morning. he had no way of stopping the two armed suspects that forced him into his home. >> i had a handgun i thought i could use but they were smarter than me. >> they taped him to a kitchen chair and ransacked his home stealing his safe with cash and expensive jewelry inside. >> they have been watching this place for not just one day. >> reporter: they say the phone wires to the home were cut. after he managed to break free he went up to a neighbor's home for help. they had taken off in his classic cadillac. it is baby blue in color with dark blue top and spoked hub caps. bli pete has his own ideas about who

still living with my parents, no prospect for any sort of future. frein is accused of killing a trooper and injuring another. he faces the death penalty. a father accused of murdering his own son. he killed his three-year-old son and reported him missing. police found the boy's body in a park in october of 2015. a judge says he will rule tomorrow on whether three teenaged girls should be held responsible for the death of a classmate. amy joyner francis had a preexisting heart condition. the judge heard the nonjury trial. federal judge wants seth williams trial to start as early

hospital proved to be quite the escape artest. watch as he found his way through several doors. he push open the first door and pulled open the handle of the second door. they caught up with him. he was resting comfortably in a neighbor's yard. high honors for six women at the top. an award ceremony gave kudos to some of the top latino women in the business world. the businesswomen are all leaders in their field and they believe being role models for other women is one of their top responsibilities. >> all right. thank you. the easter bunny is making an early stop for the fourth annual rabbit run. it supports an organization helping improve the lives of people living with parkinson's

disease. thank you both for being here. you started with symptoms about ten years ago? >> yes. i was noticiing my handwriting was getting very small and i was not able to type any longer. putting an enlope was hard. i was mistreated until 2011 someone said athii think you ha parkinson's. they said if it works you have it. the drug can be worse than the disease itself. >> that decision was interesting

because you opted to do something else. tell us what you did instead of taking the drug. >> well, we researched information that my daughter had in it. so my husband and i went out to cleveland and met with dr. alberts and met on protocol. i did spin class three times a week. after about six weeks i noticed my handwriting coming back, t e typing better. my walk was getting better. i thought we are onto something here. >> tell me how it impacted your life. are you still practicing as an attorney? >> no. i was unable to do that. pa parkinson's freezes the movement in my body. without exercise i lose my

mobility. if i don't move it i lose it kind of. what we do is fund research for exercise and programs for therapies for patients. >> and april is parkinson's awareness month. what are some of the misconceptions out there about the disease? >> probably the biggest misconception is it is a disease only of old people. easily 15% of people have onset as early as late 20s like michael fox or certainly at jody's age in her late 40s. there are a lot of people who have parkinson's disease and don't realize it. >> you devoted almost 40 years of your life -- >> i'm not that old. >> tell me the improvements you have seen over the years. >> there is no question we
