a south jersey teen's father is fuming and anxious for justice. >> it's crazy this think something would happen. >> live in the county. this happened just last night. >> it was 9:15 when they were playing basketball. their bicycles were right beside the court when an older boy jumped on one of the bikes and started to ride away. . . the kids gave chase and that's when the pellets started to fly. >> i just got shot in the head. and my wife went into a panic. >> the family rushed to find their a 15-year-old son bleeding from a pellet gun wound to the

tonight. we'll clear out overnight. that means we're going to be in the 60s again. the radar is sweeping the sky out here to the west of allentown. there are a few light showers. this associated with the storm system that's going to pass by. but but our atmosphere is pretty dry. whether or not we pick up a sprinkle is doubtful. this is not the system to watch. it's the one coming out of oklahoma. they are going to send us a gift for easter. that one will strengthen and head our way bringing us the chance of a shower late saturday night and again easter afternoon. so hour by hour, we're going to be going from the 60s down into the 40s. our high will be in the low and mid-60s. a mix of sun and clouds. here come the clouds on saturday. we'll make it to the 60s. could see a sprinkle come iing through the area. maybe even a heavy shower in some regions. then we clear out. sunday, your easter egg hunts are fine.

this home. a pennsylvania state trooper comes face to face with the man accuse d of shooting him in a deadly ambush attack. our camera catching alex douglas walking into the trial for eric frein. he's accused of killing another trooper and hiding in the woods for 48 days. >> randy gyllenhaal was inside the court today and is joining us now live. >> reporter: much of the testimony today focused on the details connecting the dots from things like dna evidence to ballistic samples, but the most compelling moment when was an emergency room doctor took the stage and helped save the loif of that trooper alex douglas. he arrived at the course house with a noticeable limp still recovering from his injuries.

the beverage industry is in court fighting that tax. penn stit's greek community events are being put on hold as they deal out with a recent death. all events scheduled for the next two weeks have been cancelled. leaders of the school's f fraternity system recently penned an open letter warning greek life could be eliminated permanently. the letter comes in the wake of the death of a new jersey native who was killed during pledge night in february. they apologized to the family saying they failed their son. l a pair of bills before state senators would equip police in pennsylvania with radar guns. one bill would allow any police force to use radar. the other would allow only full-time officers to use the technology. right now only pennsylvania state police are allowed to use radar. both bills advanced out of the state transportation committee yesterday.
