one pick for the second straight year. >> he calls himself dirty old santa. police say he was targeting kids, not bringing them gifts. the crime that landed him behind bars. nbc10 breaking news. that breaking news right now at 11:00, a robbery in delaware ends with chaos near the airport. i'm jim rosenfield. >> i'm jacqueline london. keith jones is live on the scene in southwest philadelphia where a police pursuit ended in a crash. >> reporter: it ended here behind me. let me step out of the way quick. the two guys were traveling on 95 northbound above this tall grass and crashed through it though. you can see where they ended up nearly totaling the car. both ran and one witness saw it all. panic at the airport. one man in custody, his hands behind his back, a trooper with a gun drawn. the getaway car a mercedes

smashed up. you could see the path the suspects took driving off 95 north on to an airport access road. state police searched for the second man. >> i saw the crash. i heard the sirens and looked up. he crashed through the median with all the plants. >> you could see one of the suspects run off with a state trooper hot on his tail. >> hopped the median and ran across. i saw all the cops running after him busting their butts. >> reporter: he said it looked like a movie. state police arrested both men who they say robbed a t-mobile store in new cas county, then led police on a chase across two states. back live now here at the scene. it appears at least all four tires on this thing are completely shredded in spite of that serious accident, in spite of the high speed chase. state police say no one was injured. live in philadelphia sbrnl airport, keith jones, "nbc10 news." tonight, the 76ers putting

at the end just as it's getting through the area about 10:00 to 11:00 in the morning. a warm night. a warm start to the day. and there's the rain. most likely toward the end of the morning rush and then we've got even heavier rain coming as we start the weekend remnants from that tropical storm. more on that coming up. >> new at 11:00, he calls himself dirty old santa. now he's facing charges for attempting to lure who he thought was a 14-year-old girl for sex. william mckinley was arrested after an undercover sting in did wear county. he made plans to meet an undercover cop posing as a girl at an ice cream shop. he was a seasonal employee at macy's in philadelphia but can't confirm if he played santa. >> a mother outraged after a peeping talk targets a girl inside a bucks county mall. the gir was in a stall at the

oxford valley mall tuesday afternoon when she saw a man's hand come under the stall holding a phone. she screamed and he ran off near the food court. we spoke with her mother this afternoon. >> to see your daughter, shaken like that and you're angry, you know, i mean, it could have been worse. you know? and all of us parents, you just never know. >> we're not identifying girl's mother to protect the child's identity. police say a witness who saw the man run off will be key to cracking this case. the senate republican plan to repeal and replace obamacare is no longer a secret tonight. the proposal includes medicaid reductions, defunds planned parenthood, eliminates the mandate requiring individuals to purchase insurance and offers tax credits to help people afford insurance while cutting taxes for the wealthy. demonstrators are holding a

24-hour vigil outside the office of pat toomey in old city. a banner which reads health care not wealth care toomey flew over the office this afternoon. those behind the banner says the snort hasn't held a town hall since 2013 and he can't ignore an airplane. in a conference call today, senator toomey defended the health care bill by attacking obama care. >> the spectacular failure of this plan that was predicted has in fact come to pass. in pennsylvania. we have premiums that have gone up 120%. 40% of pennsylvanians have a grand total of one choice. >> the plan doesn't completely strip away obamacare. states can't opt out of coverage for pre-existing conditions. and kids can stay on their parents' insurance till the age of 26. the state of missouri is filing a lawsuit against three drug manufacturing companies for fraud. two of them are based right here

in our area. endo health is. the suit claims the companies misrepresented the addictive risks of opioids they manufacture and sell. we reached out to both companies, janssen responsibled by saying they acted appropriately and warnings fda approved. no word from endo. >> a key witness takes the stand in seth williams federal corruption trial. businessman muhammad ali spent much of his time on witness stands describing a academics that he arced for williams and his girlfriend. prosecutors contend this was part of a quid pro quo arrangement and claim ali wanted williams to help him with problems he was having with the tsa at philadelphia international airport. williams is accused of accepting illegal gifts in exchange for legal favors. tonight, a juror in the bill cosby sexual assault trial breaks his silence.

for the first time, we're hearing from a juror in the bill cosby sexual assault case. he breaks his silence and takes us inside the jury room sharing his thoughts on the comedian's fate. >> my personal feeling is, whatever the man did, he has already paid his price.

paid, suffered. >> this comes five days after the jury announced they couldn't reach a verdict, forcing the judge to declare a mistrial. tonight we're getting a deeper understanding what went on behind closed doors. >> it comes as cosby reveals plans for a summer tour. nbc10's drew smith is live in our breaking news center. >> what's this tour all about? >> reporter: bill cosby's spoke man says the tour is on how to avoid sexual assault allegations while the prosecution will spend the summer peeping for a new trial. tonight we learned more about the tense disagreements that divided this jury. a juror takes us inside the emotional deliberations during the bill wouldy sexual assault trial. >> the tears came towards the end and it was so tense. >> reporter: the pittsburgh area man spoke anonymously to nbc station wpxi, explaining that the 12 men and women worked long days but were hopelessly split.

he had doubts about cosby accuser andrea con stand's story. very, very honest from his side. you could believe from his testimony what he did. but not from hers. >> this morning a spokesman announced on an alabama tv station cosby is planning town halls this summer to educate people. >> talk to young people because this is bigger than bill cosby. this issue can affect any young person especially athletes of today. >> bill has nothing to teach people. >> a local advocate for sexual assault victims called his plans sad. >> i don't think he thinks he did anything wrong. and so he's going to support that by training people how to avoid being accused. >> reporter: the juror who shared his thoughts thinks a retrial would be a waste of money. >> whatever the man did, he has already paid his price. >> d.a. kevin steele disagrees promising to retry the case as early as the fall.

one more development tonight. we can confirm montgomery county detectives are investigating a recording and photos taken inside a courtroom during the trial. that is against the rules and can carry serious punishment. drew smith, "nbc10 news." just in time for the weekend, the ocean drive bring over townsland's inlet in cape may county is back open. it connects avalon and sea isle city. close ford about 2 1/2 months. >> new jersey lawmakers are moving forward with a measure that would expand the state's family leave law. the assembly passed a bill that would increase family temporary disability benefits from six weeks to 12. it would also increase the amount of weekly benefits that someone could claim. the bill still needs approval in the senate. philadelphia's newest beer garden is open just in time for the first weekend of summer. fish town hops is on the riverwalk behind sugarhouse casino. along with local brews and

cocktails you can soak in breathtaking views of the ben franklin bridge. it was nice out there tonight. changes moving in for tomorrow and also the weekend. >> let's bring in first alert meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz. >> steamy tomorrow. you'll notice that change. the showers and thunderstorms are headed toward the reading area and lehigh valley. they moved in. the next area is already into west virginia. not especially heavy rain but it should get here for part of the morning rush. and then we have the remnants of tropical storm cindy still down south but moving in our direction. all the computer models are showing that it does come this way. and so we have a first alert out for all of our pennsylvania pa counties. parts of inninnew jersey and dee closest to the area. 3:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on saturday and we're talking about some tropical downpours here.

it's tropical moisture. >> more moisture coming in from the gulf of mexico. there it is. and it's going to be moving in for saturday morning. now, as we go into tomorrow night, we could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm from the heat and humidity of the day. be near 90, feeling close to 100. then here it comes. saturday morning, look at that area of rain. some tremendous rains but you can see it's not at the shore yet. by the time it gets there, it should weaken. there's 9:30. it's still raining, but it's not raining by noon. it's just in the morning. perhaps noontime right at the shore. but the rest of the weekend is looking good. how much rain? well, this one computer model just in now showing up to three inches of rain locally. here's potts town. lesser rain amounts as you head toward the shore.

this car is not going anywhere. the driver drove right into wet concrete? georgia. she said she had to swerve into the construction zone because a truck was coming straight at her. she was able to get out of the car but her car was already stuck. look at that. construction workers eventually used a jackhammer to remove the block of concrete and the car from the road. a lot of laughs from kids and parents during a sneak peek at despicable me 3 tonight put on by comcast. nbc10 gave away 20 tickets to lucky families for the screening at the prince theater in center city. comcast is the parent company of nbc10. the movie hits theaters a week from tomorrow. john, a big night. >> reporter: you saw the fans going crazy earlier. we're at the sixers draft headquarters in camden. next, one-on-one with the number
