later this year. that worked out really well. today we topped out. so far 86 in philadelphia, denise burks it's all about this cooldown but another 72 hours. i'll get to the that in just one moment, so right now we're seeing 84 degrees in philadelphia. notice these winds right now coming out of the southwest. sustained wind speeds at 23 miles per hour gusting up to 31 miles per hour, and that's because question to have a cold front moving on through. so current temperatures in and around the philly metro area. chestnut hill currently 84 degrees along with fox chase. and manayunk also saying mid-80s right now. unseasonably warm. for the lehigh vale lots of upper 70s and low 8 ols. allentown at 81 and whitehall currently at 82 degrees. nazareth, easton and bethlehem all at 81 degrees and walnut port one degree cool ker at 80, but certainly nothing to complain about there. harmony hills 84, glass glue 84.

again, notice the directions of the wind, southwesterly. millsboro 82 degrees and milton currently in the mid-80s as well. that's pretty much the story around the entire delaware valley. right now the big story is the wind starting to increase. we're seeing sustained wind speeds at 22 miles per hour for bover, wildwood 18 for you. wilmington 15 and allentown really strong wind speeds, and that's because we do have that cold front sweeping on through, and it will start to bring us a couple of isolated showers, possibly one or two isolated thunderstorms, so a wider perspective here. this is a great image. notice this line of showers here and some embedded thunderstorms moving from northwest towards the southeast. that is that cold front moving on through, and because temperatures for today were so warm, it was really destabilizing the atmosphere. i don't think this is going to be a washout, but we do have showers moving on through. already getting some reports that we've been seeing some rain moving across parts of the philly metro area.
6:26 pm
so hour by hour forecast, we'll time this out for you starting at 6:00 p.m. notice that for the most part conditions are going to be pretty much dry. we're not expecting too much to go on right now, and that's because for the most part the atmosphere is dry but sometimes that cold front will squeeze out some showers as well as one or two isolated thunderstorms. overnight lows for tonight, the average low in philadelphia is 44 degrees and we're seeing 6 is for tonight and in philadelphia and wilmington 62 and allentown you're going to be warm, 57 degrees. mt. holly and trenton, your expected overnight low 60 for you, so have a great night and enjoy. and look at your ten-day outlook. tonight, overnight lows are going to look like what we're going to see on wednesday. once that cold front really settles into place. of 2 is the expected high temperature so we're going from 80s today and 80s tomorrow and then low 60s by wednesday. seasonable and then we go back into the 70s by thursday and then back into the 60s and that's going to be the trend, so
