probably here for fleet week. navy, we got the coast guard represented, marines. >> on a holiday weekend. but there's some weather to worry about. maybe not here in new york, right? >> top story this morning, the wild weather inle forecast for 61 million people. >> the midwest is where we'll see some that weather today. look at what we saw in goodland, kansas yesterday. we saw torrential downpours, hail, wend and we are going to see more severe weather redevelopment today. we have a very moderate risk of seeing some of those stronger storms redeveloping, especially back through parts of the country like missouri. woor looking at the tornado threat and severe storms, especially through the midwest. we can see very large hail, we've had severe thunderstorm

watches through the midwest, severe storms through kansas right now and we'll see move storms redevelop today. because of this setup, very moist, humid air, making it very uncomfortable down south. and we are going to see very large storms begin to develop later this afternoon. this area in red, that's where we have the moderate risk, we could see golf ball to soft balance size hail. also damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes are very likely. some of those could be very small tornadoes. tomorrow they move farther to the east. we're still looking at the risk of hail, perhaps not as big of hail tomorrow, but when you're imagining soft ball sized hail, you can imagine the damage that's going to cause. >> that's quite the swath of storms. >> it's a big break, yeah. >> president trump wrapping up his nine-day, five-nation trip
