frein trial saw photos of the abandoned hangar where the cop killer was captured. police found a journal that frein was keeping. in it they said at one point during the manhunt police were as close as a football field away from him. he's accused of killing brian dixon and wounding alex douglas in an ambush outside the barracks. three years ago authorities captured him seven weeks later. >> hathfield police aursed a man accused of hiding in the bedroom of his wife's house. jason beck waited until the woman ask her boyfriend within the to sleep monday night and jumped out and maced the victim before beating and stabbing one of them. three children were in the house at the time. jurors in the case of a 3-year-old south jersey boy will get to go to the wounded area where the body was found.

a judge made the ruling today at a pretrial hearing. jury selection for the trial will begin tuesday. prosecutors allege he killed his 3-year-old son back in october of 2015. then reported him missing. police found the boy's body hours later not far from his father's home. the former daycare worker accused of shoving a 4-year-old girl down a floigt of stairs was arraigned today. a camera captured this in the act at the daycare center in delaware county. this is back in early march. you remember looking at this. she was charged with assault and child endangerment. warm enough along the river. . not a coat or even a jacket in sight.

union is joining a lawsuit over the the president's travel ban. they filed a freedom of information act demanding documents on implementation of the ban. it seeks records to how the ban was rolled out at philadelphia international airport where several travelers were refused to enter. the family was part of that that was blocked from entering the airport back in february after the president's initial executive order. they traveled from syria and were turned away while trying to visit family in allentown. the outrage continues over a man being dragged from a united airlines flight. a senator proposed a bull that stops airlines from forcibly removing passengers from overbook i overbooking. . the customers not cargo act protects fliers who have already boarded. instead airlines would have to ask passenger voluntarily leave. yesterday new jersey governor chris christie weighed in calling for the suspension of rules that allow airlines to

>> rosemary connors joins us live from the veteran's home. the car has been recovered tonight. >> reporter: there's that's right. it's not here. it's in a police garage because investigators want to get a a warrant to get inside that car and try to pick up more clues about the people who stole it. the victim himself just returned home a few moments ago. he was with investigators answering their questions trying to give them as much information as possible to track down the people responsible. >> they had guns and handcuffed me, threw me on the floor, i couldn't get up. >> reporter: he thought his life was over. a veteran of the korean war, the armed robber shook his sense of security when they stormed into his house around 3:30 this morning. according to investigators, they stole jewelry and a large amount of money. then they took off in his 1985 mint condition cadillac. >> it sounds like they found your car. >> yeah, i was surprised.
