brian stokes mitchell will help students with the racially charged words in that script a major assist from jim kenny at city hall today. >> a lot of tricky things have gone on at city hall. hopefully this shot will be one of them. ♪ >> nothing but net. kenny showing off his skills.

kind of stabilized the atmosphere, this is what we have left, a little bit of light rain in parts of southern delaware, that will continue for a little while, the front causing all of this hasn't even come back look at that, there's snow getting toward chicago. which went the entire two months without getting any. january and february, first time ever, and now the snow in march. it's in the 60s, way above average, we set a couple records today, not quite in philadelphia, we were close with 74 degrees. lehigh valley. this is an area that could see a little snow by friday morning, still in the 60s sinking springs 64. kutztown 60, 62 in whitehall, allentown. nazareth, 63 degrees in easton. it's pretty unusual temperatures for this time of the year. our official high was 64, with

68 yesterday. 54 tomorrow, with wind, a lot of wind 37 saturday. 37 for the high temperature. now, tomorrow, it's closer to average, but it's windy, northwest 20 to 30 miles an hour. 46 in elwood, 46 in reading, look at the low temperatures, however it's going to be in the morning, it's not going to warm unvery much during the day. don't assume it's going to go up 20 degrees like it often does. not tomorrow. longport, you'll be the same as the inland areas. it's a land breeze during the day tomorrow. there's that area of snow across the great lakes it's a quick moving weak disturbance coming through. and believe it or not, it's going to be cold enough for snow in parts of the area, maybe even into delaware and south jersey.

this system did get down pretty far to the south. could be a little bit of a mixture of wet snow and rain temperatures probably above freezing. it will melt on the roads. and there we are even in the afternoon, could be a little bit of a mixture toward the coast. things are really going to change. look at friday and saturday. these are the high temperatures, by saturday morning we're talking about teens in philadelphia and maybe single digits in the lehigh valley, close to it at least. that's cold. there's friday, the mix of wet snow and some rain. sunday not quite as cold in the afternoon. but that is still much colder than what we've been seeing, especially compared to this record warmth. >> that's for sure, glenn. thanks. local lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, offering to
