a deadly crash claimed a young woman's life in philadelphia's andorra neighborhood. it happened around 12:30 a.m. the driver hit a deer and lost control and then hit a utility pole. the crash ripped the car into two, and the 23-year-old woman in the passenger seat died. the driver suffered serious injuries. turning now to our weather. a pretty spectacular sunday. these women soaked in the sunshine while walking their dog along the art museum. definitely a nice break from all the dreary days we've seen lately. and it's shaping up to be a pretty nice evening as well. here's a live look over the city from our camera atop the lowe's hotel. get out and enjoy it while you can, because the first alert weather team is tracking a rainy

stretch for the week ahead. for more on the timing of that, let's check in with meteorologist erica martin and the first alert neighborhood neighborhood. >> all right, denise. we do have a bit of a see-saw effect for this entire week ahead so get ready as denise mentioned to have the rain showers on and off. in fact, some thunderstorms as well, but right now let's enjoy fair weather clouds. current temperature 62 degrees and the winds coming out of the west at 10 miles per hour. we topped out at 63 in philadelphia and neighborhoods in and around philadelphia seeing a lot of 60s. fox chase 62 and chestnut hill, a bit warmer at 63 degrees for you. for the lehigh vale, lots of seeing lots of 60s. walnut port upper 50s and bethlehem 61 along with nazareth and easton so overall a pretty nice evening. next three days, look at this trend here. again, i say see-saw. it's going to be up here and temperatures are going to be in the upper 60s, but we do have rain coming in on the second

half of your monday into tuesday. tracking thunderstorms on tuesday, even though temperatures will start to climb into the 70s, but by wednesday it looks like partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, so not that bad by wednesday. denise, back for you. >> erica, thank you. an investigation is under way after an abandoned warehouse went up in flames this morning. this video was sent in by a viewer. crews were called to the warehouse on south 11th street in reading around 9:30 this morning. no injuries were report. a town hall meeting with u.s. representative dwight evans is just wrapping up tonight in philadelphia. representative evans addressed his constituents about what he's done during his first 90 days in office. voters raised concerns about president trump's proposed budget and lingering problems with obamacare, and with such tensions on capitol hill, evans was asked what the strategy is for democrats moving forward. >> i think we've been holding our own so at the end of the day i have my own personal feelings,

but at the end of the day we're trying to figure out ways how do we still meet the needs of the peep. >> representative evans says voters are making an impact by organizing protests and flooding congress with calls and e-mails. a man suspected of holding up four banks in delaware is now under arrest. a teller called 911 after recognizing the wanted man at a newark bank, and police say officers arrived at chased nicholas vaughn as he sped away from the bank on friday. the car crossed into maryland where state police took vaughn into custody. he's now awaiting extradition to delaware. more than a week after a no vote on the republican plan to repeal and replace obamacare and president trump continues his plan. the president tweeting this message out today. talks on repealing and replacing obamacare are and have been going on and will continue until such time as a deal is hopefully struck. history could be made this week

if president trump's supreme court nominee judge neil gorsuch is not confirmed. the judiciary committee is expected to approve him tomorrow, but in the full senate nearly 20 democrats oppose the nomination. the vote was the republican talking point of this morning's political news shows. >> neil gorsuch will be confirmed this week. how that happens really depends on our democratic friends. how many of them are willing to oppose cloture on a partisan basis to kill a supreme court nominee? >> when gorsuch refused to answer the most rudimentary questions in the hearings there was a seismic change in my caucus. >> if republicans fail to get enough votes to put down an expected democratic filibuster, the gop will have to decide whether to change the rules to allow for a simple majority vote. well, the congregation of a west philadelphia church celebrated its 50th anniversary by re-enacting a moment in history. a motorcade of cars travel from

you can see a woman there filling up her vehicle when someone jumps into the driver's seat. the woman then fights back and even spraying the carjacker with gasoline. the suspect eventually got away after dragging the woman a short distance. the car was later found without the carjacker. well, people in parts of colombia are digging out after a landslide counting the dead and searching for survivors. at least 200 people are dead. 178 people are missing and more than 200 others are hurt. heavy rains caused several rivers to overflow pushing mud and rock on to buildings and roads. it happened around midnight saturday while most people were asleep. survivors slept in tents and desperately searched for missing loved ones. still ahead, the wait is over. today a new place for families to celebrate their culture opened in our area.

through late tomorrow because we do have some rain on the way so it looks like the rain will definitely cause a washout by monday night into tuesday night. this will be a pretty fairly long event as far as i'm concerned. 18 to 24 hours of rain. meantime, right now, current temperature is 62 degrees in philadelphia. coatsville currently at 59 and wilmington at 62 and mt. holly 61 degrees, and allentown also at 61, so conditions are really comfortable. current winds are coming out of northwest and west, and notice we're seeing moderate wind speeds for philadelphia and wilmington and calmer winds for millville and dover air force base. these winds are going to start to pick up later tomorrow in into tuesday, but for right now, at least the winds are certainly diminishing quite a bit. satellite and radar image picking up on some mid and high level clouds. you can see that's always telling us that we do have the

higher clouds sliding into place and moving in from the northwest to the southeast so more clouds for the lehigh valley. it looks like burks county is also getting more clouds and jersey shore seeing more clouds and enjoy the rest of your evening because i'm tracking this system that's moving in from the southwest developing very quickly. it's going to be a pretty strong system as they continue to work its way northeastward, but in the meantime overnight lows are going to keep it into the upper 30s and low 40s for tonight and philadelphia expected overnight low 43 degrees and trenton 42 is and allentown 39 and wilmington in the mid-40s and dover 43 is your expected overnight low. atlantic city a little achilier and not that bad for you and not that low in the 40s. hour-by-hour forecast picking up on the system moving in from the southwest to the northeast. i'll time this out with a few pause points because conditions will remain dry at least from tomorrow evening. we start to see rain picking up

from southwest to northeast and do i think we'll see the stronger downpours due to the overnight monday into tuesday morning and you could see some issues for your early tuesday morning commute and this system will clear out by about 8:00, 9:00 p.m. first on tuesday and the ten day on 10 brings us a see-saw as far as i'm concerned in the weather department because on tuesday we'll see low 70s with the threat of thunderstorms and then by wednesday temperatures in the mid-60s and a mix of sun and clouds and not all that bad. that's going to be my pick of the workweek and thunderstorms return on thursday and low 60s and mid to upper 50s on friday and then by saturday and sunday it looks like conditions are going to improve just a bit as we climb into the 60s. home opener on friday and 56 degrees with the threat of some showers. here's danny with more information in sports. >> the april showers want the may flowers. hear from the fils as they
