could be a busy week in washington. senate republicans are beginning the final push towards a likely vote on their new health care bill coming up this week. but some gop lawmakers were pushing for that vote to be delayed. at the u.s. supreme court, it is the last day of the current term. we could see a decision on president trump's travel ban. and there's speculation that anthony kennedy may announce his retirement. and trump, after failing to admit the meddling in the election happened for a long time, is now accusing the obama administration for failing to do more to stop it. we're beginning with peter alexander. peter, good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning. the senate's health care overhaul is going to need major surgery if it's to pass by the end of this week. sources familiar with the president's role tell nbc news, he's been making personal calls to a handful of republican senators. one official saying, don't

discount his ability to persu e persuade. still, his is more of a support role in a party negotiating with very little room for error. this morning on the senate's health care bill, the president providing his prognosis. >> i don't think they're that far off. famous last words. but i think we're going to get there. >> reporter: and his prescription. >> i want to see a bill with heart. health care is a very complicated subject from the standpoint that you move it this way, this group doesn't like it. you have a very narrow path. >> reporter: the challenge balancing the competing interest on reluctant republicans on the right and those in the center, anxious about medicaid cuts. the gop can only afford to lose two senators or the bill fails. five oppose its current version. and both sides are voicing reservati reservations. >> there's no way we should be voting on this next week. i have a hard time believing wisconsin constituents or myself

will have enough time to evaluate this. >> it's hard for me to see the bill passing this week. that's up to the majority leader. >> right now, i'm undecided. >> reporter: for the senate's top republican mitch mcconnell and the white house, the tight timetable is part of the plan. compelling republicans to deliver on a seven-year-old programs to repeal obamacare. additional funding if the opioid epidemic and budgets for hospitals. >> we're going everything we can because it's so devastating for the middle class. >> reporter: president trump now not just attacking democrats of obstructionists, but accusing mr. obama of stealing his words when mr. obama criticized the meanness of the bill. >> he use midterm, mean. that was my term. i want to see -- speak from the

heart. i want to see a bill with heart. >> reporter: confirming he called the bill mean, doesn't make it easier for the republicans to vote for this bill. it's noted that a critical review from a nonpartisan congressional budget office is expected today. the number two senate republican john cornyn said the real final deadline isn't until the beginning of august. >> peter alexander, at the white house. thank you. there's new developments of russia's meddling in the presidential election. president trump accusing the obama administration, accusing the president of failing to act more forcefully. kristen welker has more on that part of the story. >> reporter: good morning to you. despite the intelligence community agreeing that russia meddled in last year's election. president trump has been reluctant to acknowledge that, calling it a hoax at one point.

but over the weekend, he seemed to finally acknowledge it, and student stop talking about it, using it as a reason to go after his predecessor, barack obama. president trump accusing his predecessor of not responding to russian hacking during the election. >> i heard for the first time that obama knew about russia a long time before the election. and he did nothing about it. >> reporter: the president may have been referencing a "washington post" article about russian president vladimir putin directly influencing that country's cyber attacks of the dnc. the report says how the obama administration struggled to respond. one top official telling "the washington post," i feel like we sort of choked. >> if he had the information, why didn't he do something about it. he should have done something about it. but you don't read that. it's quite sad. >> reporter: the president unloaded on twitter, slamming the former president on the russia matter in a series of tweets, despite the fact the

previous administration announced sanctions against russia back in december. with mr. obama saying he discussed the issue of russian hacking with president putin himself. >> our goal continues to be to send a clear message to russia or others, not to do this to us because we can do tough to you. >> reporter: even some democrats are questioning the obama administration's handling of the issue, with the top democrat on the house intelligence committee now saying president obama did not go far enough. >> i think the obama administration should have done more when it became clear that not only was russia intervening but it was being directed at the highest levels of the kremlin. >> reporter: while the president deals with persistent allegations that mr. trump's associates may have colluded for the win, mr. trump tried to stay on the subject, accusing his 2016 rival of collusion, tweeting hillary clinton colluded with the democratic party to beat crazy bernie sanders. is she allowed to collude?

unfair to bernie. the question for president trump now, what will he do to prevent russia or any other country from meddling in future u.s. elections? a number of lawmakers including republicans want him to get him tougher on russia to back a new round of sanctions, for example. all eyes will be on an upcoming meeting on a with vladimir putin next week. >> kristen welker, live at the white house. thank you. a lot of eyes on the u.s. supreme court this morning. it's the last day of the current term. there's two important unanswered question ps what's going to happen with president trump's controversial travel ban? and will justice anthony kennedy retire? nbc's justice correspondent, pete williams, is there. pete, good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. the usual trdrama on the last d when the remaining decisions are announced. this year, it doesn't involve the rulings, it's all about the travel ban and whether justice

kennedy is staying. two lower court rulings have blocked the administration from carrying out president trump's plan to issue visas for 90 days from 6 muslim countries. it's a matter of national security, says the white house. a 90-day pause to look at the visa background in those countries associated with terrorism. lower courts cited candidate trump's own words. >> donald j. trump is calling for a shutdown of muslims entering the united states. >> reporter: the justice department wans a hold on the rulings so the government can enforce the travel ban while it's an appeal. and the court's last day comes with speculation about a retirement. this year, friends of justice anthony kennedy says he has been thinking about it. he turns 81 in a month after 29 years on the supreme court. with four mostly conservative justices and four mostly liberal

ones, kennedy is often the decider, the man in the middle the kennedy plus the conservatives loosened the reins on corporate money campaigns, and strengthened gun rights. kennedy upheld abortion rights and use of the death penalty. candidates like ted cruz have cream dreamed about when he would step down. >> the next vacancy we have the ability to get back and restore our constitutional protections. >> reporter: groups that helped with the neil gorsuch nomination say they doubt kennedy will retire. the coming hours may provide the answer. >> pete williams for us. we have a little bit to chew on with nicolle wallace and josh earnest. good morning to both of you. let's start with health care. how is mitch mcconnell's strategy playing out? and with the tug-of-war going on

between moderates and conser conservati conservatives, who has the upper hand? >> i think peter's piece lays it to bear. if you make it feel like a repeal of obamacare, it tumbles bauds of the moderates. not just the moderates, they worry about the medicate dollars. they fall off. you if you put things back on top, it falls over from the weight. >> who has the most power right now? >> i would say there's more moderates. and people like ted cruz and rand paul are looking ahead to 2020. and it's almost like a staring match. i don't know if they're gettable. >> the president used the word mean in an interview to talk -- >> he's branded the health care bill. >> he used that for the house bill. how does this undercut his efforts to push this through using that word mean? >> it totally undercuts the efforts. we pinned our hopes to the idea that as the bill got implemented in 2009, the bill would become

more popular as people understood what was in it. the republicans have the opposite dynamic now. they're trying to ram through this bill before people know what's in it because as people understand what's in the bill and how they're affected by it, it will be less popular than it already is. >> you get the cbo score before the vote takes place. there will be more information for them to chew on. >> mcconnell's strategy is clear. he's trying to rush this before the fourth of july recess because it will take on more water. >> for a very long time, perf m president trump does not admit that the russians meddled in the election. now, he's willing to say, they meddled and if they did, it's your former boss' fault, president obama. looking back and according to this "washington post" story, president obama was aware that vladimir putin himself was directing some of that meddling. did president obama do enough? >> well, matt, what is -- what

makes it hard to take president trump's critique seriously is that we know what response was mobilized by the obama administration is something president trump was trying to undermine before he took office. >> even democrats are saying not enough happened. you have a top official quoted in "the washington post" story saying we choked on this. >> matt, the thing that people need to understand about this is it's totally unprecedented. it's not unusual for russia's -- russians to engage in trying to destabilize our democracy or mess around in cyberspace. it is unprecedented for them to hack the e-mails and release them with a clear political motive. what's important is that we learn theless lessons of what happened in 2016. we allowed people to cast their ballots to register and to have the votes counted without interference. but we need to go back and take a look at this hack and leak strategy that the russians used that did have an impact on the 2016 election. they can't do it again. >> anything else?

>> real quick. there's rumors that the supreme court judge may retire and announce it today. what kind of battle will there be to replace him? describe what will happen? >> there were some democrats that thought the fight over neil gorsuch was a wasted one. the real fight is the next one. kennedy is a swing voter that sides with the democrats. his vote is really important if you're on the left or in the middle. i'm hearing the rumors that pete williams is hearing. the thing that gives kennedy backers some confidence that a resignation would be sound under this president is the comfort that all sort of conservatives feel about the caliber and the quality of the man that donald trump already picked, neil gorsuch. but it terrifies people in the middle and on the left. >> we're reading tea leaves on this. >> tea leaves is all we got. >> nicolle, josh, thank you very much. a deadly ferry disaster.

a packed tourist boat began to take on water and rock back and forth. that happened before it zonk. gadi schwartz, good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning, matt. it was supposed to be a day of fun in colombia. the weekend destination wascolos celebrated a long, holiday weekend. but things took a deadly turn as that ferry took on water and went under in minutes. >> this dramatic video posted on social media, shows a four-deck ferry with 150 passengers onboard, rocking from side-to-side, as it started taking on water. >> translator: we were with our family when we started to hear screams and noise. and people started telling us about a boat four levels high that had gone out with a lot of people. >> reporter: people scramming to the top deck as the boat started to sink. everybody should be rushing out

there. this video sped up, as jet boats race to try to help. and chaos, as the ferry's bottom decks collapse. >> translator: people began to climb on to other people to get out. there were a lot of injured people. >> reporter: 99 people were rescued. dozens remain unaccounted for this morning. >> translator: it was incredible to see all of the survivors start arriving. everyone pulled together and started to help. >> reporter: divers spent the afternoon searching for missing passengers. survivors say the ferry was overcrowded and there were not enough life jackets for everyone onboard. divers are expected back in the water today to search for the missing. officials in colombia say they are still investigating the cause of the accident. hoda? matt? back to you. >> gaudi thank you very much. a nervous flight we showed you on the top of the show.

the plane was shaking so violently, the pilot told passengers to start praying. travelers aboard the flight from australia to malaysia, said they heard a loud bang before the shaking started. the bone-rattling vibration went on for two hours before the plane turned back and made a safe emergency landing. >> it was shuddering, shuddering. we thought it was going to go down. >> lots of people crying. lots of people pulling out the life jackets and preparing. we thought there was a good chance we were going to go down. >> airasia says the engineers are examining the plane for a technical issues. the passengers were transferred to the next available flight. can you imagine, two hours? >> two minutes is a long time. can you imagine sitting there for two hours? >> no. thank god they landed safely. let's get a first check of the weather. dylan is in for al today. >> good morning, guys. we have heat out west. it's part of the reason we saw

gabe gutierrez has more on that. good morning. >> reporter: hoda, good morning. half of the hot car deaths have happened here in texas. unfortuna unfortunately, it's something we hear about every summer. temperatures can skyrocket 20 degrees in just 10 minutes. this morning in texas, three tragic cases of children dying after being trapped in scorching hot cars. >> we have lost an important young man. >> reporter: in ft. worth, balloons and tears for a 3-year-old who somehow climbed into a car in 98-degree heat. his heartbroken parents finding him unresponsive 45 minutes later. >> this kid did what any other kid would do. run and try to hide or something. >> reporter: in houston, a 7-month-old died after police say his father forgot him in a parked car. and in parker county, sin in cys under arrest for locking her

children in a car as punishment. last week, indiana police rescued a baby from a locked car. her mother returning after two hours. >> is it a baby? >> reporter: this year, 14 have t died in hot cars. the average is 37, or 1 child every 9 days. >> it can happen. and the minute you think it can, you're at your most vulnerable state. >> he knows too well. he broke his routine by taking his wife to work first, instead of dropping off their son, michael, at day care. >> it's not that you're a bad parent. you've gotten into a routine. >> reporter: he left the 3-year-old in the vehicle for an hour and 15 minutes, while the temperature climbed to 80 degrees, an estimated 120 inside the van. >> it's every parent's worth nightmare. >> reporter: michelle remembers getting the punished call. >> i remember how hepless i was.

there was nothing i could do. >> michael suffered six heat strokes but survived. he and his father are recovering. >> if we don't talk about it, we can't raise ararenewareness. we hope somebody is watching and takes it to heart. >> what can you do to prevent this? experts suggest putting a briefcase or your phone in the backseat, something you will be forced to look to see if a child is there. there's apps you can download on your phone that will alert you when you leave your car. also, there's legislation making its way through congress, getting bipartisan support for a child safety alert system in all new cars that would alert drivers when they leave their cars and the child is left inside. >> all smart ideas, gabe. gabe, thanks so much for that. want to turn to a dramatic rescue caught on camera at an amusement park. take a look. you can see a 14-year-old girl hanging from a ride at a six

flags in upstate new york. she drops to the ground where she was caught by other park guests. morgan radford, she's lucky. >> lucky and terrified. she's in good spirits but recovering from the injuries. and that video showing the terrifying moment of that fall. now, has to question the safety of these rides in general. an end to a ride no one was expecting. a terrified 14-year-old girl, hanging on for dear life. dangling from the seat of a ride 25 feet above ground. >> her neck is stuck. >> reporter: the harrowing moment caught on cell phones saturday night, at a six flags great escape in upstate new york. >> saw this young person dangling by just her arms and head, basically, off the chair. >> reporter: the girl's brother, on the chair with her, shouting for help, clinging frantically to his sisters arms.

>> see the brother, don't let her die. i can't hold on much longer. >> reporter: bystanders below, jumped into action. >> kind of horrifying. you didn't know what the outcome was going to be. >> reporter: one man, climbing a nearby treat to get to the girl. >> reporter: mothers like matthew howard and his daughter, leann, forming a human landing pad. >> i said, i'll catch you. >> go ahead. >> reporter: after hanging on for three minutes, the girl finally lets go. the girl was hospitalized, shaken but alive. six flags released a statement saying they closed the ride and they will, quote, conduct an internal thorough review. harrowing moments, causing some to question whether the danger was worth the thrill. now, experts don't know exactly how this happened. but they say if you are headed to a theme park this summer, you should stop in a guest relations office, and ask for a guide to the rides. ask how to use them and find out

frank kerrigan and his daughter, carol. just last month they held a memorial service for their son and brother, frankie. saying good-bye, laying him to rest near his mother's grave or so they thought. the nightmare started on may 6th, with a phone call. >> i'm sorry, mr. kerrigan, to tell you this over the telephone, but your son is deceased. >> reporter: kerrigan was devastated by the news that his 57-year-old son had been found dead. he was told he had been identified by his fingerprints. >> and as soon as they said it was by his fingerprints, that was the dagger in my heart. that is what -- i know he was gone. >> reporter: frankie is mentally ill and homeless. but the family had heard from him from time to time. >> it was my worst fear come true. >> reporter: but more than two weeks after the funeral, a family friend who was a pal bearer called with the

unbelievable news. he said, mr. k., your son is alive. i said, oh, my god. frank gets on the phone and says hi, dad, how are you doing? >> reporter: the body police found was not frankie. the coroner's office telling the lawyer that the body had been misidentified using the driver's license photo in the system. the orange county sheriff's department is conducting an internal investigation, releasing a statement over the weekend that reads in part, the department extends regrets for any emotional stress caused as a result of this unfortunate incident. the kerrigan family and their lawyers say they will fight to make sure this never happens again. >> there's no excuse. it's a horrific thing. a terrible thing that happened to them and it shouldn't have happened. >> we're so happy for frank to be with us and we're joyous. and at the same time, we still feel the pain. >> reporter: the kerrigan family says they spent $20,000 on a

will be working the phones to boost that health care headcount. this morning, the kickoff to a critical week, with some republicans skeptical, they can get health care over the goal line. there's no way we should be voting on this next week. no way. >> it's hard for me to see the bill passing this week. >> reporter: senate majority leader mitch mcconnell can only lose two gop senators or the bill fails. right now, five republicans say they can't vote for the bill as written, a plan that would eliminate the requirement to buy insurance and cut medicaid. passing the repeal of obamacare, a crucial campaign promise of president trump, as he responds to criticism of the new plan. >> that was my term. i want to see -- and i speak from the heart, that's what i want to see. i want to see a bill with heart. >> reporter: the president confirming he, himself, called the house version mean. even after celebrating it in the

rose garden last month. president trump taking aim on russia and moscow's meddling in the 2016 election. >> if he had the information, why didn't he do something about it? he should have done something about it. but you don't read that. it's quite sad. >> president trump will spend his evening tonight with the prime minister of india. with the two expected to talk trade, energy, north korea and maybe twitter. these are the two most followed political leaders on social media after all. matt, back to you. >> hallie jackson in washington. thank you very much. there's a lot happeni ining the supreme court this morning on the last day of the current session. nbc's justice correspondent, pete williams, is right there. pete, good morning. >> reporter: hoda, good morning. six decisions remain to be announced this term. but that's not the question today. the question is what is to become of president trump's travel ban? and will today bring a retirement? the president wants the supreme court to take up the appeal of his executive order, a 90-day pause on issuing visas to the u.s. from six muslim countries.

it's been blocked by lower courts. he wants the justices to let the government start enforcing the travel ban now when the case is on appeal. and there's speculation that anthony kennedy might retire. he's 81, on the court for 29 years. some friends say he's been thinking about stepping down. if he does, that would allow president trump to make the court solidly conservative for decades. that's because justice kennedy is often the deciding vote when the court is divided. grouping supporting the president on the neil gorsuch nomination, says they doubt he will retire this year. takata has filed for bankruptcy protection after recalling air bags. the air bags linked to 16 deaths worldwide. most of the company's assets will be bought by key safety systems for about $1.6 billion.

faulty air bag recalls will go forward with the automakers known to be affected, with around 100 million inflaters and counting, this has been the largest recall in automotive history. to a flight so frightening it had passengers fearing the worst. this airasia flight developed an engine problem that caused the plane to shake violently. this went on for about two hours. passengers say it was so bad, the pilot actually told them to pray, twice. they eventually turned back and made a safe emergency landing. airasia says its engineers are looking into what it called a technical issue. and a dramatic river rescue in california caught on camera. the rough rapids proved too much for this swimmer who thought he could make it to the other side. he managed to find refuge on a giant rock where he waited until help arrived. rescue crews and a helicopter managed to get him to safety.

breeze out of the west, keeping humidity nice and low. new jersey up to 80 degrees inland and with the westerly winds the warm air also reaches the shore. 79 degrees, nothing but sunshine for the lehigh valley, a nice warm-up with low humidity for delaware with a high of 81. have a great day. >> and that's your latest forecast. matt? >> dylan, thank you very much. john f. kennedy would have turned 100 this year. he was the first catholic to be elected president, a presidency that marked a turning point in this country. in the new book "the road to camelot," former "boston globe" reporters take an in depth look at how kennedy changed modern political campaigning forever. they're here with our friend tom brokaw. what an honor to have you all here. i started reading about this when the book showed up on my desk about a week and a half ago. and my first reaction -- i hope you will understand this is what are they going to tell me i

didn't know before when it came to john f. kennedy. what were you looking to do? >> well, explode a few myths. there's a mountain of evidence over the last 60 years that's been hiding in plain sight. we took a deep dive into this gargantuan supply. >> it occurs to me when i said in the introduction, the first catholic president, i let it roll off my tongue. and if you go back to that time, there were a lot of people in this country who didn't think that would ever happen. it was monumental. >> i was 20 years old. i was in college. and i had forgotten what an incredible issue it was to ka catholici catholicism. today, we don't think about it. back then, it was an enormous issue. >> is it unfair to complete a comparison between john f. kennedy as a catholic, being elected president and fast-forward to barack obama, an african-american being elected president? >> i think barack obama got to be president in part because of

the breakthrough that john f. kennedy made, in terms of -- the other thing about that time, my parents were dirt road democrats. they were suspicious of john f. kennedy, catholic and from this very wealthy family in massachusetts. they didn't feel connected to him. and what is striking when you look at him, and they bring it out so clearly, he was the end of the crowd. we had stu symington, a missouri senator. hubert humphrey, they wanted to be the democratic candidate. he was thought of a playboy in the senate. as you said in the beginning, i didn't think there was more i could learn from all this. but these two have turned up a mountain of stuff. >> one of the things he did that no one had done before, was he hired a pollster. a young guy named lou harris. and harris taught him, for example, religion was actually a two-edge ed sword. there were all kinds of independent-oriented catholics

who came out to vote for him because he was catholic. and seeing that balance and much more importantly getting kennedy to talk about it. unlike al smith in 1928, kennedy would bring it up. >> we talked a lot -- tom and i talked about this and we talk about it on the show a lot, campaigns these days go on for what seems like an eternity. and yet, there is a very important vetting process that is a part of the length of that campaign. but in the book, you guys go back and look at it wasn't a one-year campaign. it was a five-year process. undertaken by john f. kennedy to prepare himself and put himself in the right position to be elected president. >> right. he got started '56, at the democratic convention, where adalaide stevenson threw it to the convention to choose his running mate. and soon, this young, inexperienced senator, nearly captured it at the convention. and he burst on to the scene and

took advantage of it. >> people talk about joe kennedy, tom. and i guess depending on what your experience was with him at the time, you would have one opinion or another. string puller, back room dealmaker, something you heard. but entering in the book, within the campaign, his reputation was different. >> very different. the money, yes, that's a given. but we found in our deep dive into all this stuff, that his advice, his orders, his brow-beating of his sons, was almost never paid attention to. he had a concept of this game the old way. back rooms, big deals with bosses and whatever. kennedy was the first guy to run for president in a way that let the voters in. and that put him at -- his father fielded the turf. but to say he was a significant influence on that campaign would be a grotesque --

>> that's a major myth about him. my feeling about him was he said jump and the sons said how high. >> remember one of the things, curtis, john kennedy got up and said, thank you very much, dad, for your advice and everything. but here's what we're going to do. >> yeah. about going to west virginia. he opposed going to west virginia. it turned out to be a pivotal primary. and they had had a powwow. and the old man says you don't dare go there. there's no catholics in west virginia. and john kennedy said, well, we've heard from the ambassador and this is what we're going to do, which was the opposite. >> it's been striking to me about the relationship between john kennedy and the father. that kennedy dies, including bobby, also, learned from the father how to do a deal. they took it to the next generation. this was a corporate kind of campaign in terms of how they organize it. and the old man had a hard time dealing with that. >> if you're like me and you

thought there's nothing new to learn about john f. kennedy, curtis and thomas change your mind about that in this book. congratulations, guys. you're hanging out with a nice guy, as well. up next, is it time to ditch your doctor? helpful advice about moving on and getting better health care.

welcome back to "today." are you overly attached to your doctor? a lot of people find it difficult to separate from their physicians. but when it comes to that important relationship, it is important to know that it can run its course. gn dr. natalie azar is here to tell us when it is time for a good old-fashioned breakup. sometimes, we'll get into the reasons as to why. but sometimes, you feel like something just didn't right. and you feel it's okay to break up. should you have a face-to-face and say, hey, look, it's not me,

it's you? it's not you, it's me? >> always better to communicate. honesty is the best policy. the first thing we're going to talk is the pediatrician. think about this. this is a monumental change from kids, going from having a pediatrician to transitioning to the adult doctor. it's a big, big change. you're not going to be dealing with this for a while with your ba baby. but parents should start having this conversation with their pediatrician. >> start of puberty. when is the right time to say i'm ready to move on? >> basically, these are the things you want to think about. you want to ask the pediatrician's practice, what age do they stop seeing kids? you want to know how many teenagers are in the practice. do they have an adolescent room so the kids aren't sitting there with the babies in the waiting room. what's the policy on confide confidentiali confidentiality. the pediatrician should be speaking with them confidently.

and most importantly, for young girls, do they provide gyn care or contraceptive counseling? >> you need a specialist, something your doctor cannot provide for you. >> we don't want this to happen. but of course, in your lifetime, you might develop a chronic illness of some sort. whether it's heart disease, arthritis. and you're going to be referred to a specialist. often time that will participate in your insurance as a primary care provider. and ask them, can you function as my primary care provider. sometimes they can't. the specialist, often because of the nature of the illness, will cover things for you, like laboratories and vaccines. that's something you might try to transition from a primary care doctor who handles everything, to a specialist who can provide that care for you. >> this next one can also a big one. sometimes you don't click with

your doctor. you show up and wait for two hours and you ask if you can explain in details, you need to connect. >> absolutely. that speaks to communication. if you walk out of your doctor's office and you're thinking, what did the doctor just say? what diagnosis? what does this mean for me? that's not a good thing. also, the therapeutic approach. imagine if you, as a patient, feel you'd like to be more aggressive, in your treatment. and the doctor's conservative. or vice versa. and a big one i think for a lot of people, too, is your doctor going to collaborate with your other doctors? are they open to communicating and relaying information between your specialists? >> we should point out that although we can break up with you, you can break up with us, if you want. >> yes. this is the two-way street. it's not like a marriage. you can say irreconcilable differences. that's not going to fly. first and foremost, that the

physician is responsible for the continuity of care. >> why would a doctor want to break up with a patient? >> every once in a while, there's a patient that's going to be problematic for their care. they may not show up for appointments. they may be noncompliant. and there may be situations where they're rude or violent with staff. there's a protocol to it. you have to do it the right way. >> dr. azar, thank you for that. there's nothing va nanilla about the new ice cream flavors. we're about to
