>> glenn schwartz has our update. >> we are starting to see some of these clouds starting to build up a little bit. it may be a sign of things to come for this afternoon. right now we are up to 71 in philadelphia. it is 72 in reading and lancaster and dover. it will be a delightfully comfortable afternoon there. as far as radars the showers are being tagged. they have moved offshore now. we are left with a lot of clearing. this is a sign of what's to come due to this swirl up here. it could put just enough to do showers this afternoon. the futureskcast is showing hou by hour.

into court this morning. he gave him trip to california and los vegas vegas. he told the court he did so knowing williams would do favors for him only the d.a. could do. he said williams wrote letters on his behalf when he was having trouble getting his liquor license. he took a plea deal that kept him out of yajail. we'll be back at 11:30 with what's going on inside of the courtroom. i'm pamela osbornosborne. nbc 10 news. we were on marshal street.

investigators who were searching the area say they found more than a dozen shell casings there. investigators looking for the cause of an apartment fire in philadelphia. we are on the scene of north oakland street. flames broke it inside an apartme apartment. fire crews put out the flames. everyone did make it out safely. 11:04 now. we are hearing from a mother found murdered in a park. >> she was beaten and stabbed in the park. nothing was taken from her including her pocketbook and her phone. her mother said she went to the crime scene to retrace her final steps. >> she was dressed in

flip-flops, pony tail and going home. >> it is unclear if she was sexually assaulted. they want to talk to two young men but call left before police. this trio got away with money, cigarettes and headphones. it happened last friday morning. if you know them police want to hear from you. investigating the case of a woman found dead on her family's farm this past weekend. >> yeah. they say she died inside here sunday morning. she lived in the house with her father. he said he thought he was dreaming. >> slow down. you said you were sleeping and

there are rising tensions over syria and another potential chemical attack. >> the white house is warning syria. syria is dismissing the accusations. matt bradley has more on this. >> it's just so rare for the white house to fire aa shot across like it did last a night. the president's statement was pretty vague. they are seeing movements on the ground that are similar to the ones that lead up to the attack

in western syria back in april. if you'll remember, that attack killed about 100 people and injured hundreds more. in response he fierilied nearly missiles. that was the first time they had attacked the regime. in the past week the u.s. shot down a syrian fighter yet and it prompted them to say it could can be any u.s. aircraft as a legitimate target. so things have gotten incredibly complicated. if the regime uses chemical weapons again and the president follows through to punish the syrian government it could make it more difficult for those trying to resolve this long conflict. back to you. republican leaders in the senate are scrambling to get

enough senators on board but they are running into roadblock. they found 22 million more people will be without health insurance. that's according to analysis. three republican senators said they are opposed to the plan. it makes a total of six republicans who say they can't vote for the bill in the current form. the white house said that the budget office has an of ak cure si. ryan says he is confident mcconnel will get the bill through the senate. he does think there will be changes before a final vote happens. two republican governors are speaking out against the healthcare bill. they both said this bill cannot solve the problems created by

dry air coming in. you can see the little showers racing across the area fairly small but you can get a little intense thunderstorm far little while with this kind of a pattern. you have seen temperatures in the upper 70s. there will be parts of the area that are only in the low 70s. it cools down quite a bit tonig tonight. in the 50s by 11:00 at night. down by near 50 by morning. it is 52 in pots town. it is cool tomorrow morning and just spectacular in the afternoon. there is no doubt about that. on thursday we start to see the temperatures go up and some showers up to the north as you'll see here. philadelphia, i don't have showers in on thursday but i do have the temperature jump. pa suburbs, same story. in lehigh valley we'll have the

once we got rid of clouds and showers from earlier and they have moved out into the ocean. cape may is starting to see improvements with the weather. we are seeing sunshine. flags aren't blowing very much. there isn't a lot of wind. very low humidity. it is going to be a beautiful afternoon. we do have some showers starting to develop here. it is out of our viewing area. it is a sign of things to come. these are first signs and i expect lehigh valley would be the first parts of our area seeing some of these showers this arn. here we are at 1:00. this computer model has showers popping up already.

man in south philadelphia. we were on the scene overnight. that's where the 18-year-old victim was shot in the back. he later died at the hospital. investigators looking for the cause of an apartment fire in philadelphia. it was near vine street. flames broke out just after 2:00. fire crews arrived and put out the flames. everyone did make it out safely. police hope you'll recognize these three gies. th -- guys. if you fknow who they are polic want to hear from you. in court to set a trial date in a lawsuit. she claims cosby molested her when she was 15 years old. court documents said cosby told her to lie about her age to get

into the mansion. neither cosby or his attorneys have excellented on the lawsuit. we are hearing from a juror in the mistrial. he said he flip-flopped during the long bill of deliberations finally showing his own words showed he was guilty of sexual assault. >> when they ask him, would you use the word consent and he said himself that he wouldn't use that word. you really got caught red handed. like why would you say that if you're trying to defend yourself? >> not everyone on the jury agreed. after more than 50 hours of deliberations the jury announce that i had were hopelessly deadlocked.

president trump's for partial legal victory has more of asking how much can be enforced. >> the court granted the president's request which called far 90 day pause for visas for fr six muslim countries. it partially lifted orders that have so far blocked enforcement of the travel ban. >> the court clearly went in a different direction and upheld the president's constitutional power here. >> he said the travel ban must remain on hold, a family member, a job or pe siosition at a scho. they say that's a big victory for them. >> the vast majority of people who were prohibited by the executive order from coming in

in the area this afternoon. right now it's all up to 80 in marshalton in delaware. just updated and live on tv. it is 75 degrees in newark. it is 74 at ready point. farther to the south we are dealing with pretty mild weather. the bowie is at 68 degrees. clouds and showers moving out. duo ha we do have some showers developing. it is not moving out yet. they may be developing little farther south as the afternoon goes on. then back farther to the west there's just nothing. that's what we are getting tomorrow, nothing, just sunshine. here are the isolated showers. mostly to the north. later on there could be some

farther to the south as well. there was rain down in central and southern delaware this morning. this is for this evening. then we clear out and we have that great di tomorrow. we start drying out again in the evening. going down into the 50s. it is 52 in reading. rewelly warm up with nothing but sunshine getting close to 80 degrees. the big jump somes on thursday. still tollerable. showers most likely in the lehigh valley on thursday but not elsewhere. the weekend we have temperatures getting into the 90s in most areas. the best chances of thunderstorms is on sunday.

right now it looks like on saturday lehigh valley has the best chance of getting any type of showers and storms. philly will be hot. it will be humid and we do have the threat of thunderstorms later on in the day. here is the ten day forecast. we have got that heat coming in friday and saturday. sunday the showers and storms may keep the subpoena down and then monday we dry out and it gets hot again. but the 4th of july we have to keep our threeye ton chance of storms.
