girls pike creek neighborhood investigating. police say it appears the 4-year-old was playing outside on this block when a man approached her in a car, grabbed her, and drove away. one of those children told me the suspect literally scooped the girl off of the street. they're now searching for a suspect, a dark male with dark hair and a dark colored sedan. she was located in a nearby park about two hours after the reported abduction. police continue to search for that suspect. they are asking for people near banning park in wilmington and in pike creek to look out for any surveillance video that may show this suspect in the kidnapping. wilmington and delaware has seen a rash of kidnapping in the past couple weeks. we'll keep digging for more detames but that 4-year-old

found safe in a nearby park. live in delaware, nbc 10 news. our other big story tonight, the damage from this afternoon storms. heavy wind and strong rain -- this one fell right on a car. two people were injured but told they should be okay. this time because of flooding. cars got stuck in the mud. >> montgomery county. this company lost its roof but employees were able to get out safely, before it came crashing down. >> drew, big clean up there. >> reporter: that's right and they're still being cautious here tonight. the tape is up blocking people from the building. that's because parts of the roof are still dangling from the edge. they had to find a different way to get home because their cars

are under the big pile of debris. there is roofing material scattered all over the place at the top of union hill road. >> it was like a wind tunnel. >> she was looking out the window during the storm when she noticed something was haptpenin near the roof. >> we ran in the back. >> all 22 employees here at the technology building safely evacuated. they took in the scene from the parking lot. then later helped clean up some of the mess. >> scattered across the parking lot. >> reporter: rescue crews made sure nobody was in any cars. >> the debris is basically going in one direction here. >> a volunteer who plans to call in reports to the national weather serviceicize thestrated line wind blew threw. later a bright rainbow appeared

numerous tree limbs down. townsend and new castkas castle power lines down. a lot of places you can see and the strongest wind gust was 64 miles per hour during the afternoon np storms are gone. we have a few showers moving west to southeast but look at that mess. there's snow to the north and rain to the south and by the time the weather gets in here, this is how it's going to feel. it's going to feel close to freezing when you add the clouds and the wind and the low temperatures. also some rain. not great news for the phillys. get more detail on that and great weather behind that coming up. well, syria isn't the only international order of business for president trump tonight. he's hosting the chinese president in florida. the two leaders meeting for a

three-day summit. president trump is expected to lean on china against north korea ambitions. a monumental rule change on capitol hill is paving the way for president trump's supreme court nominee. senate republicans invoked the nuclear option. meaning gorsuch only needs 51 votes. a full senate vote is scheduled for around 11:30 this morning. he will fill the seat vacated by the late antonin scalia. this is the first time the nuclear option has been used for a supreme court nominee. >> new jersey transit will be back up tomorrow just days after a train derailed there. as new jersey chris christie

pushes for more oversight. he's asking to push for hearings to quote hold amtrak accountability and asking nnl nj transit to with hold funds. the northeast corridor is safe. today a couple entered pleas on child endangerment. that man allegedly fathered two children with one of the underaged girls. she pleaded guilty. her husband david entered a no contest plea. the couple and their nine daughters were found living with lee capline in his home last year. authorities believe he sexually assaulted six of the girls. his trial is set for next month. police in trenton are investigating reports that a 5-year-old special needs student was assaulted on her school bus last week on the girl's way home

the meteorologist has move away. if i could throw a 90-degree day in there. this is the temperature trend for next week. a pair of 80s to start the week off. and then back the 60s. the average high is apv average once we hit monday. how rare is it to get 80s in april? the last 80-degree day was in 2016. so it's been a while. average first 80 is june 4. the record for the high in april is 95. nowhere near that. they all time high, 106. we're going to enjoy them and take them to the bank.

a wish come true tonight for a township girl who's been in and out of the hospital. >> she went to broadway, not to perform, but to see the hottest show in town, "hamilton." it's been a tough year for maddy banks and her battle with cystric fib roesz. she missed a class trip to see the musical on broadway. when the nonprofit found out, they gave her tickets to see the show. >> it will be amazing and help my spirits and keep moving
