yesterday. impact of the holiday week and wawa, the weather. glenn schwartz joins us, hot, humid, potentially stormy this weekend. >> going to have one day, watching and tracking thunderstorms. tomorrow. generally between 3:00 and 9:00 p.m. that's why first alert is out. possibly strong winds as result. greatest threat to the north and west. poconos, lehigh valley and burks county. slight risk for severe storms. rest of the area is marginal category. some significance. right now talking about some showers and thunderstorms, way ahead of the main system. some getting into burks county now and coming into the lehigh valley. those areas as we've been

predicting for last several days likely to get storms tonight. part of the neighborhood forecast. that area would get it and others would not. this area to the west is going to get much of the region tomorrow afternoon. but looks like we're going to be okay for the penn's landing concert tonight. 92 degrees at 6:00, 90 at 8:00, fireworks at 9:30, looks like any storms would be north of the philadelphia area. right now it's been near 90 across most of the rest of the area except the jersey shore. that's different and going to be over the weekend too although not this cool. 61 degree ocean and 74 degree temperature. and warm as it's been all day in cape may at 73 degrees.

back with rest of the forecast. good news about the weekend? >> good news is after tomorrow, i think smooth sailing. look at that quickly. here's what is going on. start on sunday, past the severe storms and looking at temperatures around 90 degrees. i think going to be bright sunshine. might be most delightful of all the days. hottest might end up being today. isolated shower but on monday looking at possibility of scattered showers in the afternoon and a little bit more cloud cover. nonetheless still very warm. 90, 91 degrees. look what happens tuesday. wake up tuesday morning, i don't think that we will see any shower activity across delaware and south jersey but possibility of isolated shower there. and whole thing clears out. even the clouds.

off. parade in the morning, concert at 7:00 and fireworks at 9:30. 80 degrees but no rain at all. that's most important thing you see there. breaking news story. massive manhunt for driver who shot and killed a chester graduate, police released a sketch of the man they're looking for. rosemary joins us. >> the news conference just wrapped up. >> reporter: and handed out this composite sketch. got it within the past hour or two from eyewitness on the road at the time and saw this road rage driver and saw what happened with the victim, 18-year-old bianca roberson. and we get more details from chester county about what happened. this is around route 100, the spur that merges with route 202

south in west goeshen township not far from -- pike. cat and mouse game. two lanes that merge into one. according to investigators, the victim was trying to merge into the lane and jockeying for position, investigators say the driver in a red pick-up truck pulled out a gun and shot bianca roberson in the head, killing her. did get more detail about the description of the driver. between 20 and 40 years old. blond hair, light-colored eyes. medium build. and according to eyewitnesss who came forward to turn in tips about this, he sped off from the scene. from that information they believe he knew he had hit and possibly killed bianca because she veered off the road after the shooting happened.

police are looking for the driver. last night told us could be a chevy pick-up truck. this afternoon walked back a bit, now just looking in general for a red pick-up truck. they don't want to rule anything out. in case somebody is out there with information, want to make sure they receive all the tips. told us receiving phone calls from people all across the country, far away as texas describing similar road rage incidents, common theme seems to be a red pick-up truck, unclear if tips carry weight or have effect on this case. that's what they're trying to sort out. more coming up top of the 5:00 news cast. rosemary connors, nbc 10 news. >> all-out manhunt and hopefully that sketch will help. talk about the weekend. far from hitting end of the
