deadly house fire this morning. a tractor trailer closed part of the road on monday. and a dramatic knew discovery that shows amilea earhart might have survived her flight afterall. a split second decision the victim may have made could have cause her her life. >> i'm vai sikahema. >> i'm tracy davidson. the woman made it out safely and then went back in. pam is telling us more.

>> reporter: that woman was desperate to save her pet, so desperate she ran inside of her burning home after she made it out to safety. you can see this entire house engulfed in flames. three people made it out of the house. the video that you're looking at now is from sky force 10 taken shortly after the fire was reported a little after 6:00. they found the body of the 39-year-old woman on the first floor. her name is not being released. pets did die in the fire as well. they warn people not to go back into burning homes, the avoid tragedy like this. >> once you're out, stay out. let us know and let the police officer, first responders know

a woman killed in a house fire after she ran back into her burning home to rescue her pet. >> we have details about what happened. pam, how does this play out? >> reporter: we know one of the family's dogs did actually make it out of the house. when the other pet didn't she went back in to save them. the fire broke out at a home in the 2,700 block of june avenue. more than 50 firefighters responded. when they arrived two of the three people were already outside. they were taken to the hospital along with a firefighter who sustained minor injuries during the fire fight. take a look at this t. th is a
