nbc 10 breaking news. we start with the attempted kidnapping of a woman from an apartment complex in delaware. tonight nbc 10 has confirmed that this is connected to a previous kidnapping attempt in new castle county. let's get right to nbc 10's brendan hudson. he arrived at the bluffs apartments about an hour ago. what have you been able to find

out? >> here's the deal. police just left this parking lot. we saw a couple of officers walk out of this apartment building here on the end where they had crime scene tape up. they will not tell us where the exact confrontation happened between the suspect and the victim. the same suspect as the one from the other two delaware apartment kidnappings. however, this time another resident scared the suspect off before he could commit the crime. skyforce 10 shows you the police presence here at the bluffs apartments on sheldon drive in newark. new castle county police were called around 7:00 p.m. the armed suspect approached her as she walked out of her apartment. the suspect pointed his gun, demanded money and when they arrived at the victim's apartment, another adult answered the door and the robber r ran away. all of these happened either late sunday or monday. just to give you an idea where we are from the other two

child. >> reporter: upper darby police commending the day care administration for doing the right thing and coming forward immediately. they've always had cameras here, but this is firsthand proof of how important and valuable these cameras really are. i'm denise nakano, nbc 10 news. we are keeping our eye on the radar for the morning commute. look at this. depending on where you live, you could see rain on your drive to school or to work, so let's bring in first alert meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz. we're here for a warm-up, too. >> we'll be getting into the 60s tomorr tomorrow. we also have a lot of rain in pennsylvania here, especially moving to the east. the pennsylvania areas have a much better chance of rain in the morning. in is a pretty large area of rain. most of it is on the light side, but once it starts we could get a few hours of it. 5:00 a.m. through 9:00 a.m. the temperatures kind of mild for this time of the day at this

investigation. take a look. police found pennsylvania i.d. cards and driver's licenses with the pairs' faces on them but with a bunch of different names. officers called the names on the cards, they said credit cards have been opened in their names and unauthorized transactions have also been made. >> we learn to think and not react. god allows us that. >> neighbors came together in philadelphia's eastwick neighborhood to remember a young man shot to death over the weekend. police say sibri davis was in a car with a 15-year-old boy when a person pulled up and shot them both. davis died but the other victim remains in critical condition tonight. poson hostage during a sixers game.to t e.r. burn sw

in lancaster county two children are in the hospital after drinking what appears to be tainted apple juice. they were at a birthday party at

the star buffet and grill on friday. after drinking the juice they both immediately got sick. listen to this. they suffered blisters to the insides of their mouths. state health officials are testing the liquid. a south jersey boy is being hailed a hero. we first told but the marlton boy's story friday night at 11: 11:00. hear how calm the 7-year-old was when he made the 911 call that helped save his mother's life. >> 911. where's your emergency? >> my mommy is -- >> is she in the chair or on the floor? >> she's on the floor. >> rocco called 911 after his mom motioned to him that she couldn't breathe. he stayed on the phone with the dispatcher nine minutes until paramedics arrived. doctors say if not for rocco his mother may not have survived. listen to this, tonight a

talking snow. hold on a second. let's bring in meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz. something wrong with the teleprompter. snow, glenn? >> it's march. first half of march. and we get snow in march. 10 out of the last 16 years we've had snow in march. it's not unusual at all. flags blowing in warm air tonight, temperatures in the 40s just about everywhere. and we have rain moving in. and yes, just rain. and it's mostly for our pennsylvania counties and central new jersey the way it's going pretty much straight west to east. most of it is on the light side, but look at that thing. a line of severe thunderstorms approaching illinois. here's what this first area is going to do. right for the morning rush. going to be damp. especially again from philadelphia north. it's not going to last all morning let alone all day. a lot of clouds tomorrow. any breaks of sunshine will

allow temperatures to go into the 60s except at the shore. and the next area starts to come in. that's tomorrow night. that line of thunderstorms by tomorrow in the middle of the night may not be that strong. but we get another shot at some rain, much needed rain. by wednesday morning, it's all gone and we have wind and it's mild. as we go through the night, you see these temperatures staying all above freezing, but by the morning rush, it's raining across most of the area except for atlantic city. as we go through the afternoon, look at these temperatures getting into the 60s most areas again except the shore. but you don't see any rain in the afternoon. afternoon rush looks dry and warm. and in the evening we start seeing the rain showing up again in allentown and reading as that next batch comes in. the next three days, warm, warm, not so cold. there's the rain tuesday morning

and then again tuesday evening. we drop the temperatures ten degrees on thursday, but those are still above normal temperature. so we've got a couple of pretty warm days here. not going to last into the weekend. look how much colder it is on friday and we have the threat of some snow. this first system is kind of light. snow lehigh, 'burbs, those are the high temperatures, like this past weekend. there's the more substantial storm and looks like it will be cold enough for snow just about anywhere. >> look forward to that, glenn. next a dream team cast going all-in on a movie deal. plus chance the rapper delivers in a huge way. the big donation for his hometown.
