>> reporter: the surgery was a success. he is expected to make a full recovery. he can't go home just yet. he had jouust parked his car. as he was getting his bags out a man in his 20s walked up and said something. the man pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the left side. blackwell stopped by the talk to us before going in to see him. >> i am quite received. when you hear something bad happened you always hold your breath. to hear surgery went well abdomen they suspect he will be fine is a relief. we look forward to continuing to work with him for many many years to come.

follow-up. a seven-year-old girl on life support in extremely critical condition and her brother accused of trying to kill her. police arrested 18-year-old hours after his young sister was found unconscious with a plastic bag over her head in the basement of her home. they believe he either strangled or suffocated her. according to a report by the philadelphia business journal the beverage tax brought in around $6.5 million in april. that's a drop from the previous month when they took in $7 million. >> the best women professional golfers from around the world will continue to compete at the jersey shore. the first round they will play will be tomorrow in atlantic
