"nbc 10 news" starts now. >> we begin tonight with an armed robbery spree. two young women wanted. police say they targeted cab drivers and tourists, and they're becoming increasingly violent. good evening. these bandits are wanted for three different crimes in upper darby. first a cab driver robbed on june 19. another driver robbed two hours later, and then june 23rd, two tourists attacked along kent road. denise is live in upper darby. i know you spoke with two of these victims tonight. one of them in her 80s, and put through a real ordeal. >> reporter: yeah, as you mentioned, these crimes are getting more violent with the use of physical force. in the latest crime, a woman and her 86-year-old woman were targeted while visiting from south america. a crime spree involving two

young women armed with a gun in upper darby. the latest victims visiting from ecuador. >> translator: she came up close to me and put the gun right here. >> reporter: martha gave up her purse and her mother was struck with the gun. >> translator: i grabbed my purse with two hands and they even took my dentures. >> reporter: the thieves got away with both purses and $900 in cash. days earlier, they lured two cab drivers to streets that are only a few blocks apart. >> they're scum bags. cam driver arrives, starts a conversation, next thing you know a one to his head. >> reporter: both cab drivers were robbed of cash but not hurt. neighbors and the public have

been put on notice to look out for the crook's getaway car, a dark gray hyundai captured by video camera. >> we're going have to put a stop to this. hopefully this won't happen again. >> reporter: police are looking for a third person, the driver of the getaway car. detectives are working around the clock following several strong leads. to this now. a shocking discovery at a construction site in philadelphia. human bones, including a jaw. police tell us workers found the bones when they were digging on west atlantic street this afternoon. investigators believe they are adult remains and they're trying to figure out how and when the person died. the health care vote delayed for now. republican senators met at the white house this evening after delaying their planned vote on the new bill until after the july fourth recess. president trump brought them together and did not mince words.

beginning next month, prescriptions will be limited to a five-day supply. that prevents multiple prescriptions from being filled at different pharmacies and reduces the risk for addiction. to a developing story. dozens of companies around the world in scramble mode after being hit by a signer attack. pharmaceutical maker merck were among those affected. the hackers are holding victims' data for ransom. experts warn even if victims pay up, they may not regain access to their systems. a 90-year-old man who escaped from prison four decades ago is charmed with fraud in philadelphia. william lewis moved here after he broke out of a maryland prison in 1970. he used an ail use to apply for social security benefits. investigators say since 1991, he's selected nearly $500,000 in retirement benefits to which he's not entitled. now to an nbc 10 exclusive. a man who witnessed a

philadelphia police officer shoot and kill a man this month is breaking his silence. he says he was in an officer's suv with his two children, there it is right there, on their way to speak with detectives about an unrelated case. that's when officers stopped david jones for driving on a dirt bike erratically. the officer tried to pat down jones but he broke free and ran. the officer first tried to use a taser, then fired three times. >> we were sit thing in the police suv like this. >> did you feel your life was in danger? >> absolutely it was, absolutely. >> philadelphia's police commissioner tells nbc 10 the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. at the jersey shore, dirt bike riders are causing a ruckus. police dash cam caught this biker monday doing a wheelie. the bikes are illegal to ride on streets. officers say bikes will be seized and tickets will be written.

a mercer county teacher is under arrest for allegedly sexually assaulting a 9-year-old student. he's a fourth grade teacher at franklin elementary school in trenton, accused of having sexual contact with a female student in may. he's worked in trenton public schools since 1997. the u.s. supreme court will take up new jersey's push to he willize sports gambling -- legalize sports gambling. it could mean billions in new revenue if it gets the green light. the case will be argued this fall. new tonight, lawyers for bill cosby say the comedian's speaking tour will likely have to wait, saying his town hall tour is unlikely to happen before he's retried on sexual assault charges. two weeks ago, a jury announced they were deadlocked and the judge declared a mistrial. and today, cosby sent out a tweet disputing his own spokesman's suggestion that part of the tour would focus on

this right here is newly released surveillance video of a violent bus crash in detroit. the bus hit an suv that crossed its path, lthen plowed through brick wall. witnesses said it sounded like an explosion. five people were hurt in all. in delaware county, thieves broke into this shed and stole thousands worth of equipment from a youth football team. the crime happened just weeks before the team begins practice for the new season. as brandon hudson explains,

coaches and parents are scrambling to make sure the kids can still play. >> tried to steal helmets and bags and so forth. >> reporter: this shows the aftermath of a break-in at a storage shed. broken doors, windows, and a mess on the ground. >> and it's pure destruction. >> reporter: police say the thieves stole shoulder pads and helmets belonging to a local team. the chester township cougars and the cheer squad. >> we have kids that may not be able to have the helmets at the start of the season the year. >> a lot of them come from rough situations, so we give them an outlet. it's like somebody decided to take the outlet away from them. >> reporter: as you can see in the video, the thieves didn't get away with all the equipment. some was left behind on the ground. coaches say they recovered a few helmets and pads in neighbor's
