right now philadelphia's former top prosecutor is sitting in a jail cell after pleading guilty to bribery. abrupt plea claimed during seth williams' trial yesterday. >> then resigned from post. >> are you worried about criminal charges for your conduct? >> nbc10 investigators tracked and questioned williams about his spending and ethics. now this case may change how pennsylvania handles corrupt politicians. >> there's a new bill in the works. >> state senator leach wants any politician convicted of corruption to immediately be removed from office. right now law allows a corrupt convicted politician to stay in office until sentencing. seth williams resigned from office as part of plea deal but

team of nbc10 meteorologists has issued a first alert for tomorrow. glenn "hurricane" schwartz has the holiday forecast but begin with tammie souza tracking the rain. >> gusty and severe storms north of the area. north of poconos and off to the west, you can see the beam sweeping the sky. zoom in. severe thunderstorm warning here near lebanon. and winds and quarter size hail. that's the warning on this storm. moving north and east and may clip parts of berks county and lehigh county. watching for some to make it into our area. allentown, you have light showers. will be intense lightning with these, again gusty winds and hail. whole line coming at us, huge

one wrinkle here added since yesterday. we'll get into in just a minute. first hour by hour. starting tomorrow night, once that line of storms has moved past, still warm and steamy. sunday morning, still pretty warm and hot day on sunday but not quite as humid as saturday. looking dry. but monday is a different story. so now we're seeing weak system coming in from the north. again it's going to be warm, relatively humid. but now it has some showers coming through during the evening hours. that would be not great news for the philly pops. by 11:00 it's moving out. that sets us up for a nice day on tuesday for the main wawa welcome america activities. so it's not perfect but it's not bad at all. thunderstorms on saturday coming through. that tammie just showed you.

to see strong storms. now let's move ahead to sunday. looks better doesn't it glenn? >> absolutely. we'd like to see that continue into monday and tuesday too but got a wrinkle in part of that forecast. as with he go through sunday, yeah, starts off warm, dry, gets hot but it's still dry. not quite as humid as today and tomorrow though. as we go into monday, may be a system coming down from the north. most of the computer models do not show any rain for monday. this particular one does. so we have to say that there's at least a chance of some showers. can't say it's zero but not very high, maybe 20% we do get showers coming through during the day on monday. tuesday the drier air comes back in, pretty well set for july
