tear down her system. >> [ bleep ] [ bleep ]. >> from lost jobs to ruined reputations how viral videos are leading to a new form of justice on social media. right now at 11:00, nbc 10 just learned new details about the shooting of a 6-year-old boy in wilmington. the child's principal says the victim was shot three times and the gunman was aiming at someone else when he hit the child and his mother. >> brandon hudson has been following the story and is live at the hospital where the boy is in critical condition tonight. >> reporter: new tonight we found out this child is a kin r kindergartener. and his teachers are with the family across the street. a 6-year-old boy and his mother

are injured in a double shooting at the intersections of spruce and east 6th streets. >> did you hear the gunshots? >> yes, seven times. >> reporter: turner who has lived here most of her life saw the 6-year-old after he was hit. >> he was bleeding. >> reporter: police say the boy's 31-year-old mother was hit in the left arm. officers searched a white suv riddled with bullet holes. the owner of this car showed us the damage. >> hit the metal of the door and the force of the bullet was so strong it cracked the window. >> reporter: the police found several shell casings. the shooting steps from a park and not far from a church and school. >> i am angry. i am hurt. and i want the people who did

this to come forward or to be caught. >> reporter: the principal at the child's school said counsellors will be on hand to help grieving children. police have not named persons of interest or suspects at this time. i'm brandon hudson, nbc 10 news. new at 11:00, a woman seven months pregnant is in the hospital after someone shot her in front of her home. nbc 10 on the scene in philadelphia just in the past half hour. police tell us the victim was an innocent bystander shot in the leg. she is in stable condition right now. police are looking for the shooter. also tonight, her story revealed the woman who could send bill cosby to prison takes the stance and the defense is trying to take down her testimony. we take a closer look at the testimony. >> this is the first time we

have seen her publicly. she came face-to-face with the man she says drugged and assaulted her. bill cosby silent in a black suit. his accuser, brave. the strong message today -- >> reporter: at time during the four hours of testimony, she was teary eyed. cosby sat with his hands folded sometimes looking down including when she said he gave her three blue pills to help her relax. she said i was trying to get my hands or legs to move but was frozen and then she says that cosby sexually assaulted her. later cosby's defense team worked to poke holes in her story. she admitted she continued to talk with the comedian saying i

activity in south parts of jersey. but for the most part it is winding down. we could see another quick shower moving through the lehigh valley or burks county. let's look from wilmington to salem and lower creeks that's where we are seeing the steadiest showers right now. sprinkles in winslow. and other than that we are quiet with cloud cover in the area. here's what we're looking at this area of low pressure yesterday was above toronto. it is moving off to the east. it's on the backside of it we're getting the showers in the back wash. by 1:00 in the morning, a few sprinkles out there. by the time you go to work at 7:00 we're just going to see cloud cover maybe an isolated sprinkle and a little bit of sunshine may peek through the clouds. we'll talk about that when i come back. in south jersey, a woman shot and killed a bus driver before taking her own life.

the woman killed the driver here at the bus garage in washington township. shortly after, she took her own life. we are working to find out the motive behind the shooting. now to division 2017. voer voe voters have decided who will be moving on. kim guadano will face off against phil murphy. camden voters went to the polls to choose their next mayor. frank moran topped the two other democrats. he will replace the current mayor. in atlantic city the race for mayor is too close to call tonight. 100 votes separating marty small

killed more than 100 people. an escaped prisoner who sent police on a two-day manhunt in bucks county is in custody tonight. someone spotted him sleeping in a pickup truck on county line road in warrenton. that forced a school district to go on lockdown. a few hours later. police got a 911 call saying he saw selby hiding in the bushes near a town home community. >> the police officer turned on county line road from kansas and i'm screaming at him he just crossed the road boo the neighborhood there. >> the officers surrounded selby and put him back in handcuffs. guilty on all counties that's the verdict against a man accused of sexually assaulting six girls in the same family. he was found guilty of 17 counts including child rain. he fathered who children with one of the girls. the parents gifted their oldest

daughter to him because he helped them out financially. a sentencing date has not been set. we are getting a first hand look at a project in montgomery county that commissioners will say will relieve traffic and improve safety. neighbors got to review the plans and talk about the project that includes adding new signals and turn lanes along with adding an eastbound lane between church and manna road. philadelphia firefighters and paramedics union has a new boss. he was sworn in tonight along with other union officers. nbc 10 was at the ceremony at the union hall in spring garden. marks won the election by a landslide. today marks 73 years since d-day. on june 6, 1941, 160,000 allied troops stormed the beaches of

normandy france essentially marking the beginning of the end of world war ii. a ceremony was held at the memorial in d.c. nearly 4500 americans were killed in the invasion. also tonight, social media outrage helps capture the kids who mocked and punched a man with disabilities. now we learned who of the teens could be responsible for another attack. you guys are booep [ bleep ] [ bleep ]. >> a profanity-laced tirade viewed more than 2 million times. now this local woman's behavior shedding a spotlight on the dangers of viral videos. packed in, overheated and nowhere to go. the subway disaster that had riders trying to claw their way out.

three boys who police say appear in this video punching a mentally challenged man in the face are in police custody tonight. the video shows a group of boys surrounding the man and repeatedly sucker punching him in the head. this is a friend of the victim. he says the attack also hit him hard. >> it sends chills up my body and really hurts. he doesn't deserve it. he's a good guy and he's very friendly. for them to do that to him, it's wrong. >> police picked up three boys ages 12 to 15 while they were at school today and they are looking for a fourth suspect. two of the suspects involved in the incident are also connected to an attack on a school principal who was hit in the face with a brick while trying to break up a fight. that video was shared all over social media to help find the attackers. it's the latest cautionary tale

55. only 47 up in the southern poconos, though. let's go hour by hour and get you ready for tomorrow and beyond. we will be looking at winds coming in out of the north. the temperature tomorrow only in the 60s. but, by thursday, we have clouds and sun and we make into the low and mid-70s and we start on friday, the forecast models bring a sprinkle through. i'm doubtful about that. and we are going to be in the low 80s on friday and hitting the 90s by the time we get into the second half of the weekend. 69 today, 65 tomorrow. but then we climb all the way up to 86 by saturday. we are going to see rain showers out there. 55 in philadelphia. south jersey, 52 and in delaware, 53 degrees. for tomorrow, we'll see clouds with a few peeks of sunshine. isolated sprinkle early.
